“As someone with a shellfish allergy this is my favorite spot. The food is amazing, the service is amazing and I can enjoy sushi! They have been willing to swap out some rolls so I can enjoy them. (Example a Cali roll with mango salsa but they were willing to do a Philly with mango salsa. ) this has become our go to sushi!“

“I was delightfully surprised by the quality of sushi at sushi basho! The "pirate roll" and "wasabi roll" were bursting with novel flavor, and the toro and hamachi were some of the best I've had outside of Japan. The staff was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was plain and pleasant. I can't wait to go back! とても美味しかった“

“My intent was to keep it simple, Jimmy John's right next door was only original destination. I saw the sign It was rated at 4.7 almost unheard of for a restaurant. Well that peak to my interest and so I went inside and had an awesome dinner. I went in late like 8:30 p.m. they welcomed me in, even though all the benches were up on the tables. The restaurant was immaculately clean. The food's amazing, bonus it was healthy.“

“My husband would give this 6 stars if he could. He got the special baked unagi- he said it was absolutely amazing. I ordered the basil fried rice- I would get it without jalapeños next time as it took over the flavor. The cream cheese wontons are awesome. Will be back“

“We would definitely recommend JP’s!! While living in Roxborough it was always one of our favorite places to eat 😊 We have since moved away, but will make the drive for this amazing food. Always fresh and hot and the service has always been great too!“

“Came here for their lunch special and it was awesome! There were several options for the 11.99 lunch special, and then even more for 12.99 lunch special. The kung pao chicken was only 11.99 and came with choice of soup, a great large spring roll, two scoops of rice and a very decent portion of chicken/veggies/peanuts/peppers with two dipping sauces on the side. Grabbed lunch alone, so just popped a seat at the small bar and they had food out in no more than 5 minutes. Will definitely be coming back, thanks!

“So I'm gluten intolerant and don't really ever have many options at sushi or Chinese restaurants until I found this place. They have soooo many gluten options that I cried happy tears. My friend and I ordered the Sesame chicken, mongolian beef, and a few sushi rolls, and everything came out amazing. All items that are breaded are made with Rice flour.“
