“The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities.

What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob.

I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad,hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The hummus was packed with a garlicky punch.“

This goes for everywhere..Order ahead if you're trying to get food on your lunch break or before a movie, plan for delays in case they happen so you don't have to blame the business, speak up if you think your food is sitting on the TOGO rack, how ironic to find something in your food after eating the entire thing lol and..finally prices EVERYWHERE are going up, do your research...might have something to do with the demand for services after COVID and the CA law that passed raising minimum wage and therfore causing aaallllll the restaurants (including fast food and higher end places) to charge more ?‍♀️ If you can't afford it...stay home...
