“We had such a lovely time at Spuntino. The service was excellent and all of the food was delicious. We ordered the Capellini Aglio e Olio and the Lasagna. Both had an Indian spice flavor to them which was great. Ordered the Arancini as well which were very good and they were even kind enough to bring us an order of Focaccia on the house because “it’s just too good to pass up”. They were right! Will definitely be back.“

“AMAZING!! From one Michelin-recommended restaurant to another, this was a phenomenal experience. Nick took such great care of us from start to finish. He was so knowledgeable about the wine and food, so attentive and personable. The food was delicious, creative, gastronomy-inspired but not gimmicky. Flavorful and perfectly portioned tasting menu. Will return!“

“My wife and I had an amazing time at Tavernetta! Each dish was fantastic, expertly matched with outstanding cocktails that truly stood out. Tavernetta is a must-visit for an unparalleled dining experience because of its unwavering commitment to excellence in cuisine and beverages. The service is second to none—great job! I look forward to coming back!“

“Sweet neighborhood spot with a comfortable and welcome vibe. This was our first time here and our order was for pick up. Our order was fresh, delicious and the staff was delightful while we waited. We will definitely be returning for a dine in experience!“

“Good food, relaxed atmosphere (jeans are okay) and decent service. The menu prices are good and the Mexican and Italian dish offerings mean that you can bring those crazy, non-steak lovers along with you. On the bad side 3 out of 4 steaks we ordered came out OVERcooked (we didn't say anything and they never asked, so I don't know what their response would have been).“

“I absolutely love spending time here! The staff (Tim, Sybil, Devi, Sarah, Ash, and others!) are all wonderful and make you feel at home. The food is good, the happy hour is such a good deal, and the atmosphere is so friendly! This has become my favorite neighborhood hangout, and I know I’m not alone.“

“Amazing place for celiac / gluten free. They prepare and bake in a separate area for allergy. Loved the pizza crust! It is really soft and light, totally worth trying. We had the wings, a gf pizza, then Nutella pie. Make sure to get the garlic Parmesan sauce! Definitely coming back to this place if in Denver again.“

“The first time I heard of them was from their catering for a charity benefit that I attended. For me that's always a plus that they are involved in their local community, but their bruschetta was really good. I've ordered delivery since and it was also really good. I'll have to dine in at some point.“

“The food is amazing! I always get the gnocchi but i've tried other dishes including the seafood pasta and pizzas and everything is so tasty and cooked perfectly! I love the service style, they have a bar, a gelato station, and even sell authentic italian ingredients to take home!“

“Every course of the meal was delicious and all offerings were appealing on this Denver Restaurant Week menu. The bread was fresh with a crunchy crust. The burrata was generous, flavorful and attractively presented. The minestrone had the right amount of spice and the pasta in it was al dente. The eggplant parmesian was stacked high with a generous amount of traditional red sauce. The limoncello cake was light and lemony and paired well with a double espresso. Can't say enough about the totality of enjoyment in this experience.“

“Happened upon this place by random after craving some brick oven pizza. The food was phenomenal, incredibly delicious and the service was equally as great. We had the peperocini pizza and chicken pesto sandwich and they were both to die for. We got a side of their house made spicy ranch and that was also incredibly good with the pizza. We will definitely be back“

“Voghera Ristorante & Apericena is the only place in Denver where my husband & I can reexperience the kind of dining we enjoyed—no, loved—throughout northern Italy, in Milan and in the Piemonte wine region last year. Once again, last night we thoroughly appreciated the menu choices (many more choices than other restaurants offer during Denver Restaurant Week), the presentation of our selections, the amount of food provided in each course (more than ample), the timing (appropriate brief pauses between courses to digest, enjoy our wine, and anticipate the next course), the professional service provided by our server, the food runner/presenter (the owner with his energetic demeanor and Italian accent!), and prompt clearing of used items by a third person. Where else in Denver, at this price point, does your server bring an arranged tray of silverware to your table to replace any you have used or to provide you with the correct knife for your main course? We were thrilled with our wine choice—an Arneis from Piemonte—that complemented our meal selections perfectly. If you have traveled to places where food is treated with respect, you know the joy of experiencing the terroir of the area you are in. We feel this is what owner Marco & his team are providing to us in Denver. I would like to suggest that people who choose to come to this restaurant try to adopt an attitude of dining & savoring rather than just eating & drinking. Four at a table in our lovely back dining room were loud and raucous as would be appropriate in a sports bar but not in this setting. Their behavior affected the dining experiences of everyone else in the room. If you allow a dining experience here to transport you to northern Italy, you will feel the price is more than worth it.“

“5/5 atmosphere5/5 service4/5 foodWe shared the burrata, the crab bisque, and egg eggplant parm. Everything was good, nothing was great. The only thing I would order again would be the burrata, but that’s hard to mess up. The crab bisque was especially disappointing. Not creamy at all and hardly any bisque? It was weird for an $18 soup. We were so excited for the eggplant and it was solid but nothing to talk about. All in all a nice experience and we would go back, but probably not anytime soon.“

“Do not judge a book by its cover. This is the best Italian I’ve had in my life. The owner and his wife are spectacular hosts. You will never find anything like this place in Colorado. I’ve been living in CO for 11 years, originally from NY. I will never need to go to NY again for spectacular Italian. Clam and shrimp oreganata, penne vodka, eggplant, chicken franchese…off the charts.“

“Lovely and knowledgeable staff. It's a cute space with a beautiful patio. It is tucked into a cool neighborhood. The food is good and expensive for the whole experience and quality. They are in competition with many other "new American" farm-to-table type spots in Denver.“

“We tend to visit Postino a lot, it's next to Trader Joes and where in Denver can you find a $6 glass of wine?! Happy Hour at Postino is the bomb! We always order the shrimp scampi because it's the best we have had in Denver and then we try one new thing. Many of the breadboards are delicious, but I like lighter fare. We ordered the Ceasar salad this time and it was a proper Ceasar with anchovy dressing. A perfect late lunch snack for two.“

“Some of the most delectable food I have ever been allowed the privilege to consume in my long lofty years. I really enjoyed the incredible and impeccable food that has been so graciously served to me at this establishment. The service was good, but unfortunately, they were slow and inconsiderate. “Excellent vibes and even better food. I really enjoyed this spot. My wife and I stopped by for some appetizers and dinner after some drinks a block away. The service was very good. The restaurant is quite small so be prepared for cross talk and in that sense a euro vibe. Otherwise I thought everything I ordered was well cooked and very fresh. The quality of ingredients was another factor in my five star review. Overall a very good experience.“

“Overall had a great experience! Jason was our server, he took excellent care of us & gave good recommendations. House-made mozzarella was delicious. And they even gave us two cannolis, but only charged us for one! Only slight downside was that the Crab Agnolotti was a little too salty.“

“I’m highly impressed with my whole experience dining in last night! Their service was amazing and they had multiple servers checking in with us at the bar while we were waiting to be seated. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. We had the burrata, seasonal pizza with hot honey and prosciutto, and braised short rib lumache. Their drinks were also exquisite. They made the experience very luxurious and it’s now one of my favorite restaurants.“

“Gargaro’s is an awesome no frills old school Italian bakery and sandwich shop. The sub sandwiches are huge, especially for the price. If you get the grinder be sure to add capicola for a little extra! All of the breads, pastries and cookies are amazing. They also have an assortment of freshly made pastas, sauce, sausage, pizza dough, sausage and pepper cannolis, cream filled cannolis. This place is legit!“

“Wow! Who knew there was such an authentic Italian venue in Denver. Homemade artisan pasta with creative sauces and entrees. Try the bolognese as it is one of a kind. The wood-fired pizza reminded us of what we had in Venice, IT! The bar and wine list is loaded with special finds. My wife found the Paloma cocktail to be fabulous. I fell in love with wine list especially. If you’re in Denver this is a MUST! Cheers.“

“We came here for a quick bite as a group and we really enjoyed it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We ended up sitting outside (it is a first-come-first-serve) and the staff was really helpful to set us up with the heaters and made sure we are taken care of.We ordered a variety of pizzas and really not a single one of them disappointed. The combos might sound crazy and unusual but they really work so i'd encourage anyone to try.We also ordered a few of the oysters and we loved them. They have a variety of types there and will make sure to run your through them. We really enjoyed all of them and the team was divided on favorites.Would definitely come back for more bites!“

“Ambiance: this is a cute little hidden gem. The seating is small but offers a family feel. Nice touches with family photos on the walls. You can make reservations and I recommend since it is a small family locally owned restaurant. Service: staff has always been lovely to us. Helps make decisions on what we want with asking us questions what we like and don't like flavor wise. Makes wine suggestions. Food: you can't beat their in house made pasta and sauces. You can see right into the kitchen and watch them make the food. They have lovely dessert as well. Being Italian this reminds me of home, my mom, and my grandmother. Nostalgic feeling with great tasting food. The food is priced right.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.“

“If you walked into this place, it doesn't seem like you would get a good meal at all but boy does the food make up for the lack of ambiance. We loved having our house salad, which was perfectly coated with dressing, served in a chilled bowl. The drinks were not watered down and at a reasonable price. The entrees were perfectly done and the right portion and they had a perfect limoncello. Service was pleasant and not too distant nor overbearing. We'll be back for sure! One suggestion- get better forks to reflect the quality of the meals. Our forks wrapped in a paper napkin was a disappointment to us on what we're high caliber entrees and salads.“

“Don't waste your life like I did mine, go here. I have lived around the corner from this place for ages! Tried it for the first time today and now I am in deep regret for not having gone sooner. Can I give 6 stars?Took home some soup, olives, meats and cheese. The Pasta Fagioli soup is divine. The broth is flavorful while the beans and pasta melt like butter. “We went to Trattoria Stella last night for my Sweet Heart's birthday. We had never been there before. Our waitress, Ashley, was sweet and attentive, and helped us through our choices expertly, with warmth, and charm. The very first bite of my meal, Tomato Vodka Cream, was Delicious! Each flavor played well with each other, complemented each other, and combined a taste that was pure and purposeful. I could tell that the chef knew what he/she wanted this dish to taste like! The sausage did not overpower the meal, it simply stood quietly in the background, allowing every taste to shine! Again, the sensation was like tasting a dish that was meant to taste exactly like this! Each bite was rich, warm, full-bodied, yet delicate and subtle! I savored each bite! I could tell the chef Knows Taste! When we were deciding whether to have desert, Ashley mentioned the desert chef/owner was passionate about her deserts, so I told her to ask the desert chef to give me her best shot! Never in the World would I have ordered Bread Pudding! But the first bite enchanted me with warm rich inviting flavors that were meant for each other! I can't wait to go back and sample another meal AND desert! For a very reasonable price, we had a delightful experience; from the engaging waitress, to the perfect meal, and the surprising desert! Why have I waited long?“

“We came here because my friend recommended it for us all to meet up at this restaurant. Since she's a local, I always take recommendations from ppl. It used to be a gas station, so to see how everything was renovated was interesting. It's a very casual place, and reservations aren't necessary. Since my friend goes their often, she placed an order for many dishes, especially the ones that would take a while. I enjoyed all of the dishes like the green circle chicken was so delicious. I wouldn't have minded another one. The appetizers' homemade bread, pork belly, and cauliflower were phenomenal. I suggest if you're in the area to check this place out. The service was really great here as the waiter was very attentive and great with kids. If you're looking for outdoor seating, this place has it too.“

“I brought my team of 7 in last night for what was forecasted to be a great dinner. In actuality, what we had was a truly exceptional dinner, with some tremendous flavors, outstanding service and a fabulous time all around. The burrata was heavenly, the perfect balance of savory and sweet and utterly creamy. The meatballs were cooked to perfection with dynamic flavors. The arancini were light and airy and had great flavor. I think the garlic bread and piada breads were some of the best breads I’ve ever had. Exceptionally cooked. We went heavy on the entrees to share and the shining star of the evening had to be the Campanelle. Perfectly delicate bites of butternut squash, the toasted spicy almond bread crumbs, and a sauce that I would do questionable things to jar made this the star of the evening. The bucatini was great, the tagliatelle packed a ton of flavor into every bite, the pappardelle with lamb bolognese and shishito gremolata was out of this world. All in all, this was a terrific dining experience and a place I will absolutely be back on my next visit to Denver. 10 out of 10“
