The location is in a wonderful neighborhood, the building is warm and inviting, the menu simple and covers a breadth of savory and sweet ideas all named after towns in North Carolina and a build your own biscuit for those who want to customize. I think the menu had less than a dozen options all focused on biscuits that were just the right size. My Café Latte was very good just wish it had been a little bit hotter. My only issue was the ramkin of jam I purchased was way too small especially for the price. You always need jam with a biscuit.“

“We booked for breakfast at 10.00am on a Saturday morning and were seated and our order taken within five minutes. The food was cooked to perfection and arrived within twenty minutes along with the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. The staff were extremely polite and very friendly and everyone who entered the cafe was seated with with the minimum of fuss. The cafe is not overcrowded with tables and feels very comfortable but there is also an outside undercover seating area and an uncovered seating area in a garden at the back of the cafe. Overall a very enjoyable experience which I would highly recommend.“

The one staff there was really nice but has been well trained to follow management’s unwelcoming rules. I take my pup everywhere. This was the FIRST place we’ve not been allowed. Perhaps the owners should move to a state that doesn’t like pets because I’v taken my dog into grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. “I've been here a few times for a chai fix; my most recent experience was being the in-laws. We were walking around Golden and stopped for some coffee - I got the spicy chai (have had the sweet and ginger turmeric previously). I was a little disappointed with this one, the depth of flavor was lacking but there was a slight bite to it at the end. The place overall is super cute and is always busy. I like how they have a kids corner in the back for children to play in! Overall will continue to stop here for coffee if I'm in town.“
