⚠️ TO THE SPICE LOVERS OUT THERE ⚠️ Many reviewers say that it’s really hot chicken. If you eat spicy foods regularly and have a higher tolerance, I would suggest ordering extra hot or the hottest option available. I tried hot which is 2 below the hottest available option. It had heat to it, but it wasn’t in the optimal area of satisfaction VS spice. Coming from a person that eats more spicy things than the average person.

Nonetheless I enjoyed the meal and absolutely clobbered it. The pickles offered on the side are a nice touch. They taste fresh, and I’m sure go well with any slider or tender. I chose to eat them on their own, which I imagine can be a nice spice break if you order one of the hotter options. The sliders that we had (pictured) had cheese added… and alongside the coleslaw I’m sure numbed some of the pain.

Overall as a spice lover… I was left satisfied but wondering just how good it could get. So I recommend if you like spicy spicy things try extra hot at a minimal. If you don’t like spice at all order something much less and you will still have an enjoyable experience. It’s good chicken no doubt, blows Caine’s out of the water as far as quality goes. Small, simple menu that delivers the execution you expect from a chain with such dedication to smaller perfections!“

“5 stars is not enough for The Post. We came for the Thursday special of pot pie with three people who LOVE chicken pot pie. Our waiter Dominic was so helpful and friendly. He checked to make sure they still had pot pie and had them open every warmer to find us the last three in the building. It was worth the trouble. These pot pies were extraordinary. The crust is flaky and the middle just felt like comfort. The chicken has fantastic flavor.
We also enjoyed the chicken thighs as well as our 4th friend had a chicken sandwich. Everything was prepared hot and fresh. Do yourself a huge favor and go on a Thursday for this pot pie!!“

“It was helpful to know it is inside Whole Foods, thank you previous commentors. Ordering is off a touch screen & items are customizable. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce, cheese, aoli & no bacon jam, tots and a ginger coleslaw( it had no mayo which was perfect for me), plus a side of sweet mustard+0.50 & 16 oz drink. The chicken was cooked well, not dry & the flavors worked well together. Tots were crispy, coleslaw was fresh and tasty. No complaints. It was $22 including tax. So on the spendier side, but fresh and filling, boasting natural ingredients. Worth it, imo.
I had no interaction with staff, there was a digital board indicating when my order was up and I gave my phone# and was notified that way where to pick it up. Very efficient.“

“We love Rico Pollo and we eat at almost all of them. We particularly drove to this one from Greeley Colorado to eat here and they kicked us out. We had 10 minutes sweet. They didn’t wanna even let us eat there. I made them allow us to eat there if the door sign and if Google says you’re close by nine, then that’s what time you close not 15 or 20 minutes early. That’s bad customer service.“

“The fried chicken is better than KFC but at a much better price and the proprietors are very kind. They also have these biscuits that are so delicious, almost like a blueberry scone, crispy and flaky and moist on the inside. They have other things I want to try but I find myself buying the chicken again because it’s so delicious.“
