“Great neighborhood vibe and very impressed with our recent visit. We come about once a year when my dad is in town. He has been coming since 1990 and loves it. He raved about Josiah (I think that is his name) and I agree. He was very personable and was great with everyone that came in. He made us all feel welcome and the service was great. We’ll be back!“

“I was absolutely astonished and blown away by our whole entire experience with this team of individuals who sincerely care about their patrons. I am more than happy to report that these people that work at the restaurant really put their backs into it, as of course EVERYTHING is completely home made. I’ll spare you the details on the wine, and desert because those specific delicacies could never be described with words. There are other options you can eat here if you’re not looking to spend a lot of money, but after eating their menu you’ll see why they are always packed. Getting a reservation is highly recommended as some nights you can’t even get a table the same week.“

“I’m blown away. The interior (and exterior neon sign that says in big bold letters, “PIZZA PASTA”) does not match the excellency of the food. Not only was the food exquisite, the customer service was superb as well. Reasonable prices for large portions, quality of ingredients, and attentiveness across the board. My buddy stated, “I don’t want to take the last bite because that means it will all be over.” It was that good. What a hidden gem.“

“It is a fairly different concept for ordering and seating so just be prepared. It would probably move quicker if the food sucked but it’s amazing and that’s why there is a crowd. It’s worth it and the food does come out pretty fast. The pricing was fantastic for the value as well.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.“

“The food is amazing! Our waitress was awesome as well. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the manager making it seem like we’re being rushed. I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. That being said the food and our waitress definitely did not disappoint!“

You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. The pasta is hand made and has a perfect texture and amazing flavor with the sauce. The house made buratta is the freshest, creamiest and thickest you’ll enjoy outside of select NYC restaurants that are famous for making their own mozzarella, ricotta or buratta. And the staff treat their guests like they’ve invited you into their own home. Jessica was amazing! All together, going to Luca’s is like getting the perfect big warm hug.“

I had the eggplant parmesan, which was very good. I don't know if the kitchen staff changes, or what? The eggplant portion was very small, three slices of eggplant the size of a silver dollar.“

“We received a gift card from a family member at Christmas and decided to use it on a Saturday night in January. The restaurant was packed but there was seating in the bar area, so we decided, what the heck(!) and went to the bar. Once seated we were greeted with the friendliest bar staff, Marissa and Tiernan. We wanted a glass of red and Marissa recommended the Porta Vita Italia. It is a delicious bargain and we were so impressed (and now hooked!). Our food was and continues to be great, as now we have become Saturday night regulars! We are Italian and honestly did not think we could get a traditional and tasty meal at a chain. Marissa and Tiernan, thank you for the excellent, friendly customer service and sweetness. You both are classy, sassy and super bad-**sy! The new owners straight from Europe The Giaqnni family has changed the plate ware, expanded wine and beer, same chef's and are starting a lunch menu and they say soon a breakfast menu. I had 15 for dinner Saturday night. Food great, fun and wait staff engaging. Owners visited as well. You will like the new settings.“
