“’m always looking for some place different to eat, to stay, to do, when we travel. I’m not sure how I even found this restaurant but I’m sure part of the attraction was a black owned business in Aspen. MAWA’s Kitchen is like striking gold in the mountains of Colorado. Every dish was excellent, from the Brussel Sprout Caesar to the Two Roots Sautéed Greens, pure heaven in your mouth. For our entrees Conrad chose the Red Snapper. It was served on top of some Zaalouk, which is a Moroccan salad of cooked eggplant and tomatoes. Delicious. I chose the West African Gumbo. The flavors meshed together perfectly and had a little spicy Andouille sausage to kick it up a notch. The servers were great and they even gave me a dessert for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this for a great dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for brunch today, another excellent meal. Got to meet Mawa. Such a great place. And the servers are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️“

“A nice option in the heart of Aspen with a Tex/Mex menu. By Aspen standards quite reasonably priced, large bar and dining area and friendly knowledgeable staff. One of the largest tequila menus I have ever experienced.“

“One of the best Italian restaurants in Aspen!
I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. They were kind enough to sit the group down even when almost making it a little late. But left a big tip for that. Chris was an awesome waiter!!!! Attentive and made sure we were doing great. Everyone was super kind. The cocktails were spot on! The brunello was out of this world! The food was excellent. It tasted phenomenal!!!! I love Italian food and this was definitely one of the best in town. Restrooms were clean, average. Location where it's easy to find and get to.“

“For a place at the bottom of a mountain this place has the best bar food in town (not exaggerating). Awesome atmosphere and a great place to grab a drink post skiing. Food is also phenomenal. The bartenders are super nice and the service is great. Highly recommend if in “

“What a fabulous new restaurant. Can’t wait to come back here for a cozy dinner in winter. The staff was very accommodating when my friend and I joined the family for after dinner drinks. Felt like I had been transported to the alps without leaving Colorado. I hope I can get a reservation in the future. Love the vibe, can’t wait to come back soon.“

“As far an on-mountain “fast-food” goes, this place is up there! The Apple Strudel, which was highly recommended, was good, but could have been warmer. I had the hot-dog, very good and bigger than a normal hot-dog. Staff were friendly and the service was fast. Hard to find seating during prime lunch hours, but we managed to find a good seat. Views are fantastic.“

“A real bakery. Excellent fresh bread & pastries made on site!!! Good selection.
Service is just OK. Not enough ppl at the order counter to help & the employee didn't listen to the order correctly, so we wound up with sweet croissants instead of plain.
Feta/Spinach croissant was superb!“

“Craving some spicy food and decided to give this place a try! While the flavors aren’t the most authentic Szechuan, it’s definitely worth it for this town. The dishes hit the spot with the right amount of heat, and portions are generous. A great choice when you’re in the mood for bold flavors and something different.
Started Lazi Chicken ( Crispy Chicken with chilies ) and Chill Oil steamed wontons ( pork) as appetizers.
The Szechuan Hot Oil Steak was especially tasty — the rich flavors pair perfectly with rice
I usually eat pretty spicy, so I’d rate their “3 chili” spice level about a 4/10 for me. But for my friend who doesn’t eat much spice, it was more like a 9/10 — so it really depends on your tolerance.“

“I'm primarily giving this restaurant stars due to mandatory 22% tip. I dislike mandatory tips. It would be more honest to increase the menu prices, but of course, that would lead to people thinking the prices were a bit high... which probably isn't true, Aspen is expensive.“
