“Late on posting this review... My second time here and I brought my husband. It was his first time. We got the number three in the number six. #3 is two skewers of chicken breast, and #6 is 3 skewers...1 chicken breast, 1 beef, and 1 shrimp skewer (5 shrimps). The #3 I got with no rice and substituted steamed vegetables. I also got double salad instead of the fried side that it comes with. The #6 I got with brown rice. My husband absolutely loved it. I did too! Their teriyaki sauce is delicious. They're hot sauce is so freaking good too! I love the char flavor on the chicken, shrimp, and beef. My favorites are the chicken and shrimp. I don't do a lot of beef, but I wanted to try it and it was good. The steamed vegetables are delicious. Very filling plate even without the rice. We don't live too close, but not too far so I wanted the salad put in a separate container so it stayed cold/crisp. It was delicious... Everything was delicious! We will be repeat customers for sure!“

“Total hole in the wall on the east side of Simi and completely worth the visit. It’s probably best described as a hodgepodge of different Asian style dishes and the price is right on their rice bowls. I got their crispy salmon bowl this time but I haven’t had a bowl I didn’t like. Usually pretty fast and the people there are very sweet. Not pictured are the fish cake appetizer. So delicious and recommend you get them spicy!“

“Chicken katsu was great, big portion, tender chicken, came with a pretty and delicious salad and the curry was also very good. It was totally worth the price. Takoyaki was one of the best I've eaten. The portion is also generous and there were definitely big chunks of Tako inside the balls. Presentation was very pretty too. However my lemon roll was not as good as the other dishes. The spicy tuna was overly spicy and it took away the flavor of the entire dish. The size surprised me positively though, it was much bigger than rolls in other places. The fish was fresh and the proportion with rice was good too. I would definitely come back.“

“We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up.Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating. We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!“

“First time here and definitely coming back!To begin, the staff was extremely friendly from beginning to end. We didn't realize they were closed already (the conversation was so good and time flew) and they were so polite when they said they were closed already.Regarding the food, we ordered the pad thai with tofu, the green curry with soy pepper steak and their chocolate cake with coconut and berries. My goodness everything was better than we expected + great portions!!!Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant (the soy pepper steak is amazing!)Dietary restrictions: Ingredients listed out on the menu + they mention to note any dietary restrictions/food allergies.Parking: The restaurant is in a plaza which provides free 2-hour parking (lots of spots but since there are other shops in the parking lotKid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment“

“Most excellent. Service is amazing, warm, attentive, and friendly. They always check up and make sure your meal is exceptionalPlace is immaculately clean, and the atmosphere is chill and very comfortable. The food is absolutely top notch. Flavors and portions are are more than satisfying on every dish I've tried. I will note if you really like spicy you have to ask, and probably say extra spicy, they are cautious, but then again I am a maniac to some friends for the level of spicy I enjoy.I had the red curry and orange chicken today. The curry was just what the doctor ordered as I was just sick a few days prior, nice amount of chicken, they hook it up decent. Flavor was scrumptious especially poured over the brown rice. Just felt like ultra dank delicious nutrition in every biteThe orange chicken was some of the best I've had, very nice crunch, and the sauce made it taste like this divine candy, so sweet and crunch with super delicious bites of chicken, it was too good.In the past I've had the crying tiger, yellow curry, and chicken satay. Every dish has been fantastic, and satisfying. Trust, you will be pleased. The chicken sate had huge fat pieces of dank chicken compared to some places, and the peanut sauce was on point. Highly recommend the crying tiger as well. Everything here is fire, especially the staff ❤️“

I love grabbing the salmon ? bowl it’s very delicious for us seafood lovers and to add very healthy! Prices are great and wait time is not long at all. “I love ordering their taco combo and get the shrimp tacos. Their taco size are pretty big. It’s located in a busy plaza so parking can be hard during dinner or lunch. Sometimes they also have seasonal smoothies and they raste wonderful! The beef bulgogi bowl is not bad, but I expected for the serving to be a bit bigger.Parking: Parking can be limited during peak hours“

“Mee Dee Thai Kitchen operates out of this Northridge-based food hall and pumps out some really solid Thai dishes. Our favorites are the pork belly, crab fried rice, chicken satay, and pad khee mao. We've been less impressed with the pad thai and a few others, but overall Mee Dee is a really solid choice for Thai food. When we're in the mood for take out Thai food, Mee Dee Thai Kitchen is often one of the first to pop up.“

“I always loved the original location in Canoga Park. Since I heard of this new location in Encino, I had to give it a try. Food taste exactly the same which is a great thing with the great large portion size. Only difference is the location and venue itself. It's a lot newer, "more upscale". More of a pristine/clean appearance than the old one“

“Didn't disappoint. Good food.Update as of Feb 17, 2024.All I ever ordered is the RibEye bowl, and up to this point, it has never disappointed. What I received today was NOT Ribeye. It was some other subpar meat. Looks like it was a mixture bits of RibEye and some other meat thinking no one would notice. This tactic of trying to cheat me is very disappointing.“

“I stopped by Enjoy Bowl recently for lunch and had a good experience here. Ordered the Spicy Cheese Tonkotsu ramen and a Pork Bao Bun on the side. Service was good with the staff bringing the food to my table promptly and the ordering process was quick. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious, clean, & bright with plenty of booths and tables for seating. They serve a more simplified menu of Ramen, Bibimbap, & Kimbap dishes. My ramen was delicious with a good amount of heat as I chose very spicy for my heat level and the pork belly was soft and tender. The noodles were chewy and springy and there was a good amount of cheese mixed with the broth which made for a rich, creamy flavor. The egg was also perfectly cooked and it was quite an enjoyable bowl overall. The pork bao bun was delicious with a nice, thick piece of pork in the middle and the bun was soft and pillow like. Overall, this is a good spot if you are in the Northridge area and if you are craving Ramen or Bibimbap, I recommend stopping by!“
“I was there earlier this morning. Sweet couple helped me out with choosing my to go food. 1st timer but they made me feel at home with ease. Good choices of food like, liver steak, kare-kare, beef steak, longganisa, etcetera. They even offered me free soup. I couldn't wait to get home and taste it. It's not a disappointment at all. Yummy to the max.... I'll come back again“

“I'm giving this a 4 because it's good for Chinese fast food, probably more of a 3.5 but we can't do that, the food quality is not the best but the taste is good with everything being moist and juicy, I live off of Sepulveda and Devonshire so it wasn't something I will not be going to much because of distance but had to try it and was pleased with it.“

“Delicious my fiancee and I, were looking for good options for keeping up with this new healthier eating we are trying. 2 hours before closing we arrived after checking google maps, we were greeted with smiles and clear review of the menu. The chicken and steak picture on the wall first caught my eye which we ended up getting. Their dumplings which I don't normally eat were so tasty! The chicken and steak mixed with their terriyaki was really filling ?. Suffice to say we were pleased and very full. Good choice for flavor, quantity, and quality . ?“

“Picked the right place before a 3 day fast. Last meal @1:58pm Absolutely incredible, full of flavor and they brought the spice level up from the last time I came here. Definitely great customer service with a smile. The lobby was clean. It was busy inside but managed to find a seat. I know it's just rice but the rice I ate was made perfectly. Definitely give this location another chance if you rated it less than 5. They definitely deserve to be here.“

“I came over around the afternoon, after being done seeing customers walking out with stuffed bags. I finally decided to try the food. The staffs are really nice, the food is BUSSING.I would definitely recommend the teriyaki chicken, spicy beef, or black pepper chicken. For soup, it would be miso soup, egg drop soup, wonton soup, and the beef noodle soup. If you looking for a crispy snack i would say the cheese wontons. They're super crispy and flavorful. The cheese is warm and melts inside your mouth. I would say the best combo would be steamed rice , shrimp and veggies, with teriyaki chicken. The chili oil makes everything taste 10x better! Be sure to ask for extra or you'll regret it.THIS IS NOW MY GO-TO PLACE FOR LUNCH!Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly with kids! They also have a couple toy capsule machines for kids! ( tattoos, balls, mini keychains, fake gold accessories, and more! YOUR KID WILL ENJOY THIS PLACE!“

“This is my second time going here and my first time ordering the pho. I wasn't expecting anything authentic, you shouldn't either. It's a bit salty, and I think they add some nontraditional ingredients to it. However, the target audience are college students who are are craving some Asian brothy soups and I think it caters to just that! For me personally, my throat was hurting, so I really wanted some good Asian soup, and my throat wasn't hurting once while eating this! Additionally the prices are definitely reasonable for the large portions they provide. The service is really good, but you should also be prepared to try to get their attention because they are always busy.“

“What a wonderful little restaraunt. The star of the show is the quality food. It's definitely Fusion, it's not 100% authentic Thai but that's what makes it great. This is a regular once a month visit for me. My favorite menu item by far is the Garlic Filet and Green beans but all the Filet menu items are delicious. Their red curry dishes are also quite wonderful. Everything tastes fresh, is cooked to order. Some menu items are priced reasonably, others are a bit high but I've never left unhappy with the food.It is a small restaurant, usually quiet, service is like a family restaurant, They are polite, fast, and attenuative. If you're looking at the location and wondering if you should try it, definitely give it a shot. The only real negative about the place is the shared parking lot is really tight, often busy. I've always found a spot, but it is close quarters driving.Vegetarian options: They have many veggie only dishes and they'll make any meat based dish without the meat.“

“Enjoyed the all you can eat sushi option for two, for our anniversary dinner. Comes in three rounds, so be sure to check off as many options for each round. If unclear or questions, clarify with server. Easy. Loved everything we tried, both sashimi and sushi. The stars were the dynamite, baked scallops, and sushi tacos. Yumazing. We left stuffed, and waddled out to return and eat another day. Happiness ?“
“Stopped by and students are lining up to pick up their lunches here. Despite the line, staff is quick to serve. We got our order within five minutes. Got the California Steak Burrito which comes with tortilla chips. The burrito is packed with slices of steak and crispy french fries with the pico de gallo and sour cream to balance the heaviness of the dish. Did not even realize how fast I devoured it. The avocado salsa adds creaminess and acidity to make it taste even better. Definitely hope to come back.“

“Just visited on a whim, and this place exceeded my expectations. Customer service is impeccable. I never give reviews, but they made it impossible not to. Will be recommending this place to all my friends in the area. You won’t want to miss out on them!“

“Service was great and came out quick. The Thai tea was a10/10. The chicken in pho was a little over done but other than that really good. Also portion sizes were massive. I ate as much as I could and still had another big portion to take home. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. I love how they're open late too.“

“This is the best Chinese food in all of Sherman Oaks--and believe me, I have looked. I moved here from having spent my entire life being surrounded by good Chinese food, and I was depressed at the lack of options. Until I found Bamboo Cuisine. This place does Chinese food the right way, authentically and super fresh! It's a little bit more upscale/pricier than your local Chinese takeout spots--but the price you pay is absolutely reflected in the quality of the food. I love that it's also family-owned, and the servers actually speak Chinese (and obviously, English)--which is important to me. I came here on Lunar New Year once as I was feeling home sick, and was so touched at their good mood, and accommodation. They ended up sending me home with a complimentary quart of soup, which was so kind! My usual orders are Yang Chow Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Bamboo Chicken, Beef & Broccoli--but truly everything I've had here is delicious and authentic. I order from them at least once a week!“

“it's in yhe tile. my daughter said . they told you in the name .lol. good? yes. okay great? just ok huge portion? Okayyyyy (huge) One two Play Combo will feed two people I'm still eating my combo LOL O'kay! They only have six items to choose from the compound chicken was not spicy but tasty the spicy chicken was better tasting the best dish out of everything but not spicy the noodles are good and everybody seems to order them the most but for me they just felt a little oily but the flavor was good in the texture was good.. you're a young family feeding a family of a big number this is the place to go because you can cut that portion for the kids over and over and everybody will be full and happy orange chicken was a little super sticky tasty but you can't even recognize that it's chicken pieces still tasty just know what you used to. Beef and broccoli was a little Bland but the broccoli was fresh. Everybody orders everything Emily so I guess it's really about your taste buds. To play combo only $11 that's a great deal they move quickly even though the line is out the door there is a couple spots to sit start the plate and take the rest home. Dangers look crunchy and crispy and big but I did not get one so my final thought is the place is okay and the food was almost one flavor to me I bought two two-piece combos beef and broccoli orange chicken kung pao chicken and spicy chicken“

“All adequate asian buffet. Mostly focused on americanized chinese & japanese foods plus ordinary western dessert selections. We went for a weekday lunch. $19/person as of March 2024. Drinks are not included, but we don't drink soda anyway. For the price, food qualities are all adequate. There are many creative sushi rolls, though they share most components. There's no wow factors, but that's expected.Of those incredible options of foods, we tried about 60% of them. My favorite was a sweet sesame ball with red bean paste. My SO liked grilled scallop on the shell. The day we went was unusually rainy. There were no chaotic kids, no spilled foods on the floor, or piles of dirty dishes on table. It was clean. It looks like they only take visa/master but no amex.“

“The true star of Sushi Nishi is, of course, the food. The sushi here is a work of art. The fish was incredibly fresh and the rice was perfectly seasoned, striking a harmonious balance that showcased the chef's expertise. Each piece of sushi melted in my mouth, leaving me craving for more. The menu also offered a variety of traditional and innovative rolls, which catered to both sushi purists and those looking for a unique twist on classic flavors.I also had the opportunity to try the sashimi, which was as equally outstanding as the sushi. The slices of raw fish were expertly cut and the presentation was simply exquisite. Additionally, the miso soup and seaweed salad were flavorful complements to the main course.“

“I have been to just about every teriyaki chicken bowl place from here to Portland and this is by far the best. If you've ever seen the anime food wars every bite is like the scenes when one of the judges takes a bite of the dish and they nut so hard there clothes explode off of them. Also they price is insane for how good it is. I love this place and make sure to get it as much as possible whenever I'm in the la area“
“All the reviews about "soggy rice" or "bland flavor" are straight up wrong; in my opinion this place is WAY more flavorful than panda express AND the portions are huge. I've ordered almost everything off the menu and have gone to this location since I was a little kid and they do NOT disappoint! Definitely my top Chinese place. Not to mention their prices are very reasonable and they have an app that gives you about 10% back. Crazy good.“

Lots of extra condiments on the plate to add to your bowl. All in all, a wonderful dinner experience!!!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a small ramp into the restaurant.“

“Cute lil establishment run by two Korean elders making bomb rice bowls As you can see in the many photos posted here, the bowls are great quality, thoughtfully made, and right-sized (so upsize if you are very very hungry).Gotta just love these mom-and-pops who put such love into their cooking and craft. And, the two Korean elders running the show are so so nice.Fried Shrimp Bowl : Crispy shrimp bits, savory and not too oily. On top of a bed of fresh, hot rice. Thoughtfully topped with some kimchi, garnish, and their house sauce.Mandu (Korean Dumplings, fried): Great side with substantially filled dumplings fried to a crisp perfection. If you're craving bulgogi or Korean flavors, come and try this place.
