“The food is amazing! Our waitress was awesome as well. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the manager making it seem like we’re being rushed. I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. That being said the food and our waitress definitely did not disappoint!“

“We didn't order any food. The menu is what you would expect from a wine bar. Charcuterie boards artichokes spinach dip etc. It was disturbing to see the person preparing the food wearing gloves but still touching appliances and even compacting the trash with his gloved hand. Which he then continued to prepare food with.“

“This is officially our new favorite tapas in Denver! I had the best two different mezcal margaritas that I’ve ever had. The plates were very big as tapas go, and everything was delicious. It was very fairly priced given the large portion sizes. I especially recommend the chef’s choice cheese and the garlic trio. Service was the best part of a wonderful experience, and we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful chef, who explained each dish to us and made recommendations. We will absolutely be back.“

Appetizers- chickpea fritter, tomato burrata, and baby carrots. The chickpea fritter had a very smooth consistency like silken tofu. It was so yummy.
Entrees- braised cabbage and trout. The braised cabbage was so delicious.
We also ordered a few drinks. I had make me a gin cocktail and it was just ok. My friends enjoyed their drinks.“

“Met some out of town friends who were celebrating their 1st Anniversary. I had just mentioned on the Open Table app that there was an Anniversary. The staff took over. Shortly after we were seated they brought us a champagne toast. Claudia our wait person was very attentive. As we were enjoying our cocktail, the Manager brought a rose and a staff signed card. Dinner was delicious. My wife and I each had the scallops and the happy couple had a steak salad and the other had the butter fish. All very well prepared. They brought complimentary dessert. Was a Friday evening and there was full house, but the service was well timed and was not rushed. All the fanfare was unexpected but much appreciated. You can't go wrong.“

“We had the most outstanding dinner tonight. Everything was on point from the atmosphere, to the food and beverage selection. Our server, Bri, was so welcoming and gave us some of the best recommendations for mezcal, cocktails and which tapas to order.
We got the Corn Sour and Colada- both highly recommend. There are so many mezcals to choose from but the two we got were different enough from each other and were both so smooth (see photos).
We started with the tostada de toro, their dry aged tuna was melt in your mouth decadent and the whole tostada was so flavorful. They display their dry aged tuna on the wall and it really added to the aesthetic of their open kitchen.
The second dish was the burrita de chicharrón- the most delicious pork burrito with homemade flour tortilla I’ve ever had with a flavorful salsa on the side.
Third was the costillal de res, a bowl of braised short rib, black beans and chilled with a side of corn masa tortillas. I don’t even know what to say it was the best taco situation I’ve had in a long time.
We wanted to try one more thing and had the tlacato de pato- a slightly spicy duck dish. So tender and filling. I had some corn tortillas left and made a taco out of that, perfection.
They don’t openly have a dessert menu but there is one thing they serve and it’s a surprise- the most delicious one ever so go check out this restaurant and try it all!!

You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. “OMG, we absolute loved this place. Went in for happy hour. The selection of food and beverage was great, way above most restaurant offerings for both. The Slap Burger, Hot Chicken and Ricotta offerings were top notch and the house wine and sparkling were great. Service was friendly and it was such a fun and relaxing place to spend the evening.

“Fantastic place, you can't go wrong. The service is unmatched. The fish is very tender and fresh, especially if you follow the waiter's suggestions. They are very generous, as well. Rolls are well filled and flavorful, plus their special rolls are topped with cuts as well. You can get a large meal for two with drinks for around $100 out the door and will really feel you've got your money's worth. The decor is a bit strange, but it's kind of amusing and charming.“
