I've been to many places that charge way more for less and they have nothing on this place. Everything was absolutely perfect. “I love Pine & Crane! Seriously amazing Taiwanese food. The restaurant is stylish, modern and clean while the food is very authentic and completely delicious. My kids were surprised at how tasty everything was. Healthy too! We will def be back often!!!! If they have it, the lotus root salad is a must! 3 cup chicken is amazing, wontons, etc… I want to try the wood ear mushrooms next!!!“

My mom was so happy to have Chinese food in the west side.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetable fried rice. Make sure to ask for no egg if you are vegan. The salt and pepper tofu was vegan and gluten free.“

“I came here for lunch.They have ‘lunch portion’ items in the menu, which were pretty decent deal.The Dungeness crab fried rice is ??I tried the XLB dumpling, pork and Dungeness crab. The crab was slightly scaly. The dumpling can use a little bit more flavor. I did not feel I tasted as much of the crab. Otherwise it wan’t bad.I also tried the ox tail noodle soup. It was a bit bland. I was not too impressed with this item. Maybe the spicy version can be better one..Still not bad for ordering 3 items my bill comes out to $32 before tip. Pretty good.“

“The food and drinks are as good as always as this is a Franchise chain from decades ago. Had a Popcorn Chicken meal, which ended up coming with a drink, and an additional snack of Taiwanese Sausage on the side. Very filling, and tasted as great as I remembered itUnfortunately, I'm docking points for the simple business practice of updating prices -- they were not updated on their signage. The prices listed inside for the meal item was updated once; however, it was not the current up-to-date price - and the menu out front was even older with an even further out-of-date price. The food is still *very* reasonably priced though. It's just not pleasant expecting an approximately $15 charge and seeing a $20 one instead. The meal cost about $12, previous listings were $11 inside and $10 outside. I'm forgetting how much the sausage cost, $6 approx maybe for 2 full moderate sized ones on skewers?Other items influencing the docked score are -- lack of restrooms to use, with the one that exists labeled "out of order" and the door being completely blocked off by stacks of bags of rice. Seems like they are using half of the original dining area as storage, and it might be as assistance for the neighboring shop. So I can actually overlook that somewhat and actually find it reasonably praiseworthy - but signage for prices do actually need to be updated, whether it be by covering the old ones with masking tape and writing over it with sharpie or printing out an updated menu“
