“I play Bingo frequently. If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere from other patrons, this is the hall for you. The owners are a delight and build personal aqantence with their guests. All the volunteers looking for sponsorship for their campaign are very friendly and a joy to be around. If you are looking for a bite to eat while enjoying the game the food is also exceptional and with a variety that pleases any craving. Paking is also vast and the hall itself is spacious. The line to get your packet is never long it moves swiftly thanks to the knowledgeable staff working the register. BINGO at the Bingo Oasis is worth the money towards the charity it goes to. It's a good way to support local school activities for the kids. This is my favorite bingo hall hands down.Parking: Also easy to find a spot to park.Kid-friendliness: Kids can play too ages 7+Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for wheelchair accessible.“
“The people are down to earth and great. The pizza is always amazing and made fresh, I prefer their pizza over others.Kid-friendliness: It feels like an old pizza parlor, which i love. A few arcade games, maybe some pinball. Reminds me of growing up.“
“We had a great experience! We had dinner on a busy Sunday night so we had a small wait, but the male host to took our info and sat us was great. The pizza, garlic wings and parm bites were delicious! Everything came out fast and hot.Kamri was our server and she was amazing with good suggestions and anticipated what we might need. We will definitely be back and ask to sit in her section specially.“
“2 years ago I would have given Fazoli's a two-star rating because, without warning, they removed our favorite menu item: the submarino. We were so pleased when they brought them back! Fazoli's meals are always hot, fresh, and served with a smile. Kudos to the drive-thru staff for their accuracy and efficiency. Going to Fazoli's for a midweek lunch is always a special treat. ?♥️“
“We had such a lovely time at Spuntino. The service was excellent and all of the food was delicious. We ordered the Capellini Aglio e Olio and the Lasagna. Both had an Indian spice flavor to them which was great. Ordered the Arancini as well which were very good and they were even kind enough to bring us an order of Focaccia on the house because “it’s just too good to pass up”. They were right! Will definitely be back.“
“My wife and I had an amazing time at Tavernetta! Each dish was fantastic, expertly matched with outstanding cocktails that truly stood out. Tavernetta is a must-visit for an unparalleled dining experience because of its unwavering commitment to excellence in cuisine and beverages. The service is second to none—great job! I look forward to coming back!“
“I absolutely love spending time here! The staff (Tim, Sybil, Devi, Sarah, Ash, and others!) are all wonderful and make you feel at home. The food is good, the happy hour is such a good deal, and the atmosphere is so friendly! This has become my favorite neighborhood hangout, and I know I’m not alone.“
“my husband and I came here years ago for an anniversary when we first moved to Denver. coming back years later the food is very tasty, but the service was even better. Megan G went above and beyond for us this visit. she was very kind and even made us laugh quite a bit. we will definitely be returning (:“
“This pizza was excellent. Probably the best on the strip there that I’ve had. The bar stools were fun and the service was quick. Drink specials weren’t too bad either, so stop in for the happy hour. Would pop in again next time I’m passing through Denver.“
“The food is amazing! I always get the gnocchi but i've tried other dishes including the seafood pasta and pizzas and everything is so tasty and cooked perfectly! I love the service style, they have a bar, a gelato station, and even sell authentic italian ingredients to take home!“
“Voghera Ristorante & Apericena is the only place in Denver where my husband & I can reexperience the kind of dining we enjoyed—no, loved—throughout northern Italy, in Milan and in the Piemonte wine region last year. Once again, last night we thoroughly appreciated the menu choices (many more choices than other restaurants offer during Denver Restaurant Week), the presentation of our selections, the amount of food provided in each course (more than ample), the timing (appropriate brief pauses between courses to digest, enjoy our wine, and anticipate the next course), the professional service provided by our server, the food runner/presenter (the owner with his energetic demeanor and Italian accent!), and prompt clearing of used items by a third person. Where else in Denver, at this price point, does your server bring an arranged tray of silverware to your table to replace any you have used or to provide you with the correct knife for your main course? We were thrilled with our wine choice—an Arneis from Piemonte—that complemented our meal selections perfectly. If you have traveled to places where food is treated with respect, you know the joy of experiencing the terroir of the area you are in. We feel this is what owner Marco & his team are providing to us in Denver. I would like to suggest that people who choose to come to this restaurant try to adopt an attitude of dining & savoring rather than just eating & drinking. Four at a table in our lovely back dining room were loud and raucous as would be appropriate in a sports bar but not in this setting. Their behavior affected the dining experiences of everyone else in the room. If you allow a dining experience here to transport you to northern Italy, you will feel the price is more than worth it.“
“One of the best dining experiences I have had in Denver. The bartender Melody made phenomenal drinks. Food was delicious. The potato gnocchi might have been the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We shared the beef brisket and pork tenderloin entrees. Both were 5 stars. Thank you guys for an amazing dinner!“
“Traveling for work, I found myself in wheat-ridge for 6 months. I was craving some sliced Italian deli meats and some Italian sweets and found this place nearby according to google. Omg I found heaven!Sliced my meat for me while I picked out some cannoli and pizzelle. Calabrisi was spicy good! I’ve since moved again but while I lived in wheat-ridge, I visited this place every two weeks.“
“Woah!!! I was looking around, trying to find the best Italian food in Denver... And there's always the fussy Italian food that is kind of expensive and not like grandma used to make... And I stumbled across Grammys and read some of the reviews and thought this is perfect. I think my husband will love this. He grew up With his grandma making spaghetti sauce for days... Foremost, the food is absolutely delicious... We happen to know that we love, Clyde, Sausage, and the fact that they serve it is amazing and so delicious... The garlic knots are as big as my hand... We were so impressed and they're really delicious and somehow kind of light and fluffy... My husband had the lasagna and the portion was huge. I'm pretty sure that we're going to have lasagna for at least 2 to 3 more meals and I had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was divine and the portions were huge. I'm sure I'm gonna eat that for days as well... Our eyes got really big when we saw the desserts and the goodies... they were so yummy looking The best thing about this place is the old-school red and white checkered tablecloth and friendly service and the fact that this is a family business just made our heart happy... While we were sitting there, we noticed a poster apparently this place was on Guy Fieri Diners DriveIns and Dive... I can see why... It's old-school and we love it. It's my new husband's favorite place. It reminds him of days of old.“
“Gargaro’s is an awesome no frills old school Italian bakery and sandwich shop. The sub sandwiches are huge, especially for the price. If you get the grinder be sure to add capicola for a little extra! All of the breads, pastries and cookies are amazing. They also have an assortment of freshly made pastas, sauce, sausage, pizza dough, sausage and pepper cannolis, cream filled cannolis. This place is legit!“
“We came here for a quick bite as a group and we really enjoyed it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We ended up sitting outside (it is a first-come-first-serve) and the staff was really helpful to set us up with the heaters and made sure we are taken care of.We ordered a variety of pizzas and really not a single one of them disappointed. The combos might sound crazy and unusual but they really work so i'd encourage anyone to try.We also ordered a few of the oysters and we loved them. They have a variety of types there and will make sure to run your through them. We really enjoyed all of them and the team was divided on favorites.Would definitely come back for more bites!“
“Rock City Pie & Ice has the most amazing pizza. My husband and I had our first pie from there tonight. The owner and his employees were awesome. We will be ordering again from there very soon. Can’t wait to try the rest of what’s on their menu.“
“I was in Lakewood for a visit, saw the sign and thought, "I wonder if that's the same place that we practically lived in, 48 years ago? " I was expecting our son, and their spaghetti & meatballs was the only thing that I consistently craved. Much to my delight, it is!! Fabulous salad, complete with the shredded provolone and truly perfect bread. But the moment I had the pasta, it brought me right back! The sauce is still rich, so flavorful and the traditional thick, yet tender noodles make it near perfect! Also, the same generous portions. No "shrink-flation" here.Thank you for the trip down memory lane. We've been gone from the area since 1984, and don't visit much. This will draw us back more often. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly and attentive servers and host. Way to go, Amici's!Kid-friendliness: This is still a family-friendly, kid-friendly restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a rollator, they have made it very easy to get around safely.“
“This is my favorite local bar, and the bartender has the best customer service. Food is great for a good price, and overall this bar and the regulars that frequent this spot have become a second family. I was here on Wednesday night, the night in which Jesse G wrote a one star review about; and he was screaming in the bartenders face. And definitely left out some major details about the interaction. As I frequent this place often I know the rules for drinks in a bar; and upgrading from a soda to a beer; regardless if you're in a pool league or not, isn't a possibility. You order a drink and are then able to get that same drink a second time for free. So no, not on any bar on earth would a bartender give you a free beer, which is what he was asking for, in exchange for buying a soda. Secondly, what bar have you ever gone to where you don't have to put a card down to start a tab for $7.00 tacos TO LEAVE OPEN, or close out your tab immediately. And then he literally screamed in her face at the bar. Before you critique or criticize someone take a look at what role you played in the whole interaction. Which was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. I'm not sure where he's been going out to drink, but I'd say that the rules for starting a tab and bogo drinks are pretty universal. Don't let his review scare you away, Tedz is definitely the place to be.“
“Very delicious pizza and great bang for your buck especially for a hole in the wall place in the middle of downtown Denver.About $25 after tax for 2 slices, 1 combo and 1 calzone. The space is a little small but again…downtown :D.Restrooms kept very clean but protected by keycode.“
“Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Staff is professional.I grew up in Boston and lived in New York for a while and I consider their Italian restaurants to be authentic Italian American food that is my basis for comparing everything to. This is the only place I’ve found so far in the Denver area that even comes close to authentic and is just as good as anything you would find in those places. As someone who loves Italian food and misses home, that is the highest compliment I can give. One thing I have to mention is the surcharge on the bill. A 2% fee that goes to the kitchen staff is added onto the bill. It’s only 2% and not a big deal at all, but I really HATE this trend. Just adjust your prices and pay your staff like every other business in the world. It’s clearly a political statement and your gruff with local politicians requiring you to pay your employees a living wage doesn’t need to be shoved down the throats of your customers just trying to enjoy a meal. Complaining about having to pay your employees on your menu, especially when you just bought the building for $2.6million, is sleazy and in poor taste. You can afford to pay your staff 2% more. Get over it.“
“Don't waste your life like I did mine, go here. I have lived around the corner from this place for ages! Tried it for the first time today and now I am in deep regret for not having gone sooner. Can I give 6 stars?Took home some soup, olives, meats and cheese. The Pasta Fagioli soup is divine. The broth is flavorful while the beans and pasta melt like butter. I didn't know that mozzarella could taste like that. And the olives. . . .garlic, spice, just amazing.Don't be silly, go there now.“
“1 of 1. Only place I've been in in Colorado that smells like a true Italian Delicatessen. Sandwiches are normal price in comparison to what they give you. The price matches the quality. Food is fresh with their own flavor you can't replicate. 10/10 and one of my favorite Italian spots in Denver!“
“I went for lunch and dessert today for the first time. It was busy, and hard to figure out where the line was going. My sausage calzone was very good, although my leftovers were better once I popped them in my toaster oven and got it hotter and the bread crisp than it was when it was served. The desserts were fantastic! I tried the mini pistachio cannoli, pistachio cookies, almond and pine nut amaretti cookies too--all fabulous! The desserts are widely varied...I wanted everything!! But it is expensive: my 6 cookies and 2 mini cannolis were just under $20. Ouch. But I know these kinds of things are a lot of work to bake, so I guess that's why. I hope to get there again sometime, though it's far from my area.“
“Most of the food is good but service pacing is weird. Apps came out in less than 5 minutes but then pasta took another 30 minutes after that. The focaccia with prosciutto and straciatella is perfect. I'd go back just for that. The sweet potato croquettes were ok and the focaccia with black butter was nothing memorable. The charred spring salad was good though. The meaty mushrooms and onions were delightful. The squid ink cavatelli was a big hit but my rigatoni was too all dente. Another minute in the water would have been good because I got so tired from chewing the pasta. Otherwise, the flavor was excellent and I loved it.“
“We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.“
“Fantastic, local Italian deli and sandwich shop that has been around for generations. They make basically everything homemade, from the sausage to the sauce to the raviolis, all of which are fantastic. It is truly a local spot too, run by just a few people who make truly traditional Italian dishes, both fresh and able to be taken home to be reheated. Also, the large sandwiches are LARGE, so be sure to be willing to share or save for leftovers if you get the large.“
“My grandson and other family members of my generation’s grandkids make the 4th and 5th generations of our family that have been eating Carl’s pizza since the 60’s. It’s remarkable that John and family have kept up making great food and memories and I wish them continued success. Thanks much for the innumerable number of pies, sandwiches and pasta that we always cherish being able to have again and again. Much love from our family to yours my friend.“
“Got the firebird - terrific. Pizza is easily enough food for 2 hungry people, possibly 3-4 if getting apps or salads, etc. Bar is decently stocked and the drinks were good.My only complaint would be some of the seating is a little tight. Small place, so understandable though.“
“This place was such a delight. I went here on a date with my boyfriend and we immensely enjoyed the entire experience. Everything we ordered was on point, presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. We ordered the Baked Brie and Caprese Salad as appetizers and I ordered the Shrimp Pesto Gnocchi for my entree. Everything was so delicious! The waitstaff was also very sweet and accommodating. We did have to wait a bit for our food but we were enjoying the ambience so much we didn’t mind. Overall, this place was such a positive and pleasant experience. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for everything, Trattoria Stella. ☺️ ? ? ?“
“What a hidden gem of a restaurant!Mussels are hands down the best in town. The caesar and schnitzel were incredible as well. Thank you to the team at Vinca and shout out to Yanik for making the best Negroni. Looking forward to our next meal here!“
“Great service and excellent pizza. The best in the area. Upon pickup, they couldn't find my order. They then quickly prepared my pie, free of charge. This is the way to correct a mistake and provide great customer service. I will keep coming back.“
“Craving unique Detroit-style pizza? Look no further than Red Tops Rendezvous in Jefferson Park! This spot uses fresh ingredients to craft amazing pizzas with a very crispy, flavorful crust. We recently enjoyed a fantastic meal, thanks to the excellent service and suggestions from bartender Tyler. We started with the Coney Knots (a playful twist on the classic chili cheese dog), then tried two delicious specialty pizzas: the Brick and Morty & the Six Mile High, both were incredible!Parking: Parking was slightly difficult during our visit due to road construction on nearby streets.“
“I brought my team of 7 in last night for what was forecasted to be a great dinner. In actuality, what we had was a truly exceptional dinner, with some tremendous flavors, outstanding service and a fabulous time all around. The burrata was heavenly, the perfect balance of savory and sweet and utterly creamy. The meatballs were cooked to perfection with dynamic flavors. The arancini were light and airy and had great flavor. I think the garlic bread and piada breads were some of the best breads I’ve ever had. Exceptionally cooked. We went heavy on the entrees to share and the shining star of the evening had to be the Campanelle. Perfectly delicate bites of butternut squash, the toasted spicy almond bread crumbs, and a sauce that I would do questionable things to jar made this the star of the evening. The bucatini was great, the tagliatelle packed a ton of flavor into every bite, the pappardelle with lamb bolognese and shishito gremolata was out of this world. All in all, this was a terrific dining experience and a place I will absolutely be back on my next visit to Denver. 10 out of 10“
“I had the lunch special, the1lb with mushrooms and green peppers and a side salad. They definitely have huge portions I couldn't come near finishing the app, the salad was full of veggies and the pizza was beyond awesome. It's got this really thick crust and they give you this warm honey and chipotle seasoning that's amazing!! Danielle was my server and did an amazing job, super on top of everything even though the restaurant was crowded and busy. My new favorite pizza spot by far!“
“If you're craving Olive Garden. This is the best location to go. The service is excellent. Connie was so amazing. She made my little one's birthday super special, she was so nice. And she was on top of getting our drinks bread and a delicous recommendedation for the calamari. A raspberry sauce is so delicious. The food was fresh tasting, especially the salad, it wasn't drowning in dressing. the broccoli was perfectly cooked, The service was great. The portions were plentiful, and it was delicious best location I've been to in a while I hope it doesn't change. The restaurant is spacious and cleanKid-friendliness: Everyone was so nice to my kids and super polite“
“My first time at SliceWorks Pizza on 120th was today, although I've been to this location when it was Pizza Roma after they moved from their original spot on Washington. It's a pleasant pizza parlor design and plenty of parking.I recently read good comments in NextDoor, so wanted to try it. I had a Grandma Pizza slice (square), and it was very good. I also had a slice of their Pizza of the Day, which was Spinach and Artichoke hearts and OMG, it was the best, and it was a HUGE slice! I also ordered the Chopped Wedge Salad, and it was truly the best restaurant salad I've ever had!!! Also a HUGE serving. The whole experience was great! The young woman at the counter was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the pizzas. I'll be going back soon! The man behind me ordered Baked Potatoe Pizza, and it looked great, so that may be my best slice!“
“It's pretty good for a quick italian fix. I order out from here at least twice a week.Recent complaints, over the last year they changed their sandwich bread, it's not as good. What happened to the candies? Would love to see some calamari.“
“Your Pie is a favorite of my family! My kids love the pizza experience with dough and gelato! The staff and service are always exceptional! We hosted a school fundraiser and ordered a large order for the teachers. The order was placed online and everything went smoothly and the teachers loved it!“
“I got my food to go but the atmosphere was extremely great, the waitress were very friendly and polite. My host was Sophie, and she was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. I am from NC and wanted some Italian food, and trust me, it did not disappoint…Enjoy “
“I had initially stopped at Improper City to work on my laptop but was starved and they didn't have any food available. The bartender directed me to The Walnut Room and I took the quick 2 min walk with no idea what to expect. It's small and has a local bar feel but their food is different than any bar food I've ever had. The waitress recommended the Thai sweet chili flatbread and again I had no expectations but it was delicious. I also ordered a Paloma and worked away on my laptop for about an hour. It's definitely not the best environment to get work done but it was surprisingly the perfect recommendation and I'll definitely be back with friends next time I'm in Denver. :)“
“We have been ordering regularly take out pizza from Sexy since we moved to Denver 7 years ago. We always order the Spinach White cut into squares - too good and then order something with meat. So happy to be a regular, especially when I receive coupons for free stuff for being a loyal fan ?“
“Sarpino's is located in a dilapidating parking lot off Highway 36 and Federal Blvd. It's a good option if you're in the area, and perhaps even if you're not. The calzone is good, and the pizza is better. Beware the pepperoncini that may accompany your main dish though.. Mine for some reason tasted like it was marinated in pure gasoline. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-04“
“We have been eating here since the late 1980s and boy do they just keep getting better and better... Ordered two beef cannolis today and they were absolutely divine I believe Arvada Villa may have some of the best dough I've ever had in my life... The $12 ( we have not been since the price increase ) each set me back a little bit but after getting home seeing that they were bigger than they used to be and just as tasty as ever, they were well worth the 12 to $13 each...“
“What an experienced.. awesome buffet and the food is good! They are very professional as they have a chef behind most counters. You will have your heart full of Italian feast! It's definitely worth the 1.5h trip! Huge restaurant that can seat up to 600 people or more.“
