The Nickel is situated in the lobby of the Teatro Hotel. Had breakfast food is ok a bit on the expensive side for what it is. Check opening hours as it was frequently closed on several occasions I went to eat there.
My wife and I have eaten at the nickel a number of times, before theaters or concerts. This most recent time, we both ordered charcuterie boards. My wife also ordered a salad and I ordered steak tartare. One of the meats in the charcuterie boards was very spicy. Not necessarily a bad thing, but we do not do spicy and there was no choice. The portions were generous, but again, there were no choices, for example, there was a good jam, but no mustard; the pistachios were stale. Some...read full review

Helpful hint: make a reservation here!I did not know that ahead of time, & they did not have tables available, BUT thankfully they had seats open at the bar for us the evening we went.The Nickel is super close to the Denver Center for Performing Arts, so it's great for a pre-show drink & meal.The food was delicious & the drinks were so yummy! Shout out to our awesome bartender, I wish I could remember her name!
