“Totally amazed by the great selection and quality of the food at lunch buffet. It was really good. They had chicken biryani, goat curry, chicken tikka massala, tandoori, chicken and so many other dishes. They also Chai tea and a good selection of sweet desserts. A gem of a spot and I'm glad I chanced upon it. This will be my go to for Indian buffet, authentic. Service was top notch too!!“

“This is our family 'go to' for delicious Indian food served in a small, popular restaurant. If anyone comes to visit LA this is where we take them. The food is to die for, the perfect balance of flavors and portion size. The menu is large enough there is something for everyone be they veggie, lamb, chicken, or just like rice and naan (like our kid). They take their time making the meals and it really shows. Probably underpriced for the quality of the experience. Lots of street and metered parking. Bottom line? Masala House is where you want to go for Indian.Kid-friendliness: Have excellent fruit drink options for kids, very family friendly place, always feel welcomed.“

“I've been seeing this place for it's great deal on a lunch buffet so finally got the opportunity to come. It came out to $15 per person for the buffet and it was pretty good for the price! Fresh naan, garlic or plain, is served directly to your table. Good selection but I do wish there were more paneer options. I would recommend this place for a quick and filling lunch!“

“This place was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The lunch buffet was excellent... authentic flavors. The tandoori chicken was super tender and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Delhi Palace to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine.“

“Food was amazing!!! Best Indian food I have ever had, and I've tried many places in the past. I'm so happy this restaurant opened up in Simi Valley- definitely our family to go place. We ordered chicken masala, paneer pakora, garlic naan, and veggie biryani. So delicious, can't wait to try other things on the menu next time.“

“My family and I came for lunch today to celebrate my dad's birthday. The staff was warm and courteous. The owner even came to our table. The food was delicious and not over spiced or greasy. We all ate from the vegetarian buffet, with unlimited visits. Lassie on tap. The ambience was bright and very pleasant. I love the green decor, you felt like you were eating healthy food. All of the items in the buffet were in copper pots. Very cool! The menu was pretty diverse and they were a lot of things that I will go back to order. Huge parking lot in the front.“

“Customer service alone brings this place to 5 stars. The owner is a sweetheart and checked in on us throughout dinner and gave us the best recommendations. The food was incredibly tasty, I had the vegetable biryani and vegetable samosa and both were so good. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The place is clean and the decor is so cute. Excited to come back and try more food!“

“I wish I could give them 4.5 stars but it's not an option. And let's be real- there is zero ambiance here. I wouldn't want to dine in. But the owner is super friendly and the food is delicious. And that's what it's all about right? My family ordered a few mains, plus apps and sides and every single thing was tasty. At first I thought the portions were a little small for the money, but those containers held a lot more than they looked! Even without ordering a ton we had a couple of small lunches the next day. I suggest ordering from the Yelp menu which is much more extensive than the website menu. We will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys the flavors of India!“

“We checked out this spot for the first time, and it was awesome! Their North Indian Punjabi food is amazing, and their prices are reasonable. We opted for a combo with three veg options, and let me tell you, each curry was bursting with flavor. It's got that spicy kick, but it's incredibly tasty. This place might not be fancy, but they've got everything from street food to Indian sweets and combo specials. Plus, they serve up some homemade Indian snacks too. We're definitely going back for more. If you're a fan of North Indian cuisine, this spot is a must-try!“

“I love this place as it serves vegetarian food and when you order, they make it fresh and it is served to you piping hot, just like Indian food should be served. My favorite is the Aloo Paratha, Daal Makhani, the Pindi Chana. My wife loves the exotic Makke Ki roti and sarson ka saag, Corn Roti, and Mustard Gravy although I am not a big fan of that. The ambiance could be better especially when you want to take guests and visitors to eat, and so one star minus for that. They give out free hot Indian tea which could be heavy on te sugar but on cold days it is wonderful. We usually order food and take away and the quantity is so generous that it lasts at least three means. totally worth the money and a must visit if you are in Canoga Park“

“Absolutely love this place! The customer service is amazing, they are so sweet especially our waitress Mish. The food is wonderful, fresh, and the environment is immaculate! I’ve tried multiple Indian buffets and this is by far my favorite! Definitely give this place a try.“
“I've traveled throughout India and have to say, they serve very Authentic Southern Indian food here and what I'd call the best dosa and idli I've ever tried in LA! I recommend their thali plate lunch special (the idea behind a thali is to offer all the 6 different flavours of sweet, salt, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy on one single plate-wiki), tofu 65, and their dosa and idli (the probiotics within are great for calming an upset stomach!). In addition, the service is personable and genuine! IG: kay_okay_eat“

“Hands down my favorite Indian restaurant anywhere in US. The only other Indian restaurants in my personal experience that compare are in UK. London and Birmingham. Again based on my personal experience. Super friendly staff. And food is fantastic. Always consistent. Excellent food and service. To go or dine in. To go orders are very well packaged. They are very friendly and generous. I used to go to another place next door. But since I discovered this exact Anarbargh I don’t go anywhere else to get my Indian food fix. Everything and anything I ordered has always been spot on. Usually go to’s arechicken tikka masala, shrimp tikka masala, shrimp tandoori, fish tandoori, sag paneer, paneer tandoori, shrimp biryani and few other things. I always different stuff too. And never had anything I didn’t love!“

“I've been going for years. Food is consistently good, and I love being able to point and pick dishes based on how they "look" vs a name. Many vegetarian and vegan choices that change daily. They have also dosas and bhatura bread freshly made. The service is "eh?" Most of the guys are not too friendly and perhaps it's a "we pretend to work and they pretend to pay us" scenario, I don't know. The older guy will at least offer a smile. The place is pretty dumpy and hasn't been redone in many years but that doesn't bother me. The food doesn't seem all that hot either? At the hospital there's a guy with a thermometer checking the temps of the trays in the cafeteria, but not so much here.Still, if that doesn't bother you, there's a world of reasonably-priced delicious Indian veg food here that you should really try.“

“Really good Indian restaurant that had all the classics. Although slightly less flavorful than I would have liked - it may have been my own fault for ordering a lower spice level.I had the cheese garlic naan and Chicken curry, both of which were delicious. The service was very fast and there was not much of a wait to get seated. This is a great restaurant to get good Indian food if you don’t want to wait too long.“

“Bollywood Indian Restaurant is home to my favorite Indian food in all of LA! My partner and I go here once a week and every time it is as delicious as ever. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is absolutely incredible!Nazirul, one of the employees, is the sweetest person! He knows our order by heart and always makes sure everything is to our liking! He really makes the experience a 10/10.The Chana Masala is the best dish there, paired with garlic & cheese naan - it's the best meal to exist! I urge everyone to try this restaurant as it will become your go to!Dietary restrictions: I'm vegetarian and find it easy to order here.Parking: Parking is great - either on ventura blvd. or in the back of the restaurant.“

“This restaurant is so good and the staff is so kind. I always get the Saag Paneer and something else random from the menu and have never been disappointed. The chai is nice and spicy and you can get it with or without sugar. The garlic naan is perfectly chewy and fresh. Will be coming here for years!“
“The food was amazing! Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Extensive vegan and vegetarian offerings, and well made. The food was very flavorful and not heavy at all. It was so good I forgot to take photos, so an update will be needed soon next time I order!“
“The place is still open! From what I understand they converted the space to an event venue but they still accept takeout orders! You just have to call in advance to ask what times they'll be able to accept orders but the food is sooo worth it. My faves are the baingan bharta and malai kofta, their naans are also delicious and very generously sized.“

“A true gem in the valley. Chef Wongie makes the absolute best comfort food this side of the city. The decor is quirky and personal to the owner and it reminds you that the best food comes from small businesses like this one that are getting harder and harder to find. Definitely give it a try.“

“Pretty good food, I liked the Thali with Karahi Paneer, Vegetable Soup and Vegetable Biryani. The food is flavorful no doubt about it, goes to show how good Chef Patel is and he’s been in business for quite sometime now. Portions are good enough and I also liked that you could order the same Entrees as a “side” within reasonable amount. It’s right across of Whole Foods so parking would be validated if you happen to do grocery shopping after your meal, which you might like as an idea, given the food will appreciate some good walk after.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Soup, Vegetable thali with 1 Entree comes with Samosa, Dal, Rice, Salad, Gulab JamunParking: Nearest would be the road side parking spots, free after 8pm which also means it’ll be difficult to find those spots right after 8. Better option is the whole food parking lot, specially if you happen to do some groceries after mealsWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“

“Loved the food here! I normally don't like Indian food (mainly curry) but these dishes made me change my mind. The rice and chicken combo were delicious especially when mixing them together. The garlic naan bread was also made fresh and came with 4 large pieces. These dishes are definitely shareable. The service was great. The server was not that talkative but came to check on us a few times. It's also decorated nicely and gave me an Indian vibe. Will be back!“

“I recently placed a to-go order for chicken 65 biryani, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. Despite the unassuming atmosphere, the flavors of the biryani were truly outstanding. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness that left me thoroughly impressed. Not only was the food a winner, but the service also deserves a special mention. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared accurately and ready on time. It's refreshing to find a place that excels in both taste and customer service. If you're considering a visit, don't be fooled by the modest ambiance; the real star here is the food. Based on my wonderful experience, I can confidently say that I will be a returning customer. This hidden gem has won me over with its incredible food and impeccable service.“

“Best Indian food (especially their vegetarian menu) in Los Angeles. Their flavors are so rich and unlike any of the dime a dozen Indian restaurants in LA. This may be due to their North Indian recipes that differ from the common South Indian flavors that are in most restaurants. Their food is simply incomparable and I’ve grown up eating Indian food from all the local hot spots. If you’re unsure of where to go- you MUST try this place.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Korma is a must!“

“Great food & great service, love the place too. Been coming here since I was a little kid. They are pretty inconsistent when it comes to spice though, so I typically get it medium and get the hot sauce for extra heat if needed. Great place though.“

“I have eaten here and taken out many many times. The food is fresh and the flavors are indescribable. Every time I take friends there they rave and they go back themselves.I took my kids and grandkids (ages 2-7) sevearl months ago and today they called and the KIDS asked my daughter if they could get the " Indian food" and bring it to grandpa's .Thanks Shalimar, Dr.Harris“
“Great service. When you come in, you instantly get greeted and seated and asked if you are ordering or there for the lunch buffet. We always go for the buffet, then you are asked about your preference for Naan. You are free to go about getting your own plate and packing it at your own desire. you can always get another plate to get more food, and don't worry, they refill the food quite frequently and quickly when any of it goes low. The food is great. Everything tastes fresh. The goat is amazing; it is well cooked and does not have game smell to it. One thing I would wish for, is some Sagg without the Paneer. Just straight Sagg would be nice, for those with Lactose problems :) but it is nice that there is a decent variety for those with Lactose problems. Definitely come and try their lunch buffet, it will get you addicted! Come once, and come back always again!“

“I ordered the goat Biryani an it was actually really good, it was spicy and left my mouth wanting more because of the spice and the tender goat, I will be going back and hope the rest of the food measures up to the first, this place was a pizza place In the past and had some good times there in the 80s but sadly those times are gone, hopefully the food is here measures up to the dish I had.“
