“Absolutely fantastic Mexican cuisine! From the rich flavors of their traditional dishes to the vibrant atmosphere, this restaurant truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. The authenticity of their recipes shines through in every bite, leaving you craving more. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving delicious Mexican food!“
“All I gotta say is, as a first generation immigrant from Mexico, this is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs. Food is FIRE (highly recommend the barbacoa) the service is really good as well, most of the time. Drinks are really good too. They ain’t stingy wit it, I’ll say that.“
“The quesabirria tacos were BOMB! The best I’ve found here in the Springs. Their salsa is also on point. Great daily specials as well. I’ve never been disappointed from anything I’ve ordered there (Elotes, platano frito, salchipapas, Fresca con crema)“
“Some of the best tacos I have had in Colorado Springs. The birria tacos are crunchy and have awesome flavor, and the consome elevates the experience. I had an al pastor taco and it was ok, had decent flavor. I had a barbacoa taco and it was very dry bit tasted good. All the tacos are stuffed with meat making them a great value. My wife had the menudo and she said it was ok. I tried the horchata, it was too sweet and made with less milk (maybe none). The salsas are provided for your tacos: green, red, and habenero. The habenero was our favorite since it had spice and good flavor. Great hours and friendly staff. Will definitely come back for those birria tacos!“
“We love El Korita! They are the best Mexican food truck in town hands down. It always hits the spot especially coming from California and being very picky when it comes to Mexican food. My husband always asks for his tripa extra crispy and they never fail at making it crispy and still keeping it savory. We come back quite often and are regular customers and they are always very kind. Definitely recommended!“
“Pupusas melts in your mouth and pork quesadillas were so good. the food was amazing but what’s more amazing was the experience. the lady who served us gave such a nostalgic experience as if our own mother was serving us food. so kind and generous, she made us feel extremely welcomed and appreciated. we definitely enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the kind hearted service we received. def would recommend to my friends and would come back again“
“This is the best Mexican spot in Colorado Springs. The authenticity is out of this world. Every time I want true Mexican food, this is where I go. The barbacoa is perfect and the service is great and personal every time. We’re welcomed with a smile and genuine hospitality every time. I’ll be going here for a long time.“
“My boyfriend and I were craving some birria tacos and found this gem on Yelp. Let me just say...best tacos ever, and the horchata CHEFS KISS For chips, guac, two orders of the birria taco plate and two drinks...$38. Best Mexican food in the springs. If it were me, I'd come here rather than all the main stream restaurants.“
“Best place to see a show in town. Very intimate, small venue. My brother and I saw Robyn Hitchcock, and he was phenomenal. What a legend to see in such a small venue. Live, love, love this place. Staff is also always helpful and friendly.“
“Sara is amazing! She took amazing care of us for my husband’s birthday. She made Colorado Springs feel like small town. And I love the food at Dos Santos! Whether it’s me and my spouse on a date night or a night out with the fam, everyone was satisfied! I highly recommend!“
“Food was fast and their tacos are always a treat! My favorite "street tacos" near me. Good portions and well seasoned.I always take my food to go, so I don't get a chance to have it super fresh or eat inside. However, with the tiny tables, I'm not sure i would dine in personally..Highly recommend! Great food, very friendly staff, all around win.“
“I love this place! The one by exit 146 (off I-25) has a better atmosphere and, for some reason, is never busy. The servers at this location were great.I LOVE the tapatio burrito because it's large and like 12$They have a lot of meal options.I dont eat out often, but this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Colorado.Kid-friendliness: There were many children, I will say, the area, maybe like the Parking lot, keep a close eye on your children, but sadly that's anywhere in the world anymore. No reason this couldn't be a nice place for a family dinner, unless of course customers were to misbehave.“
“I was craving this place. Came down from Denver and my son and I had GREAT service from a true gentleman and the food was ?. They're tacos are out there. So good.Dietary restrictions: They make everything ingredient by ingredient here so you can tell them to leave whatever out and you can add whatever in.“
“It's been renamed since we last lived here over 6 years ago but it is every bit as amazing. The food, service, and atmosphere are all phenomenal. Wonderful!!! The drinks are soooooooo good and very well proved as well and the food!! I've been waiting for some great Mexican food for years! Thank you 3 margaritas! You made our last date night before deployment a Beautiful one to remember!!!“
“We came here pretty early on a Friday however the food and service were very good, but my favorite were the margaritas which were some of the best I've had. I highly recommend this place if your looking for quick and great food and amazing drinks.“
“Very good burrito. My first time here, I grew up eating fresh tortillas so it's the only way to have them ☺️ the woman who helped me was very friendly. I liked that the meat was cut into manageable pieces, not huge chunks ? maybe a little spendy for a burrito ? but I'll definitely come “
“Hands down some of the most authentic Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I thought I was eating my grandma's food! Service was spot on! From the young man who seated us to our waitress to the bartender! The vibrant colors in the restaurant radiated the feeling of I'm hungry! Just a fabulous experience all the way around give it a try and won't disappoint you I promise! If I could give it a hundred Stars I wouldParking: It's located across from the El Paso County court on Vermont, so there's plenty of paid parking lots all up and down the block.“
“Always good food. The staff are super nice and the place is always clean, even with such a large customer rotation.Vegetarian options: Mainly a sides as primaryParking: The parking lot is small, but I've always found a space. They have a drive through and I have definitely parked at Walmart next door to eat.“
“By far the best street tacos I have had in town. The Al pastor mix they have is amazing. They also have birria tacos which are the cheesiest most mouth watering tacos in the world. I have gone to this truck for many years now and they are the kindest family who recognize there customers and know my order before I do sometimes. Would highly recommend.“
“Lemme start with the customer service here is amazing! I’ve been through a few times but tonight ALAN was working the window and that kid has so much respect and super friendly. I ordered and waited. Kid was fast and on top of it. Didn’t forget one thing. Not even his manners! Whoever his mama is should be proud! I even told him that. He deserves 10stars. It was a nice end to my long day. I really appreciate how easy the menu is and how easy it is to order. Food is amazing and very tasty! Keep up the good work!“
“We frequently get breakfast for staff meetings. This is the only place I'll get breakfast burritos from. They are not hit or miss like some places, everything is good and it's always good. I haven't eaten any of their other food, but definitely great breakfast dishes. And they accommodate gluten free diet restrictions.“
“Tacos are some of the few in town that remind me of home (las Vegas) tripa, asada, pastor, and bierria are all recommend!!! Their green salsa is a bit on the spicy side but a good mild flavor.Sadly, government caused inflation is hitting everyone hard, especially the food industry, so their tacos are around $3 each. Still the cheapest I've found so far.“
“I love coming here. It’s my go-to spot if if I want some solid drinks and food. Every single item on their menu is bomb. If you sit at the bar, I hope you get Codi. She’s super talkative and always in an uplifting mood!! Check DosDos out!!!“
“Update: Still great and they now take credit cards! This family-owned business is delicious. I have never had anything that I didn’t like. Their refried beans and rice are wonderful and their pork green chile and enchilada sauce are also very good. The portions are large and my husband and I usually share an entree. No matter what we ALWAYS get the limeade, even though it’s a little extra. It’s the perfect combo of sour and sweet. The owners are always there and very friendly. Cash only!“
“Enjoyed breakfast here on a weekend. Place was busy, but a short wait for a table. Everyone we encountered was friendly, food was great, and the bill was super reasonable for what you get. Terrific red and green Chile. Looking forward to coming back.“
“Simple order of two crunchy ground beef tacos with a side of guac TOTALLY hit the spot at lunch! Packed full of fresh ingredients and only $7. Red and green hot sauces are soooo good. Used to work downtown and ate her A LOT. I remember DEELISH breakfast burritos as big as your forearm. ?“
“Amazing, authentic Mexican food! Grabbed an early supper while our car was at Jiffy Lube - I simply ordered our waitress's favorite meal (ok, you can NEVER go wrong doing that!). Dtr-in-law ordered chicken quesadillas in corn tortillas - she's stick skinny & picky, and she loved them! Your basic chips and salsa? Chef's kiss ? ? LOVELY!!“
“This place makes great authentic Mexican food and has a good verity of fresh fruits and vegetables. I also like the grill cooked food they have cooking outside every day. Great for a fast freshly cooked lunch. The people are always very friendly and helpful.“
“This is the best food in town!! Literally makes me miss Arizona so much. My heart is happy and my tummy after leaving this place. ?❤️?Parking: Parking in the back of establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes you can enter with a wheelchair ?“
“I have had Mexican food all over the country and I have lived in Mexico but I absolutely love ❤️ the Carnita tacos at The Fiesta Grill (Food Truck). They are so good and so simple just like you would expect them be if you got them in Mexico. If you love real Mexican tacos, ♥️ you need to stop by and try their tacos where you like carnitas. El pastor, carna Masada or torttas or anything Mexican just stop buy and see what you want to try. You won't be sorry you stoppedI stop overtime I am in Colorado Springs.“
“Grab a breakfast burrito and some of their hot salsa if you like real spice. No matter what time of day we visit, their food has always been excellent and the staff friendly. Real Mexican food from great people. They have plenty of parking and seating or a drive-through if you need to hut the road. Portions are large and flavorful.“
“This Mexican restaurant is one of the best in town and the longest standing. It is so nice to have a family run restaurant with the customer in mind. We have been coming to the bean bandit, my whole life and truly love Margie and her spirit is still here. The food is still amazing and the chips and salsa are, always tasty! The service is good. Our waitress was the only one on the floor at the time we were there, and seemed to be handling things nicely.“
“My first time coming here, my neighbor bought me here. I loved rice and refried beans, quesadilla was alright. My second time coming here, I bought my grandma. She's loved it, she ordered spinach enchilada and cheese enchilada. I ordered Burrito Colorado, that was good. Marco was our server, he was awesome and always had a smile. I definitely recommend coming here ?“
“The food? Delicious. The service? Quick. The price? Affordable. Eating out is getting pretty expensive these days, so if I can feed my family of 3 with less than $50, then I jump on the deal. I highly recommend the birria quesadilla. Super good.“
“Lovely authentic Mexican restaurant. Huge portions packed with flavor. The horchata is house made and has hints of coconut to make it unique and absolutely delicious! The hot green Chile I smothered my barbacoa burrito in was fire! Plenty of spice and flavor. Service was good, food came out fast and waitresses were friendly and attentive.“
“I seen Mr. Pollo truck by Home Depot and decided to support their business. I got the whole chicken and was surprised with the price and how much food you get. The chicken was outstanding and well worth every dollar. It also came with beans, rice and peppers. I love this place and will be a frequent customer.“
“We have been a customer for about two years now and we love this place! This is the only place we grab our tacos! It's the best, well seasoned, and just everything melts in your mouth for how tender it is. MUY BUENO!Also, sometimes they run out of meat, make sure to call and ask if the meat you want is still available.“
“If you know anything about anything when it comes to real street tacos prepare to have your mind blown. Theres no lack of authenticity while also adding a touch of uniquness when it comes to Huevones! Their Tacos will have you understandbly question why they dont have a brick and mortar store! Me and my wife stop by EVERYTIME we can! Not to mention the service is just like going to a friends for a nice meal, happy to anwser questions, let you know whats popping for that day and everything in between. If you dont like Huevones YOU dont have taste buds.“
“You are missing out if you don’t visit the el Paisa taco truck. No comparison. Hands down the BEST Mexican food! Real food! Real flavor! Real Good! Every Friday night I go to the south east corner of circle and airport cuz that’s where el PAISA is! Can’t get enough! Their barbacoa is always awesome. Been coming for a long time and every time it’s the best! Consistently Fantastic. And they are fast too! Makes my mouth water just writing this review! Seriously my favorite place to get food!!“
“Some of the most fire Mexican food in the Springs I’ve had yet. Carne asada was gas, enchiladas verdes buss, and the churros filled with strawberry are my favorite. Def would eat everything on the menu here if i could but probably will end up doing so over time. Sweet and speedy service.“
“The only reason we stopped here was to use the bathroom. The food was good. We were surprised at how much food our orders had in them. Had we known, we would've shared one order.Vegetarian options: I wasn't looking for vegetarian options, so I don't know if there was a section. There was plenty of food on the menu for a vegetarian diet.“
“Marcos taco is the best Mexican food here in Colorado Springs I’ve been to a couple of spot but nobody got them street tacos like Marcos I got back every time I want some real Mexican food even tho it’s far from where I live it’s worth the drive“
“Tried a lot of items over the years... carnitas tacos and chimichangas- YUM! Lengua, chicharone, and tripe tacos- fantastic. The flying saucer and shredded beef tacos are fried amazingness. Best ground beef tacos I've ever had. Fresh tortilla chips and refried beans are a great addition. The drive thru is super convenient... my go-to local mexican place“
“We ended up here after debating where to grab a bite post-Home Depot adventure. Pulling into the center's parking lot, it was kinda sketchy with the darkness and sparse lighting. Ambiance-wise, dim lights, Spanish tunes, cozy vibes. Now, onto the grub, we ordered: * Mini chicken quesadilla for the little one * Tacos carnitas * Enchiladas trio * Beef sopes * Horchata Surprisingly, they had a smaller quesadilla option for under $3! Score! Enchiladas trio? So darn good! That sauce gave them this unique flavor I've never experienced before. Tacos carnitas? Meat galore! Super flavorful, especially with those grilled onions and lime juice. Beef sopes? Meh, didn't hit the mark for me. Now, I'm not usually a horchata fan, but this place? Best I've ever had! Tasted just like cinnamon Chex! With tips included, the bill was around $65. Overall, huge portions! Totally worth it, and definitely planning to swing by again to explore more of their menu. Oh, and heads up, no baby changing station here!“
“Was in Colorado Springs for a bout a few hours and me and my wife wanted some Mexican food…Typed up “tacos” and thank god there was a taco/Mexican location near where we were , like down the road….I wanted asada fries and she wanted three tacos of chorizo…Went to the drive thru and waited for a while like… idk…7 minutes in the car but next thing you know… gave me a big ol to go box with fries!… meat!!…and all the goodies oh man!!! I was freakin very happy! ??❤️?My wife really loved the tacos of chorizo with the green chili.Overall I am coming back for the same thing and my wife will be coming back for more other options.Very good job tacos el gordo! Very satisfying and very delicious will come back again.“
“Stop sleeping on the south side food scene. This spot is incredible. Lead chef came out took our orders and gave us free apps. It feels like a nice family spot. The kind of place you bust out the cards and stay a while... Empanadas and Arepas are INCREDIBLE and the meal isn't complete without their fresh juicesI wouldn't change a thing but the location, they need a line wrapped around their building“
“The horchata and Verde sauce are better than average Mexican fast food. 5 stars on those. Rolled tacos I got were yummy... crunchy outside but soft inside. They should melt the cheese on top though... Most of the cheese just fell off. I'll come back to try more stuff for sure. The horchata!! And that Verde taco sauce... Yummy! I felt their green sauce is as spicy or spicier that their red. Nice.Came back, got the wrong burrito but it was so good I couldn't complain. Hope they mess up my order more often if it turns out like that.“
“If you can't speak Spanish you need to look at the menu and decide on what you want ahead of time. I recommend at least learning your numbers along with basic restaurant lingo to be able to answer simple questions like here or to go. Don't count on an English speaker to be readily available to take your order. This is a real Mexican food shop with counter service, a small butcher, lots of yummy treats and things! Go to the register to order and pay then take your ticket to the line cook. Limited seating. Definitely will be back! Delicious ???“
“From beginning to the end, it was a wonderful meal. Arrived early and the place filled up fast. Everything is fresh, not the traditional heavy Mexican. The queso is lovely and not spicy, but you know how to do that yourself to your desired level. The chips are cripsy and thin as they are made in-house, yay. The plates are large, so if you are a light luncher, consider bringing a friend to share with! The tres Leche cupcake was a moist and divine ending to the meal.“
“Great food, quick service. Even with a bit of a line, they got me served pretty quickly. Overall, well done. Great selection to fit any fancy. You can’t go wrong with their hard-shell taco salad!Ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the seating area was nice and clean.“
