“I came here around 3:30 on a Monday, shortly before their happy hour. I think I was the only person in the restaurant and chose to sat at the bar. My server/bartender, Rachel, was awesome the entire time - both in the beginning when it was just me and even at the end of my time about 2 hours later when she was rending to darn near 15 people. The food and drink were GREAT (I had the fig and goat cheese Flatbread twice, the melon snd prosciutto martini, the Avistion gin cocktail, and the Fava Toast, plus a cappuccino) but Rachel really msde it an awesome experience. She has such a sense of warmth and humor that I appreciated and she helped me pick between options on the menu when I wasn't sure. In particular, I thought she was one of the most attentive servers I've had in a long time - I rarely filled up my own water even though I could've and clean dishes were regularly brought to me seamlessly. I noticed how much she engaged with each of her patrons - familiar faces and nee ones - taking care of everyone around the bar area as a one woman show. I think it's a rare thing for someone to be both really good at their job and a delightful human, but Rachel accomplished that so well. She deserves a shout out and all the kudos that goes with it!“

“I have hearing loss. I asked for I quiet table. The management was TERRIFIC in accommodating my needs; I was offered the choice of three tables. The service was excellent too. If you've had egg rolls, chow mein, and orange chicken and didn't really get what all the fuss with Chinese food was about, this is a place to check out to set the record straight!

I had the Fish in a Chili Oil Broth and it was hot, savory, and HUGE! Lots of Szechuan peppercorns which I love and plenty of rice to soak up the sauce. Enough food to feed two comfortably.

“This is officially our new favorite tapas in Denver! I had the best two different mezcal margaritas that I’ve ever had. The plates were very big as tapas go, and everything was delicious. It was very fairly priced given the large portion sizes. I especially recommend the chef’s choice cheese and the garlic trio. Service was the best part of a wonderful experience, and we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful chef, who explained each dish to us and made recommendations. We will absolutely be back.“

“We had the most outstanding dinner tonight. Everything was on point from the atmosphere, to the food and beverage selection. Our server, Bri, was so welcoming and gave us some of the best recommendations for mezcal, cocktails and which tapas to order.
We got the Corn Sour and Colada- both highly recommend. There are so many mezcals to choose from but the two we got were different enough from each other and were both so smooth (see photos).
We started with the tostada de toro, their dry aged tuna was melt in your mouth decadent and the whole tostada was so flavorful. They display their dry aged tuna on the wall and it really added to the aesthetic of their open kitchen.
The second dish was the burrita de chicharrón- the most delicious pork burrito with homemade flour tortilla I’ve ever had with a flavorful salsa on the side.
Third was the costillal de res, a bowl of braised short rib, black beans and chilled with a side of corn masa tortillas. I don’t even know what to say it was the best taco situation I’ve had in a long time.
We wanted to try one more thing and had the tlacato de pato- a slightly spicy duck dish. So tender and filling. I had some corn tortillas left and made a taco out of that, perfection.
They don’t openly have a dessert menu but there is one thing they serve and it’s a surprise- the most delicious one ever so go check out this restaurant and try it all!!

You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. “Fantastic place, you can't go wrong. The service is unmatched. The fish is very tender and fresh, especially if you follow the waiter's suggestions. They are very generous, as well. Rolls are well filled and flavorful, plus their special rolls are topped with cuts as well. You can get a large meal for two with drinks for around $100 out the door and will really feel you've got your money's worth. The decor is a bit strange, but it's kind of amusing and charming.“

I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. We had eggplant, the famous brown butter egg dish, grilled pork, crudo, and jelly dessert. The pork was our favorite of the bunch, as well as the crudo. The egg dish gets a lot of attention. I thought it was fine, but believe most of the flavor there is the brown butter. It did not live up to the hype for me. All the food was yummy, but there is nothing that truly blew me away.
The service on the other hand did. Our server was amazing. So attentive, yet chill, and very good at reading her customers. She was probably the best server I have ever experienced. Very nice atmosphere and professional staff. This was stand out.
