“Love this place. The special bowl is a great deal and is only available for a limited time. Second choice is the sushi burrito with salmon. We come here once a week. Always fresh and delicious. Staff are very nice. Only complaint is that napkins are kept behind the counter and I always have to ask for additional napkins.“

“I didn't get the owners name, but she was out working just like anyone else would and she was so nice and inviting, which is rare these days. The food is excellent! Extremely fresh tasting and they have some unique sauces that other poke shops don't! Definitely give this place a chance if you haven't!“

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

Got a 2 protein poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon. I asked for half rice and half salad, but wow there's a LOT of rice. My brother didn't mind since he likes rice, but I was a bit peeved. (EDIT: Oh, also the poke bowl is drowned in sauce. My brother loves eel sauce so he was glad, but just letting other customers know!)

The staff behind the counter was nice and was patient with me while I was asking my brother for the toppings and sauces that he wanted in his poke bowl. Sorry I took so long, at least there was no one in the store!

“This is some of the best sushi that I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot, because I spent many years living in Japan. The focus is on quality. It’s not cheap, nor should it be. You are paying for high-grade, quality, and freshness that is hard to find, especially in this area. I tested them out with the few items that you see pictured here and I’m definitely going to use them for an upcoming dinner party. I really like having an option like this available in Diamond Bar. There is really nothing else like it, honestly. Will be back again soon.“

“I live about an hour and a half away from this location . I was on a road trip and stopped in just to see if they had a restroom and ended up getting food. The girl (I think her name was Krysta ? I'm sorry I wish I could remember)working the night shift on Saturday 10/25/25 was so kind and so helpful . I had never had a poki bowl before and she helped me pick out my food choices with a colossal amount of patience . It was so delicious and I have been craving it ever since I got home. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be coming in to place another order ♥️“

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

I've eaten inside a few times too and the ambiance is fine. Definitely recommend if you are so the area“

Very good portions at Mr. Poke. I got 3 scoops of salmon for my half brown rice, half salad poke bowl, with all toppings, and all sauces. It was actually a lot of food and I could only finish half. I didn't want to leave it for the next day, so my mom ate the other half. I guess since I got it via Doordash, I did not get the miso soup.

“Some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve had in the area. Not only is the food unreal but the amount of fish they give you for such a good price is insane. Any other poke place would give you a fraction of the food for the same price. Can’t wait to keep coming here“

J Sushi knows how to do it right. We stopped in for lunch when we got to California and it was so good we came back the next day. We tried a few rolls, nigiri, udon, and some of their fried options. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Clean, balanced, and delicious from start to finish.

The Vibe:
Casual, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner. Simple décor, friendly faces, and great food which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood sushi place.

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. “Out of every single sushi I have tried, not a single one fails to disappoint me. Their crab meat is the best and it does not get better than theirs. Such low prices for VERY high quality and savory foods. Their poki bowls are the best too. Hot warm rice mixed with fresh cold seafood goes perfect with any weather. Especially when it is so savory and refreshing. The prices are shocking for how high quality their food is. Regarding prices, this place has the best seafood out of every single seafood place I have tried in all of Orange and in general. The variety of food is good, the small place is cute, I love the decorations, they are welcoming and their lighting is pretty, it is cozy. The people are always so kind when taking your order. When there is no one, your food comes quickly, very fast for the amount of workers.“
