“Absolutely the best pizza in Colorado that we have ever had! We reside in Gunbarrel and make the drive almost every Monday for some delicious pies, brews, & great conversation with the bartenders! Kara is awesome!”

“I love this place and eat it weekly--If I don't, I crave it. Absolute soul food that nothing can replicate. The spices and flavors are incredible. My favorites are the saag and jal fregi--but haven't been disappointed by anything.”

“Born and raised in the northeast, and it’s tough to find a classic deli with great sandwiches out here. So glad to have Deli at 8236! Great quality ingredients, and the bread is fantastic! What a gem up in Ned!”

“Love this place! We stayed in town for our honeymoon & this quickly became our favorite place. The structure itself is made from old train cars & the atmosphere is wonderful. There’s a music & game room in addition to the ample seating, making this place feel like a second home. Please try them out if you’re in town!”
“Best Brewery in the nation. Small town community vibes with genuinely phenomenal beer. Great across the board!!! Worth a trip to the mountains!”
“Small winery that is a one-woman show. All of her grapes are sourced in Colorado. The wines we tried were very good and reasonably priced - and it was so much fun talking with the owner/winemaker. Very enjoyable visit. Highly recommend.”

“My husband and I grabbed coffees and a breakfast burrito from New Moon this morning before we hit the long road home. The space is clean and cozy, and the staff are very friendly. I had an iced crème brûlée latte that was absolute heaven, and my husband had an iced americano which was delicious as well. The real star though was the bacon and egg breakfast burrito! First of all, it was huge! Stuffed with eggs, bacon, melted cheese, guacamole, and pico. My husband and I agreed that it was the best breakfast burrito we’ve ever had. We look forward to visiting this spot the next time we visit Nederland.”

“What a great place! Small location with a nice patio out front. The service was excellent, and our server was very attentive and helpful with menu questions. I think the enchiladas I had were probably the best enchiladas I’ve had in years! They cooked cheese on the outside of the tortilla, which left a nice shell and slight crunch. Very impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious! I wish we lived closer and could come here more often.
Parking: Not a lot of parking for the line of businesses”

“We were in the Nederland area and were hungry. It has been a number of years, and we discovered our old spot, Neapolitan's, closed.
We set out to find another spot. We found parking after about 20 minutes of looking and walked down the street to Busey Brews Smokhouse & Brews. We were greeted by the hostess and opted to sit in the back area behind the bar.
Just for clarity, they have seating on the front porch, in by the bar area, behind the bar area and downstairs.
Note, they are a cashless restaurant, but you can pay with cash if you choose.
After you are seated, you scan a QR code to order drinks and food. If you are paying by cash, just advise so and flag someone down to order for you. Order via QR code and paying via a secure paying method are definitely the desired approach.
I will say that everyone working here was friendly, and customer service-oriented.
We ordered the wings, salad, and spicy sausage sandwich - which came with coleslaw.
The food took a while to arrive, which surprised me. I had the sausage, and it was a tad spicy, but not too hot. The coleslaw was good, but a little too liquidity for me. Both were good.
The wings were good, and so was the side salad ordered.
We did not order any beer, as we still had another hour to drive.
I've captured some pictures of the place and the food we had.
I would return, but I would probably try a different establishment just to see how it compares. This is a great place to visit with friends, and have many good discussions.
Parking: Parking can be difficult to find. There is street parking and a free parking lot about 1/4 mile walk down the street, but spots are scares. Finally, there are several paid parking lots in the area. Some are attended.”

“This has been my most frequented restaurant as a Ned resident, as it has become a safe place to enjoy a phenomenal craft beer selection and slice of pizza. The recent staff changes and management by Charlie has improved the quality of this treasured spot, and everyone should be proud/happy of their efforts, including Tim! :)”

“If you're in Nederland, CO, you absolutely have to stop by the Covered Wagon Restaurant and Saloon! Hands down, the best bartender in town is Amy—she made our entire experience so memorable with her friendly service and great recommendations. We were so impressed with the food that we came back the very next day to enjoy it again. The atmosphere was cozy, and the overall experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for great food and amazing service, this is the place to be! Amy definitely made our visit unforgettable!”

“We love that there is a local option for a stellar brewery in Gilpin County! We took two half growlers home and my husband (the wordsmith that he is) came up with the idea that you should call them “The Howler” Much ❤️ to Howlin Wind 😘”

“We brought our family (including 4 kids 🤪) here to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the service was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and everyone was so kind (a family of 6 can be a lot to deal with!) While it was very family friendly, it would also make a lovely spot for a date night. We look forward to returning soon!”

“Great food and Roy is a great guy. We like to come up for lunch while out on a ride. The last time we were here last month (August) we split a pizza for lunch, was great. I said I wanted a sundae and Rot took me back to the kitchen and built this huge sundae. Roy and Barb are super people. Dave & Connie”
