“Good place, among the best we have been to in Boulder. The food is very delicious and has good prices.
Only one thing for the place, we sat at the table facing the wall near the exit and the wall was very dirty! I think those details can be corrected“

“We went for the Takoyaki, it was definitely some of the best we've had in the Denver area. Seemed to be deep fried rather than pan fried, but still a very good center with plenty of octopus. The sauce was also pretty accurate.
The only thing to consider is that the serving is only 4 for around $10 so 20% or so above some of the other Takoyaki offerings in the Denver area.“

“I went on a Tuesday night. Good crowd for midweek The Chicken Sandwich was probably one of the best I have ever had. Tender chicken, perfectly cooked. Lily waited on us. She was professional, polite and made for extremely enjoyable dining experience. Bartender made killer dirty martinis. I highly recommend. Fantastic staff“

“I wish this existed when I lived in Louisville, I would have gone all the time! A quick trip back had me driving down Main St so I stopped to reminisce and have a quick bite. Service was prompt and friendly, the chilaquiles were delicious and spicy, and the Bloody Mary was good although- it could have been bigger and the coconut shrimp that was in it was raw. If I go back to Louisville, I’ll go back!“

“This is a sweet little gem hidden in a strip mall in Niwot. Simple cafe seating under giant cottonwoods makes for great ambiance.
For appetizers, we started with the corn ribs. They had a beautiful sauce on them and the presentation was both beautiful and inventive. We followed that with a local salad that was okay. For the height of Summer, the greens were a little tough and it lacked the abundance that you associate with August. The gazpacho was excellent.
For the main course, I had the steak frites. The steak was perfectly done with a compound butter on top. The cut of meat was tender and I'm guessing about 4 oz. The fries were disappointing and a little oil sodden. Not horrible but the fryer should have been turned up a little higher. My friend has the crab cakes that were good but not exceptional.
I was a little curious to the claim that they make 90% of their menu source locally. Being August, I would have expected much more summer vegetables and less seafood on the menu.
For dessert, we had the chocolate tart. The filling was excellent, an excellent body and not too sweet, finished with a dusting of maldon sea salt. The tart shell was a little heavy and not a good match for the amazing filling.
For drinks, I had an old fashioned and my friend had a mezcal drink, both of which were really done well. Compliments to the bartender.
The service was excellent and we had a new hire waiter named Ty who was attentive and personable.
The crowd was interestingly all women, and I'm guessing mostly niwot locals in their 50s and '60s. Conversation was lively and wine was flowing.
I like the idea of fine dining in Niwot and will definitely dine there again. Local restaurants who make good food and support local farmers deserve our support. I highly recommend checking it out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a wheelchair ramp.“

“First time dining and delish! We ordered 4 different tapas. Each one had amazing flavors. We had the meatballs, croquettes, mussels and patatas. Yum!“
