“We chose Urban Field to do the catering for our wedding at River Bend in July. Paul invited us to their restaurant in Longmont for a tasting and we knew after meeting with Nick and trying the food/drinks that we wanted them to feed our people! We could just tell that Nick really loves and cares about what he does. He sat and chatted with us and brought us plate after plate of lovingly made, GREAT food, dessert, boxed up our leftovers, and even sent me home with a big container of their ranch that I loved. Paul, Nick, and Darrin were all amazing to work with and many of our guest said it was the best food they have EVER had at a wedding. They all worked patiently with us to create custom menus with some of our favorite foods. The late night pizzas...no words. It was also great working with Darrin to create our signature cocktails and coordinate our alcohol order--he really went above and beyond day of, giving us our leftover premixed signature cocktails and sending the leftover food home with us as well. He was running around all day (calmly) making sure everything food/drink went smoothly. Thank you so much Paul, Chef Nick, and Darrin and the whole UF team!“

“Great meal at Carciofi in Prospect last night. Great cocktails, all pasta made in house, friendly and prompt service. Best Cacio e Pepe I've had in quite a while and my wife really enjoyed her Aglio e Olio Artichoke Pasta. We had Honey Goat Cheese Schmear on French Bread and Smoked Salmon Bites to start. Both delicious. Tiramisu was light and fluffy! We enjoyed a nice bottle of Chianti Classico but would be nice to have another 10 items from Italy on the list.Cute spot; will be back!“

Our server Alejandra was absolutely amazing before we ordered she noticed my husband wasn't feeling well asked if he was okay explaining that he just got out of surgery she brought him a little bowl of chicken soup and some crackers to hold him over. The food was so amazing. I can't wait to go back. Just want to say this was amazing service, and you went above and beyond, so thank you.“

“Updated for Easter: Six of us went and enjoyed ourselves. Two had chicken and pasta dishes, three had shrimp ? scampi (1 GF), and one had a pesto dish with shrimp. Salads were very fresh, bread was hot, and large servings required doggie bags. The second room was relatively quiet. Very pleasant adult family dinner with 3 generations. Had to pass on dessert since they were out of spumoni. The manicotti was lukewarm, but tasted very good. The cannoli was very bad. On the positive side, the cannoli filling was put in prior to serving in order to keep the shells crispy. The filling was more like ice cream than ricotta and confectioners sugar. Either the ricotta wasn't drained well, not enough sugar was used, and/or it was not kept cold. See the Niwot location for how to make properly. Plus, don't try to stick a single patron at the bar--especially when only a handful of tables are in use and it's close to closing. Waitstaff should remove the phrase "only one" from their vocabulary.“

“I very rarely speak well of an Italian restaurant because so many either pump out over-americanized versions of the same four dishes, or they act like it has to be fancy to be good. Caprese Trattoria understands that really good food isn't some cliché, it's a true cornerstone to Italian culture. The fact that the food is SO...DANG...GOOD and the atmosphere is underwhelming is absolutely perfect to me. I feel like I'm back at my Great Aunt Gloria's house. The staff were very pleasant, and the bar was dialed in. We can't wait to go back again and again.“

“My husband and I were about to drive past Longmont but decided to look for some Italian food instead. I had the mushroom ravioli and added a meatball and sausage. My meal was delicious! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive too.My only complaint is I'm accustomed to getting a piece of garlic bread or bread of some kind with a dinner plate. When you drop $18 for ravioli PLUS another $7 to add protein to your meal, I feel a piece of bread is in order. A garlic knot, maybe, to wipe up the sauce remnants (like every American does lol). I don't think that is a big ask for the price tag that came with my meal... otherwise, nice visit.“

“I’m not someone who usually writes reviews, but the customer service at this restaurant was above and beyond any place I’ve visited in a while. Our server Sandy was new, but knew her menu well. They provided a complimentary appetizer for is, being new customers…nice touch!!My friend ordered a bid your own pizza, the person who made it didn’t like how it looked, remade a fresh one for her to take home and brought one out so she would have to wait to eat.I ordered a pasta dish I didn’t like, they made me something else and the owner came it to talk with us. Comped my dinner. My second choice pasta dish was AMAZING, the Manhattan Mac & Cheese…5 star sauce. It seems that as an employee it must be comforting to know your owner backs up being able to take care of the customer. I pray employees are taken care of as well as we were as customers. For me atmosphere and excellent customer service are challenging to find these days. I will define return“

“Chose this place to celebrate my birthday with my family, as neither of us has ever been here before. Every single thing we had was amazing! The artichoke appetizers were my favorite, but equally great were the olives and fried tortellinis. Had the fettuchini with vodka sauce and mushrooms, that was so delicious I couldn't wait to eat my leftovers the next morning. I also had the sundae brownie with a scoop of vanilla gelato, that brownie was warm and moist, it was phenomenal!“

“I am a sucker for local pizza places... local places are great, but honestly pizza in general lol. It's a food group of mine at the present. I understand that Abo's has a number of locations, but the Erie spot has hooked me in completely. We've ordered delivery from this location more times than I can count in the last year and it's been phenomenal each time. It's unfortunate that there are other Yelpers that have had less than stellar experiences - whether delivery or in person. Abo's has a website that you can easily place an order to pick up or have delivered rather than calling in to the restaurant. I'll be honest and say that I prefer that lol. The website is very easy to navigate and there are none of the BS service charges that we've all come to accept from larger delivery services like Doordash or Uber Eats (thanks pandemic). There are no update text messages or anything to notify you of status changes after you place your order, unfortunately, but in my experience, calling and asking has been helpful. We are typically quoted a time frame through the website, and each time we have placed an order, our deliveries have arrived at our front door within a reasonable amount of time and the kids handing us our glorious pies have been friendly and personable. We've never had an order go wrong, take too long, etc. Abo's is expensive in the same way that anything nowadays is, but if you're feeling a hankering for pizza or just feel lazy and don't want to cook dinner, this spot is a great place to consider giving business to. Heck, I might even order some more pizza tonight... LOL.“
