“We love to visit and eat/drink at Public House 701 when we are in town. The owners are hands on and has created a very cool vibe restaurant and successfully brought together an A team chef and drink mixologist. The front of the house staff are friendly and makes sure you have a good experience. Everything I have eaten has been so delicious. The patio was almost full the night I was there, taking advantage of the awesome weather. With a separate room off the bar area, it would be perfect for events and group parties. I cannot wait to go back.“

“Always clean inside and super friendly but just once I'd love them to get my order right. This is a copy of my other review but eat here! I gave them five stars but it whoever hires most of the help gets all of the credit because they definitely emphasize service because even though it's not always accurate, the employees are always awesome -- in particular Ian and Lucas. In spite of the great service, it helps to watch them make your sandwich if they're not busy because these guys are so busy that they're on autopilot and don't always notice if one strays from the normal ingredients. First the guy put mayo on my sub and after I pointed it out, it tried to put vinegar and oil on it but I caught him again but in fixing that, he removed the onion that he'd already put on and I had to ask him for that. I took my eyes off of the guy to pay my bill and he forgot the peppers. It's frustrating because it's written down right in front of them. Regardless, they're friendly and accommodating and I'd recommend this store above any other sandwich shoppe in town but if you resort to "brand X," go to their south store in town and hope that Michale or Gene are working. As far as JJ in Durango goes, stop and eat and tip well because these guys are top notch and I recommend JJ with all of my heart!

“Something changed at this place for the better! Used to be a total dump with rude employees. Came in today and the people working were the most professional food workers I've probably ever seen. They greeted everyone that came in the door and spoke with such a polite and professional tone. I'm stunned. “Shout out to the Manager Clayton for helping feed our 32 soccer kids traveling from out of town! We came in late and he didn’t leave us hanging after an “unnamed” competitor canceled our order 45 minutes after placing our order because they were understaffed!
