The Arroz con gandules was savory and comforting, just like homemade. The Pernil had the ideal amount of seasoning, each bite tender and delicious. Now, let's talk about the Plátanos maduro - they were larger than the ones I usually find, which was a pleasant surprise! “I’m so happy Froggy’s reopened - it’s always been my favorite patio in LA! I love all the hummingbirds and looking at nature - I feel I’m far away from the City/Valley - it’s so relaxing! The salmon tacos are awesome and freshly made guacamole doesn’t disappoint 👍🏻 The tortillas are lovingly made by hand and are fresh. One of the most soulful places in Los Angeles- great little bar and historic background. DONT go as I love the cozy authentic vibe - just kidding - I highly recommend this restaurant It would make a great venue for special occasions (this is unsolicited - I just can’t rave enough and want them to flourish- Covid was tough on them like many businesses) Lastly, everyone working there are so friendly and accommodating 5 stars ⭐️😄“

“Delicious hot food, refreshing drinks, and fresh papusas. Friendly, fast service. Some entres tend to be very light on salt. A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!“

“This restaurant has the most delicious homemade food I tried. My wife loves the posole and I love the Menudo. We try to go there every weekend to eat some of their delicious food they make. I recommend it 100%.“

I had Baleada and pollo con tajadas, baleada was in point that tortilla was well made, us we know that is the secret of the baleada La Tortilla. El pollo con tajadas very good presentation. “My 1st time ever. This place is 3 mins away (on foot) from FlyAway bus station. I had awesome breakfast here 4a reasonable price. They've a few large screen TV showing soccer etc.
I'd recommend this place to eat if ur running early for LAX and don't want to spend crazy amount for airport food“
