“We had dinner here. My hubby and I shared an order of the potato skins appetizer, ridiculously delicious! Then we ordered the patty melt with fries to split, unbelievable!!! The fries are the best I've had anywhere! I encourage you to try this place! What a hidden gem!!“
“I brought 5 children here after the ice castles. They were wet, cold, and hungry. The waitress was an older woman and amazing.Brought the kids menues out, got everyone hot chocolate. Was super patient with five kids ages ranging from 6 to 13.So grateful for the excellent service and patience.I wish I remember the waitresses name, but she told us about the ghost stories and a lot of cool stuff that the kids loved.“
“This restaurant is located within the casino on the LL level. We went on a Saturday after visiting the ice castles when they were having a special deal ($15) on the prime rib. The mashed potatoes were amazing! The prime rib was a bit salty but a great deal for the price. We had the dumplings appetizer which was also great. Overall this place is a great deal with cheap but filling food. Recommend if you’re visiting Cripple Creek on a day trip.“
“We are so lucky to have Salt Grass as an option for restaurants in Cripple Creek now. We live in Divide and will make the trip just for this place. The service is always top notch, the food is great and fresh. Everybody is so friendly that works here, it's super refreshing! Great job, team!“
“Great bar burgers and typical local bar atmosphere.Staff is very friendly. We had the green chili burger, bacon burger, fries and onion rings. Patties were seared nicely and had lots of flavor. The onion rings are delicious, but a little skimpy on the serving sine it’s a $3 up charge from the fries which have a very good seasoning. The green chilis are slightly spicy for one of us and just right for the other. All in all, I would gladly eat here when I want a great burger.“
“I ordered a cheeseburger to go. It was actually pretty good however for the price, I would have expected it to have lettuce, tomato, & onion instead of just the 3 lonely pickle slices. I was really craving a burger, but probably won't eat there again for that reason.“
“This is easily one of my new favorite places to eat in Cripple Creek! Super good Bison burgers and string fries, but lots of other choices that look good, too. This is a small, Veteran owned, operated, and staffed restaurant. 2 floors, 2 bars for overflow, and a good-sized private room are available. The decor exudes old Colorado. Might even be haunted. :-) I leave that to you.“
