The portions are really nice size and a good value for the price! No reason to go anywhere else. I love 3 hours away and visit this place every time I come to Colorado springs.“

“As a visitor to Colorado Springs, I’m already missing Shuga’s. I came in for both lunch and dinner during my trip and wished I had time to try the whole menu. Everything was fresh, creative, and full of flavor. The Café Tray—which features the menu highlights—was a perfect sampler. The Cuban Mojo Sandwich and Key Lime Pie were excellent. Cocktails were perfectly balanced. The space itself is as thoughtful as the food. Beautiful art prints by a local artist line the walls, each representing a year of the business. There’s a cozy garden yurt out back that offers additional seating. It’s a unique, welcoming place with real personality. The staff clearly enjoy working together—it felt like a fun, supportive, family-like crew. I was lucky to be served by Missy, who made my day. I chatted with the chef at the bar after his shift; he was totally delightful and he clued me into his favorite local spots. Free street parking was easy to find, and I’d definitely recommend checking out their website—there’s a lot of fun lore behind the place. Everything about Shuga’s is spot-on.“

“This place deserves WAY MORE than 5 stars. The personal attention & professionalism of the staff is unmatched. Stephanie was our Server & she was top notch 👌 Carlos continued to check on our table as well & chatting with him was enlightening.
I am a Google Local Guide, Level 8 & have been writing reviews on restaurants for many years. When I tell you this place is FABULOUS, I mean it. They made sure that our Valentine's Dinner was so lovely & we are so grateful. 💝

“This is one of the best experiences I’ve had going out to restaurants. The physical place was very cool and designed great. The menu is awesome and creative. Once the food came it was incredible and far more than I had imagined. I talked with the owner who had a great attitude and you can see the passion he put into all the details as well as every employee and the chef who created this awesome menu and has been there since the beginning 11yrs ago. Even the servers had great attitudes and brought their each personalities along with them to each table. Our server was Lila, and was thee best server I’ve ever had. Just a very special person with a beautiful heart. Please everyone, if you get the opportunity to go don’t hesitate at having a very very special time. “This place is SO GOOD! I’ve had sushi at other places around town and this is hands down the best. The food presentation was beautifully displayed with lots of flowers and fruit. “I've traveled a lot and consider myself a foodie. This place makes the best sandwich I've ever had. Spicy Italian - no onions. (Don't worry, it's not too spicy. It really feels like I found a hidden gem every time I order here.
Their bread is also phenomenal. Grab a loaf, get there early before they sell out!“

“My husband, son and I enjoyed lunch at this establishment. It was delicious. A shout out for your berry salad and your teriaki chicken! We are back home in St Louis now and I miss your food already. Our waiter happened to be from Edwardsville, IL and he was great! Both tables next to us were also from Missouri too. Fun atmosphere!“

“If I could give this place and the ladies that work there 10 ⭐ I would. We are gluten free and if you are to you understand Chinese Food is usually a no go zone... Nope not this place and it's not weird version of it either.
The egg roll takes longer but GET IT !!!! Trust me it's worth the wait I could have just eaten that.

“It's a small place, but it has some good atmosphere. While I was sitting at the bar, I saw multiple interactions that would suggest regular customers, always a good sign. I got the Appalachian coffee and the biscuits and gravy, and both were good. The service was quick, but I didn't feel rushed. I would recommend trying this place out.“

“Love this place and the awesome owners, who are always on-site making the best pizza in town! We personally love the thin crust pizza with alfredo, green peppers and sausage. Their taco pizza is also wicked good. These folks not only know how to make some fantastic pizza, but understamd the importance of customer service. When an error was made on a recent order, they went above and beyond to make it right, and did so with a smile. It was clear we were valued as customers. Places like this are hard to find. So glad they are in the Springs!“

“This has been my daughter's and my go-to place when we decide to dine out casually. The cozy dining room is typically not too full and there's interesting Thai decor to look at. The food is good! And it has been pretty much unchanged for years! This is a plus because their current yakitori recipe is fantastic! Service is consistent and friendly and she will likely remember you once you've been there a few times.“
