Antonio Sessa's Made in Italy was a delightful surprise. Every bite transported me back to Italy. The food was prepared with such care and passion that it was clear this Italian Chef had a truly deep love for our cuisine. “We came from out of town and had a wonderful time here. We ordered the half dozen oysters, the sea bass, the hamachi crudo, shrimp cocktail and the rockfish. Everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed our server Mario. Mario is so talented, he should be training all the service staff.“

“This place is ten minutes from my house but the Angeleno along us is the one who found it and invited us there! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. Gotta like a place that gives back! 💙 The Reuben was phenomenal. The wait staff was pleasant, courteous, and cheerful. We will be back!“

“TO Fish & Chips in Westlake Village is hands down one of my all-time favorites. They’ve been around for over 40 years, and I’ve been coming here since the early 1990s. The quality has never slipped—crispy, golden fish on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside, paired with fries that hit the spot every time. Their clam chowder is also fantastic—rich, creamy, and the perfect way to round out a meal.

There’s something special about a place that’s been part of the community for decades and still does it better than anyone else. TO Fish & Chips isn’t just good—it’s the standard I measure all other fish and chips against. A true local gem that proves consistency and care never go out of style. 😎👍“

“We made a lunch reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately at a large round table outside with a beautiful view of the lake. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Since it was a weekend we were able to order from either the lunch menu or brunch menu so there were tons of options. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak frites which he really liked. He said it was a nice tender cut of beef. Our group also had the chicken parmesan and some breakfast/brunch items which they all enjoyed. They have a very large outdoor seating area and it’s nice sitting outside with the lake. Very nice weekend brunch vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the price point since most brunch spots can be way overpriced. They served their signature Baked Alaska as a free dessert for the birthday girl which was really cool since it’s served flambéd. I really enjoyed Boccaccio’s and will definitely be back to try their dinner items.“

“Add Pookies to the list of hidden gems in the Conejo Valley. We sat outside for dinner at a shaded table next to a running water feature. Three dishes proved to be just the right amount for the two of us. Pad Thai Noodles, Jade Curry with Beef and Vegetable Melange complimented each other perfectly and all three were excellent. “The sushi is good, the beer and wine selection are not, though the wine that *is* offered is high quality. Service was a bit slow this time around (sat at the sushi bar). The prices are ok, not notably inexpensive, but again, the sushi is decent.“

“Q Sushi is the best! I tried oysters for the first time ever, and they were SO good. I thought they might be weird, but I ended up loving them! The food here is amazing, and everything tasted so fresh. They even gave me a really yummy avocado sushi roll, which I loved, and a little orange snack that was so cute and sweet.

The workers were so nice, and my waitress, Sage, was awesome. She made me feel really special and made sure I had everything I needed. It was such a fun place to eat, and I can’t wait to go back again. you have to try this place.

My husband got the steak and eggs and the steak was so well seasoned and juicy and tender. Not overcooked or dry at all. He said he would get it again. Also the country potatoes that came with his dish were very flavorful and had caramelized onions .He got the cold brew coffee and also said he would come back just for the coffee.

I got a lavender latte and it was really good not too overly sweet or syrupy. I also got marys organic chicken jalapeño hash. It was delicious and I would be back for that as well.“
