First time dining and delish! We ordered 4 different tapas. Each one had amazing flavors. We had the meatballs, croquettes, mussels and patatas. Yum!
My friends and I had a great dinner. The tapas and entrees -olives, goat cheese with cherries, fried artichokes, tuna tartare, cauliflower steak, and salmon- were delicious and perfect sizes for sharing. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant has a cool, lively vibe, with tasteful Spanish decor, and a large patio. Highly recommend for an evening of sangrias, excellent food, and good conversation.
I have been to at least 20 tapas bars in Spain this year, and I will tell you that although some of the dishes at Gemini are traditional, others are not. To me, that is great. Good chefs try different things and move beyond the basic. However, the patatas bravas hit the traditional bell hard with creamy innards and a delicious aioli. After ordering the tortilla, the waitress told me that it would take a little while because they made them to order. What? It was quite a bit different...read full review
