“Heya so I wondered in here and man the food is good ! The owner.. I think I talked to the owner / Chef . Very intense, big accent . No disrespect but I have a hearing problem and the place is loud ! Like no joke ! It’s expensive so I would assume their clients are a bit older, so loud heavy accent, Intense! the dude is obviously passionate, but man! Odd choice.. w the loud music and super intense presentation. again the food ! Crazy goood the soup to die for etc.

After a couple of minutes we were greeted by our server, “Ariel.” She was fantastic. She knew the menu well and made some great recommendations for us to try. Everything we had was simply amazing. From the short ribs to the Saigon French dip we were just blown away by the flavors. The calamari appetizer was great too. Then came the desserts. “This is my favorite bakery in Colorado. I’ve never had a bad experience. My favorite loafs are the seeded red (every day) and the cheddar herb (Saturdays). All their loaves have a delicious crust while still being soft (great crumb). The seeded red makes for a great bread for sandwiches and avocado toast. The cheddar herb is my go to for dinner parties. The tray is always empty by the end of the night. I like slightly toasting it and pairing it with soups.

Their buns are also delicious. The jalapeño cheddar pairs well toasted with ham. I eat the fruit and fennel bun plain for a dessert.

Because it is fresh bread, it can go stale easily. However, it freezes like a dream. I usually cut it in half, wrap a half in a paper then plastic bag, and put in the freezer. Give a couple hours to thaw. The texture and taste does not suffer.

The pastries and sandwiches are also amazing. The chocolate croissant is melt in your mouth. The salmon sandwich is my go to for a lazy lunch.

The prices very good for the quality and amount. The only thing to keep in mind is that they usually sell out Saturdays. I recommend either going on a not Saturday or trying to get there near opening.“

“If you're ever in Manitou Springs, be sure to visit Uncle Sam's Pancake House. We were welcomed immediately at the door with a genuine smile from the hostess, I wish I had caught her name. She showed us immediately to a table (BTW the tables were nicely spaced out so you DIDN'T feel like you were sitting in the next table's lap). We sat at the table for less than a minute before our waiter, Parker, greeted us with ice water and enthusiasm. When asked, Parker was ready with recommendations from the menu. I decided on the French toast with peach topping and it was out of this world! My teen son tried the biscuits and gravy which did not disappoint and over easy eggs (that were cooked perfectly). My husband quite enjoyed the country omelet and avocado toast. Another employee, Julianna, made sure our drinks were full and seemed to be a great support there. Food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. If I HAD to say anything negative, the coffee wasn't bad, but it also wasn't awesome. I wish I could bring this clean, delicious, establishment along with the friendly, attentive staff to my hometown so that I could be a regular there!“

“Love this place and the awesome owners, who are always on-site making the best pizza in town! We personally love the thin crust pizza with alfredo, green peppers and sausage. Their taco pizza is also wicked good. These folks not only know how to make some fantastic pizza, but understamd the importance of customer service. When an error was made on a recent order, they went above and beyond to make it right, and did so with a smile. It was clear we were valued as customers. Places like this are hard to find. So glad they are in the Springs!“

“Mo's Diner is the only place to eat in Colorado! I recently spent two weeks vacationing in Manitou Springs, and found Mo's Diner while walking through the town. Delicious food, breakfast and lunch, a friendly, welcoming staff, and a perfect location. I'll be coming back each and every year, for the food and the company!“

Lately, all of the curries I have orders from various places around town have had about 5 pieces of protein and the rest sauce. Not this time! There was ample protein in the massaman curry. “I was visiting family in Colorado and we decided to get Korean food. The food here was so delicious that we had to go back a second time in our short, one week trip!

We started with a seafood pancake that was super crispy and full of seafood; definitely the best appetizer for the table. We tried the bulgigi, LA galbi, soybean paste stew and spicy soft tofu stew. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The soups came out boiling hot and the meats were juicy and well marinated. Even the small dishes were really good!“
