Spent $53 for my family of four and we got 1 large drink, 3 regular drinks(2 of the 4 drinks had boba), 2 orders(4pieces total) of Spam Musubi & 1 order of Lobster balls(6 balls). I’m an “on average” mom so this was well worth it to me. My husband and kids loved everything and we had leftovers!“

“UMe Tea has always been one of my go-to boba spots because it’s nearby and usually provides a great experience. However, when I visited on 6/11 after a VERY long day, I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Oolong Milk Tea and was disappointed. The drink tasted very watered down, and it felt more like watered milk with boba than milk tea.
I didn’t go back to ask for a remake because I decided to let it go, but I wanted to share my experience. Overall, I wouldn’t give the shop a one-star review based on a single bad visit, as I’ve had many good experiences here in the past“

“probably the best boba place in terms of quality here. i’m a regular customer, i usually come once or twice every month for about a year now. taste never disappoints each time, atmosphere is always nice, employees are generally nice. if not nice, shy, but still very helpful. only thing that is a negative is the prices are a little higher (about two dollars more) than usual compared to the local boba places that are within five miles of it. quality of the drinks nullify the cost increase in my opinion though.

“Many boba options are available but I keep coming back to this one. They have free wifi!! I have not found another milk tea house that provides wifi.

They have an extensive milk tea menu and everything is adjustable. I was able to modify my ginger milk tea whereas other boba places do not.
The popcorn chicken was flavorful, salty, juicy, and reminded me of chicken that I grew up eating. Other boba places have a different type of breading for the crust.“

“I have to say the choices of the different boba drinks was great and to top it off the choice of food and snacks looked really good. We chose the popcorn chicken which was hot and fresh and tasted great. As for the staff they were all extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. The interior of the store was clean and well laid out.
To be honest the only detractor from our visit was the neighborhood between the number of homeless and sad say tweakers outside the shop didn't feel like it was the safest.

“I absolutely love this place! During quarantine I would come by from time to time because it was the only great bubble tea spot that is beyond amazing . The prices are really good for the different variety of drinks, the bubble tea always comes out very refreshing, very pretty with the decor they put up, and my favorite part of the store is how welcoming and kind the staff is each visit. A lot of places can create bubble tea but when there is staff who make customers feel welcomed and valued that’s what really sets the bar. They are also very helpful too! The location is not big , but has pretty much decent capacity for customers who are willing to dine in. Yes ! They offer different types of services dining in, to go , and delivery which like most other food chain restaurants or regular coffee shops. In addition, the prices are pretty much decent for the different types of drinks you order, also California is getting expensive, so nothing is cheap anymore. One thing about this location really caught my attention that the quality of their ingredients, and products are really good, and fresh, so the quality of drinks , and food is good. They are wheelchair accessible, and friendly, but the seats are not comfortable for a bodily disabled individual, so use your own accommodations. The parking is big, and you can easily find parking spots including handicapped areas. My experience was good , and I got my favorite drink with extra ingredients, also they do listen to customers concerns, and take care of them, so I will definitely return, and will definitely recommend. Turned out the person named Van was really rude and didn't care to respond after asking me how many donuts I wanted. My husband drove straight there and asked if they could just help us out. We did a unicorn theme so anything colorful was good enough. When we came to pick them up, the baker was very excited to show us what he got. He went above and beyond for us. I almost teared up when I saw how sparkly and colorful the donuts were for my daughter's birthday. Definitely a vibe here, Cantonese influenced, food is delicious and tasty as would expect from a Cantonese establishment. “We were traveling to Lake Tahoe. We passed through Sacramento and ate Asian food called Yum Cha Cafe (on the right side of the Shunfa SF Supermarket on 65th Street. We ate their roast duck, barbecued pork buns, shrimp balls, and barbecue. , fried noodles, siomai, their roast duck is so famous and really delicious. Very good seasoning, very fresh, plump and elastic meat. This is the most valuable roast duck in this area. I only had it in Hong Kong last time. I'm so happy today. I tasted such a good taste again. My family and I are very happy. I recommend it to everyone. You must try it. It's incredible.“

“Stopped by this place because another foodie told us we can’t miss their duck noodle soup so we HAD to try it. I would’ve never expected a full dine in restaurant at a boba shop but there it was. Sometimes when people tell you something tastes great, you set your expectation high and the actual food can be disappointing because it’s not as good as it’s hyped to be and how you’ve elevated it in your mind. Well, I have to say that it did not disappoint! We were seated promptly but for some reason, they helped another table who arrived after us for some reason. Not a big deal though since there weren’t many people and it was a leisurely weekend for us.

We ordered the shredded roast duck noodles soup. The broth was very flavorful but light with its clear broth. They used the vermicelli bean thread noodles and so my husband just thought the texture was off. I ordered the Roasted Duck Confit with Large noodles and mustard greens. The duck came out in a separate dish than the soup. The broth was light and tasted heavenly. I added some chili oil available at the table and the slight kick added another dimension to this delicious dish. What was utterly amazing about the dish was the duck. The skin was nice and crispy and even though I dunked the duck into the broth, I could tell it had been marinated because the flavor was infused deep into the meat, so much so that I could still taste the flavors after the dunking. I don’t think I’ve had duck this good before.

We also ordered the Hainanese chicken and beef chow fun. Both were good and standard fare that would satisfy any cravings, if you had an inkling for it. The pork ears were also pretty good too but it does have a brief numbing sensation to the tongue even though we ordered it as mild, I’m assuming from Sichuan peppercorns? But what a gem of a place that is almost down the street from us! We’ll be back for that roasted duck!! 🤤

The service was good but not excellent. We had to ask for our drinks but it never came out, even after the food started coming out. We asked and it came out shortly after that; the waitress was apologetic for forgetting. I deducted one star because no one came back to check to see if we needed refills or if we needed anything else after the food was served. But if you caught their attention, they’d get whatever you wanted promptly. Overall, the service was still pretty good all things considered. The waitress was was waiting the tables in the dining area and also helping people who came in just for drinks.“
