“7-day a week Happy Hour from 4 pm to 6 pm -- Woo Hoo! Get there early as there are only around 10 seats at the bar but this Happy Hour is so outstanding you want to work your way through all the items -- how about a Margherita Pizza for $7! Or a Dry-Aged Cheeseburger Platter with Fries for $12! Or Truffle Fries as a great snack with a cocktail for $5! And on top of that last night (11-14-22) I had the best Prosciutto I've had in years as part of an Antipasti and if I'd gotten that alone it would have been just $5!!! The place is lovely and the staff are all very gracious and hospitable -- this Happy Hour gets my 5 stars!!!“

“this is the only restaurant my family goes to. We started going here and just never stopped. The food is THAT good. But it’s not just about the food, the workers there genuinely want to know us and work so hard to give you a beautiful experience. They are so kind, and go out of their way every time we’re there to provide quality guest service. They gave us a home away from home.

My 4 year old is on hospice, and she can’t travel in the car at all. So we walk a few times a week over and it’s like going to Disney World. It makes us so happy! My daughter feels so comfortable there! My husband is also a wheelchair user and they always are so quick to easily accommodate us.

Every time we get a new experience for our taste buds and it’s always delicious. The food is 10 out of 10. It truly kept the integrity of whole food ingredients, and also giving my brain that dopamine hit lol!“

“This place was an amazing walk down memory lane! Not to mention, the pizza was really good and the staff super friendly. Be sure and play some video games before you leave! We arrived around 11am when they opened, and they were really busy as we were leaving. Recommend arriving early so you can get the best pictures! Loved watching the videos as well.“

“Funkwerks has been my favorite brewery since I found it in 2017. The beer has always satisfies and tastes GREAT, especially their sours. The atmosphere has always been top notch with great outdoor seating. It’s the beertenders that make it special time and time again. Master horticulturalists and history teachers alike have served me at this establishment. Charlotte is a particularly good fit at Funkwerks, always super nice and a good conversationalist. Plus she brings the beer every time. ? Funkwerks for life.

“Helene and I spent last night in Fort Collins, CO after a very long day on the road. We decided we had a yen for Indian food, and a little Internet research put Star of India in the top three Indian restaurants in town (out of six - which in itself was a little unexpected). Although we had hoped to sit and eat outside on the patio with our small dog, disappointingly the restaurant’s policy woulld not allow this, so we decided on take-out instead. The restaurant staff bent over backwards to be pleasant and helpful after our initial disappointment, the food was prepared and packed quickly, and Gideon (who I think was a supervisor) was a pleasure to deal with. Back in our hotel room, the food proved to be everything we could have hoped for. Still piping hot after a half hour in the carry out bag, every dish was aromatic and flavorful. We had lamb samosas and yellow lentil dhal as appetizers - both delicious! As entrees, Helene had Butter Chicken, and I had Chicken Tikka Tandoori with a Korma sauce. We ate them with naan bread, and again both were excellent! This was the best Indian meal I have had in at least a couple of years, and I am really glad we pushed past the initial dog policy disappointment. I would heartily recommend Star of India to anyone living in or passing through Fort Collins - and we will definitely be repeat customers.“

The menu said it was served with beans but it came with beans, rice, lettuce and tomato. 👍🏼👍🏼 The service was excellent, the food was excellent - I really enjoyed my lunch, thank you Pueblo Viejo!! “Nice place to stop for a drink. There is free parking behind the building. The winery is next door, if ppl in your party would prefer to drink wine instead. There was a ton of shaded outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed outside and they're allowed to come.insode with you while you order. Only service dogs are allowed inside, otherwise. For the non-alcohol drinkers, they had local root beer by the bottle, which was delicious.“
