This is a great spot if you are traveling and just want something consistent. This location is right off of 16th street mall downtown Denver which is very convenient to many hotels downtown as well!“

“This place is amazing starting from the incredible experience with Robin whom went above and beyond to Coordinate an amazing event. Meegan and Orlando were so incredibly personable! I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was great. I got to meet the awesome serving team and head chef, everyone was kind and made sure to check on us. I watched all the staff work together to make sure our food for a party of 40 was delivered quickly. “I have only been here one time. It was while Christmas shopping this year (24). It was most definitely the highlight of the night. The queso appetizer was ridiculous, and the beer selection made the mall bearable! I will definitely be back to try more of this menu.

“Love the cozy, airy vibe here; the super friendly and knowledgeable staff; and the creative, flavorful dishes. The pricing is very reasonable, too.

The chicken liver toast ($10) is not only gorgeous, but also delicious and full of different textures. Their Texas toast is made with high-quality heirloom grains, which I also thought was cool.

Popcorn chicken ($10) was fantastic! Juicy inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, but not too crunchy or overbreaded. Highly recommend any of their fried chicken dishes after having that!

The sashimi platter was beautiful and tasted great, but at $26, I’d honestly pass on this next time and get sashimi at a sushi spot.

The dry-aged half duck was sooooooo good! Perfectly cooked and so much flavor, even in the purple lettuce leaves on the side (not sure exactly what they were). It’s the most expensive main at $78, but considering the quality and that it is easily big enough for two, I’d say that’s reasonable. I’d love to try the pork chop char siu next time ($65) — and their wagyu short rib is only $58 (all these are meant to be for two people).“

Jubs, our server, was not only friendly and attentive but also very handsome, which definitely added an extra touch of enjoyment to the experience. “If you’re looking for a classic diner experience, look no further! Westy’s has standard diner food, better-than-average coffee (it’s standard diner drip coffee but without the burnt flavor), and exceptionally friendly service. We were greeted with a smile, our food was brought out promptly, and the atmosphere felt more like sharing a meal at a friend’s house than exchanging currency for attentive service.“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“I love going to McCoy's.
It has become one of my regular stops on Sundays. Sometimes, even on Saturdays, we usually have breakfast. But they have a great menu with lots of options, there is something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs.
We also went there for Thanksgiving dinner, and their Thanksgiving dinner was the best. This has become one of my favorite places to eat.

Vegetarian options: I am not sure about their vegetarian options. But the staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu.They are also very willing to change anything. I am allergic to eggs. And when I get breakfast, I just have them omit the eggs from any of my dishes. And they are happy to do it.

Kid-friendliness: I haven't seen very many kids or babies here. It looks like it would be kid friendly.“

“One of the best mom and pop steak house in town , The food is always amazing , the service is the best and the prices are very competitive with other steak house even lower in price then the top steak houses. I can’t enough about this little gem tucked away in a little strip mall. Give 5281 a try , you won’t be disappointed at all. We love there food and drinks.“
