I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and absolutely LOVED it! Everything was so so good and the presentations were stunning. All staff was so attentive and friendly and knowledgeable and gave Heather and I a phenomenal experience. Not to mention the really neat modern upscale yet laid-back vibe, this is totally my kind of place. Whoever was on aux was CRUSHING it too - it was almost like they were playing my playlist. 10/10 EZ I’ll def need to come back and try their other menus.

“Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and everything was amazing, the drinks, the food, the service, we will definitely be coming back! We got a black cherry hard seltzer & Czech pilsner both on tap. We ordered the Sunday special that includes a Caesar salad, french fries and martini all for $16. We also ordered the Logan burger which is a double cheeseburger with Portobello mushroom on it.“

“Jamie - it’s clear that everyone appreciates her, customers and coworkers alike. She’s friendly, even-keeled, and at ease, even in a rush. She’s wonderful and attentive. A clear multitasker, serving and behind the bar. I’d come back just for her level of service but the food is not to be ignored either. “we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“The Kitchen American Bistro was a treat for us at dinner last night. Our server, Stephan, was cordial, kind and knowledgeable. All the waitstaff said hello and were most accommodating. The atmosphere was light, clean and comfortable while being modern simultaneously. I can't begin to describe the eclectic menu. Main courses are for individuals, but the “lighter fare” is to share and is served first. Bruschetta bread and the carrot dish were the best we've ever tasted. Husband had the Black Linguine with shrimp (and all sorts of marvelous mix-ins) and the hangar steak which I enjoyed immensely, was “melt in your mouth tender”. Go enjoy a special meal at The Kitchen. I know we intended to return soon!“

“My husband and I started our anniversary celebration at The Original, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Jeremy.

Jeremy gave us some of the best service we’ve ever had. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel celebrated throughout our entire meal. He anticipated everything we needed without ever being overbearing, offered great recommendations, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.

Exceptional customer service is hard to come by, and Jeremy absolutely exceeded every expectation. He played a huge part in making our anniversary feel so special, and we’re already looking forward to coming back because of the experience he provided.

“very cool speakeasy environment with 'secret' entry, handled in a fun way. started the evening early here so we could get to dinner res'n elsewhere afterward. server (Kenny) was polite and attentive (perhaps a bit over-attentive, but maybe cuz it was early and not too busy yet) and had good suggestions on the wide drinks menu. we enjoyed the barrata app'r and some drinks, then off to dinner“

Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“Service was amazing, honestly the highlight of the experience. The food was good, but not quite at the leve. Fried chicken was cooked perfectly, as was the wagyu. The seasoning seemed off though and most items fell flat. The potato pave was by far the best thing we had, it’s a must get if visiting. The drinks were also not really up to the task unfortunately. I’m glad I came and tried it, I really enjoyed the unique twists on some classic American dishes, not rushing back though.“

“Finally tried out this location after obsessing over the one in Boulder for years and while it’s clearly a different venue, the food is next level incredible. The BLT has to be the best BLT I’ve ever had in my life and I could not stay away. I returned three days later to consume another fabulous sandwich because I absolutely could not wait. No photos because I became fixated on scarfing this insane sandwich down as soon as I could. there were no morsels left on the plate.“

I always order my bun on the side, but I didn’t even have to because they have an amazing burger bowl option for any of their burgers. Another thing I loved: when you order fries, you can choose a single or double portion instead of being forced into getting two sides. “We happened upon this one of a kind gem of a family Cafe by accident, but we will absolutely be back anytime we are in the area again. My wife and I had been to a concert (My Chemical Romance) the night before and up very late, searching for breakfast places nearby the next morning and Westys easily was the obvious choice. Somehow I just had a feeling that Westys would be great. When we arrived we were promptly greeted, watered and coffee'd; and probably the best host I've ever had, Frankie, began to do what I would say he does best, being a friendly, welcoming, genuine person! I had some questions about items on the menu and asked if the restaurant had Greek heritage somehow tied in and Frankie proudly spoke about how his family runs Westys and his family owns the area it is at also. I can not speak enough about Frankie. He was so friendly, so GENUINE, so knowledgeable, Frankie is a true on in 7 billion kind of person. Watching him with other customers and seeing the excitement from the to see him, its just so humbling. Frankie deserves every bit of all the great things he gets in life. Now, the food. It was amazing! Great flavor, great portions, very creative, very much made with love. I had the meat skillet with gyro meat added with pita and handmade tzatziki. My wife had a gyro and fries, DELICIOUS SO DELICIOUS! Frankie being the nice guy he is, offered handmade green chili to have with our breakfast and matching the rest of this review it, was nothing short of FANTASTIC! The coffee was great even! I am so thankful for family cafes like this one, please go support them, please be nice while you are there, please enjoy their craft. WESTYS IS AMAZING!“
