I never thought I’d order anything other than their Godfather sandwich (tri tip) until I tried their meatball sub, now it’s pretty much a toss up between the two. “I recently dined at this Korean and Japanese restaurant and was genuinely impressed. While I'm not an expert on Korean cuisine, I do enjoy Korean American favorites like L.A. Galbi, Pajeon, and Bibimbap. This time, I decided to try something new and ordered the hot stone Dolsot Bibimbap. The dish comes with a partially cooked egg meant to finish cooking as you mix it in the hot stone bowl. The kind waitress took the time to explain this unique aspect to me, and I truly appreciated her guidance.

The Dolsot Bibimbap was an absolute delight. The portion was generous enough to satisfy two people or provide hearty leftovers for one. I wholeheartedly recommend this dish to anyone visiting.

For dessert, we indulged in the Black Sesame ice cream with matcha powder and bits of rasberry. It was so delectable that it disappeared in no time. Their selection of homemade ice creams includes delicious flavors like Yuzu, which I am eager to try on my next visit.

Overall, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise, and I look forward to returning. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and delightful desserts makes it a standout choice.

“Picked up dinner recently there and was impressed with the service given by Travis, the GM. He is affable, engaging, and clearly focused on making sure the business succeeds as he touts the $4 drafts. The dish I ordered was not meant to be spicy but apparently some cross-contamination happened because the food was just a touch heated. Not a problem for me, just unexpected. Also they were a bit shy on the amount of rice they were providing. Considering this is Hawaiian BBQ, rice is a big thing and typically served generously. A bit of a missed step there. Although I did not dine in, each time I've been there I have found the tables to be too sticky for my taste and the chairs are not super comfortable while waiting for my food. However even given that, I will return, especially if they bring Golden State Cider - Farms to Cider to the draft selection. Mahalo!“
