“Was super happy with our dinner at Hippo. Every dish was delicious. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower starters had excellent flavors. All the pastas we tried had incredible depth of flavor without being overly heavy or greasy. The hippo rolls and table focaccia were excellent and the chicken thighs were to die for. Only thing that was lackluster was the passion fruit gelato. Fun vibe, lots of seating, and great service!”

“Javier our server was professional and attentive. We ordered 1 anticucho and 2 fish ceviches. This by far is the best place for Peruvian ceviche in Los Angeles. The fish is tasty and fresh. I am so pleased with sauces, and the quality of the food. This place has replaced my old peruvian restaurant. Make reservations and enjoy this savory feast.”

“Maciel’s makes high-quality food with great flavor and texture, freshly prepared. They make one of the better vegan Ruebens we’ve had. Worth a trip to give them a try. Enjoy!”

“Need to come to this small food joint inside the liquor place! They have seating outside the place, which is perfect!
I got their Dirty Baby sandwich with avocado! Cost 2 dollars more to add avocado, btw.
Rating: 9/10!!!
Really greasy, be warned, but worth it for sure!
My brother ordered their Jeff's Special Sandwich.
He rated it a 7/10, but I rate it 8.5/10!
For me, it was delicious! But personally, I prefer their Dirty Baby sandwich ❤️🔥
If I happen to be in the area again, I will certainly return. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I eagerly anticipate my next visit 😊”

“Had some relatives visiting me decided to bring them here, and they LOVED IT. The quality of the meats was very good, the tomato broth was our personal favorite, and we all really liked the sauce bar! It was their first time having any kind of hot pot and they really enjoyed themselves. We also did get the hand pulled noodle (it was great 😃👍🏻) and our waiter Siying was so helpful and attentive!! She's great!”

“Waited about an hour, totally worth it!
We had har gow, shu mai, beef rice roll, baked bbq pork bun, fried chicken dumpling. Our favorite was the beef rice roll and baked bbq pork bun! The bun is so buttery and the bread by itself is so yummy.”

“Stealing a phrase from their menu here, but Belle’s bagels is the epitome of “Newish & Jewish” deli classics. Their bagels on their own (judged by eating them without any CC or toppings) are wonderful and I much prefer them over the bagels from Courage, Layla, and Jyan Isaac. They have all the usual suspects (poppy, plain, onion, everything, sesame, salt) and what I’ll call a zeitgeist spin on a typical Asiago bagel: the cacio e pepe. I ordered an assortment of bagels to-go but also had an egg & cheese on the cacio e pepe at the bar counter. It was unbelievably good and such a unique flavor - the crushed peppercorns were the perfect touch. The bagel was perfectly chewy and soft, which paired so well with the velvety eggs and oozing melted cheese. Sitting at the counter felt like I was being served little slice of Jewish deli nostalgia. I also tried one of the black and white cookies to-go and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn’t found a black and white cookie I liked in LA for years until now. If you ever miss New York or the hustle and bustle of a deli with charm and character, make your way to Belle’s.”

“I went to this bakery to get a cake, it was really good, only complaint I have is there is just too many people and not enough employees so expect to spend a good amount of time in here, could also use more parking spots.”

“You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, with that said I love to try a different item on it everytime I get a chance to stop by. Taste and quality are always on point. It's awesome to see the staff having a blast together with great music in the background making the experience feel fun even when there's a wait. Pricing is perfect as the portions are generous and the flavors are like to other. So happy to see this business growing as I look forward to seeing them all over the nation one day. Keep serving it up #TYQ!”

“Visit for lunch or Dinner. If you're lucky, you might have live music on a friday night. On to the food - Gourmet Carribean is a must try! the oxtails, jerk chicken, curry chicken, chick peas and the Friday special, Jerk Salmon. Everything I've tried is delicious. There's a small baker on the other side and I love their Ube cookies! I Highly recommend visiting Blossom Market. Located on the San Gabriel Mission Properties.”

“My friend and I heard about a special type of chili Relleño that was topped with a walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds. It is called chili en nogada. They have it here, and it was spectacular. The special ingredients compliment each other. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. We sat outside where they have a beautiful garden with fruit trees. including pomegranate, passion, and avocados. I've added a picture of the chili cut in half. Must try!”

“The Caribbean Gourmet spot inside Boston’s Market Hall offered some truly delicious entrée options. I visited with a friend who recommended the oxtails, curries, and jerk chicken—all of which were incredibly well-seasoned and perfectly balanced in flavor. I’d highly recommend it to anyone, especially since it’s located in an open, food hall-style space that features a variety of other cuisines, similar to a food court but much more upscale.
The setting included a small stage and communal seating, creating a festive and inviting atmosphere, especially with the Christmas decorations for the season. Everything was reasonably priced, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The overall vibe was casual and relaxed yet vibrant, making it a great spot to hang out and savor some amazing food.
Parking on the street was free and plentiful when we went on a Wednesday night after 7:30 pm.”

“Love the cookies here absolutely delicious, the names are clever and make me laugh, for those who are hating, get a sense of humor, have a bit of levity. I WILL be supporting this small business and spreading the word about it...how sad that we live in a society where cookies (COOKIES!) are offensive SMH!!!!!”
