“By far the best restaurant in Denver. From the moment you walk in you're welcomed by an incredibly well trained front of house staff, while the open concept kitchen and intimate atmosphere allow the kitchen staff and Chef Michael to interact with the guests in a completely unpretentious manner, creating an all encompassing experience from start to finish. Each dish is beautifully composed and thoughtful, some may call it 'tweezer' food, but this tweezer food has heart, has soul. It's modern and innovative but taste like comfort, invites you to savor each bite and leaves you wanting for the next. While the food is memorable on it's own, the cocktail and wine pairings are not to be ignored, both options are incredible, and listening to the artists that pick and craft these libations explain their thought process is akin to listening a storyteller around a fire, immersive and brilliant. An absolute experience from start to finish that I'm always honored to be apart of.“
“Establishing my daughter in Denver today. We found this place in her new neighborhood and scored a win for her first lunch in her new home. She got the tika chicken tacos and I got the mushroom tacos. Loved them both. The only odd thing is that they added a 20% tip automatically for a party of two. Too bad they were so forceful, I would have tipped more.“
“Everything about this spot is phenomenal. Have tried all the tacos now and each has been top notch. Fresh chips, solid guac/queso. Tasty dranks and their happy hour goes longer/later than most. Service has been extremely friendly and quick at the bar each time.“
“Got to VIB in Denver last night. Stopped up to McDevitt Taco Supply roof top restaurant and bar. Happy hour was in progress. Sampled 4 different tacos. All excellent bursts of flavor. And the MTS staff and owners are excellent. This is what a first class experience is supposed to be.“
“This place is 100% worth the trip while in Denver. They let us know beforehand that the wait was 45 minutes for food after ordering, but it ended up being much less. The staff was very friendly and helpful. THE TACOS AND HORCHATA WERE INCREDIBLE. My only concern was that there isn't a ton of seating, but that's because so many people are coming though because the food is SO GOOD!“
“Good luck cousins, these tacos were very delicious! The seasoning would be on point and the meat was of good quality. Hopefully you can come back very early for more! This place knows how to make some tacos, they were delicious! They were seasoned well and the meat was pretty good quality. Hopefully I can make it back soon for more!“
“This has to be one of the best taco places in Colorado, and you can’t beat 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays! Don’t forget to add your own toppings before heading out, too! The pastor is INCREDIBLE and the tortillas are so fresh. 12/10 recommend this place!“
“We love going to this place, the food is incredible ?& everyone who works there is nice & helpful. ?We placed a large order the other night & it turned out great. We will go to them for catering again for sure! The 36 tacos we ordered were eaten to fast, I failed to get a pic of those!Kid-friendliness: They have coloring books, crayons, diaper changing station, high chairs & kid friendly staff“
“My fiance brought me here after a Google search and it's some of the best Mexican food we can get in Denver. Plus it is really affordable so we are able to leave a bigger tip. Our son loved it too. Only complaint is salsa was very very spicy for our taste but it's still delicious, so I don't mind at all! Gonna come back here a lot from now on! It was super busy and they are open until 10pm, we went around 7:30pm.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available for several menu itemsKid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“Machete Gourmet is awesome! The ramen is the BEST we’ve ever had! The consume is ??.We sampled a few items and everything was very delicious! We drove 73 miles to try it and we were not disappointed! Bring your own camping chairs as it’s a food truck with no seating!“
“I've always loved this taco truck. I've been eating out of that truck for years while also exploring other tacos spots and this one remains my favorite. The owners provide great service and food! They are also very reasonably priced.“
“We had our first date here and had to come back! You can order from your phone which makes the service quick and easy. Never felt pressure from our servers. Margaritas are flavorful and the tacos have a great variety. When in Denver, give it a try!“
“It's hard to overstate how important this truck is to me. I make plans with my friends, they ask me to bring them to Tacos Pachuco. When I go to a gas station, I take out cash just so I have it on hand for Tacos Pachuco. I come about once a week, and the entire time I've been doing it, Tacos Pachuco has delivered exactly what I am craving, every single time. The service is as fast as it needs to be. The atmosphere is a parking lot on Washington. The staff are friendly, the food is second to none. I would travel miles for these tacos, and in the future I probably will. Thank you for the food, Tacos Pachuco.“
“This authentic taco shop is a hidden gem! The vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients make each taco a taste sensation. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh tortillas, every detail is a testament to their commitment to authenticity making it a must-try for taco enthusiasts.“
“Incredible tacos- I was a big fan of the previous restaurant in this location but dare I say these tacos are even better. Convenient location right off I-70 and easy to get to now that construction is done. Got the pastor and birria and both were great. Tortillas are on point too. If I had to choose between my mail and these tacos it would be a tough choice.“
“The food was very tasty. We shared the nachos, which changed with every layer you uncovered. I then had the birria tacos, and my friend had the steak burrito. I was so full from the nachos that I had to take most of my taco meal home for later. Just as yummy reheated! Margaritas are on the tart side but tasty. We got there just as they opened, so it was pretty empty, but I bet they fill up the place regularly. It would be a great summer patio spot. Decor was very attractive. Service was great, very attentive.“
“The food here is genuinely incredible! I had the chicken taquitos which sit in puréed beans and queso topped with crema, cotija cheese, pico, lettuce and pickled onions. The queso is DELICIOUS! The flavor combo was perfect and the service and staff were great. We will definitely be back for more!“
“Best service ever!!!!.....I was craving a chicken tostada which is not on the menu, the owner went above and beyond and made me 2 chicken tostadas, they were so good. They should definitely add it to the menu. Thank you Huequito for going the extra mile to make your customers happy!!!...Beat Food Ever!!!!“
“Tasty traditional 3" street tacos with lots of meat options. Other food options too. Good selection of beverages. Exactly what you'd expect from a Latin food truck - delicious food.Usually a wait but it isn't long - good place for a quick bite.Located at the east side of the Park Hill Supermarket parking lot.“
“I really enjoyed the carne asada tacos and carne asada torta. It was fresh and flavorful. There's a large parking lot in the back. The lady taking the order was nice and spoke English. The service was pretty quick. I was there on an early Saturday so it was quiet and chill when I went. Would go back if I'm ever in the area.“
“A friend recommended the tacos Al pastor, delicious ?. The agua de pepino is also delicious, all the ingredients are fresh and tasted fresh. The salsas are also delicious. I recommend trying it with someone so you can share the other items. PLUS THEY ARE NOW OPEN SATURDAYS!!“
“friendly staff and fair pricing. tacos aren’t gonna be $1/$2 when they have such fresh ingredients. i tried the steak and the chicken and both were grilled fresh with plenty of seasonings. really enjoyed all the tacos and for 6 tacos and a drink i was all in $25.00. really fresh toppings that make the flavors pop out.i have yet to try a quesadilla or a burrito so at this time i would highly recommend the tacos!“
“AMAZING! I just cannot get over how delicious & amazing this food truck is. And they have camarone tacos?!?! Not many do & it’s delicious!! I love that they give you cucumbers, asada, & lime on the side too! I will definitely be back. Thank you for the delicious food! Made my week :)“
“Sonny’s is a lovely hidden gem in this neighborhood. Delicious food, well made drinks and wonderful service to top it off.The owner makes you feel at home and treats you like family, Joy at the bar makes sure your drink is never empty. The tacos, and food are local and well made, and thought out. We will continue to frequent this lovely place. Get the Hawaiian tacos and the wings- you won’t regret it.“
“A very great place with great food, generous portions, and patient service. Speak some English but spanish proffered.Vegetarian options: My dad's avoiding meat and they put something together for him.Kid-friendliness: No alcohol or loud obnoxious TVs and friendly service.“
“Found this place while I was out doing door dash. The only disappointment I have is that I didn't find this place sooner. The tacos are packed with meat and flavor at a reasonable price. I recommend ordering the pastor and asada tacos ? .“
“I like the food here the pretzels with cheese are yummy as well as the nachos. Only critique of this place is the hostesses never know when happy hour is. The last two times I went the hostess said happy hour was over before the time that was reflected on the website. Then I ask my waiter and they say it’s still happy hour. Super weird but this has happened the last two times idk if they’re trying to save a buck or what“
“Very good Authentic Mexican food. Prepared with some fresh ingredients and lots of love! This will now be my go to spot when I come to Denver.TRUCKERS this place is just a little walk from the TA truck stop. Way better than that truck stop food.Friendly service as well.“
“Go for the beeritas!! The food is not what will keep you coming back.Packed tonight. Great customer service, they rotate the menu quite frequently for beeritas and added new items to the food menu, but got rid of the red beans, and that's a bummer to me. Will always be a quick and easy choice!“
“El Compita was referred by an employee and boy was he right! Not only did this establishment provide great breakfast burritos they went above and beyond the call of duty. I had no idea that to accommodate my request they had to open earlier than usual to make sure my order was ready on time for our meeting. Customer service is very lacking these days but not at El Compita they get .They have earned my business and loyalty.Catering and big breakfast burritos order for work meetings just let them know in advance like I did you won't be disappointed.“
“I was visiting Denver recently and I stumbled upon this taco spot and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the quesobarria which is new to the menu! I loveeeeed it!!! The flavors were bold and fresh! The staff was nice and friendly and they were fast and efficient! I wished I lived here just to get their food on a regular! I definitely recommend it’s so good!!“
“A dive among dives. Came here for karaoke on Friday (they do karaoke every night, Weds-Sun per their signs). We got there early to grab a table (karaoke started at 9). Drinks are strong and cheap. I think our drinks were like...$6 or $7 each. The tables all have leather-y rolly chairs which are comfortable, but the wheels don't quite fit between/next to the table legs, so you're frequently kind of sticking out from your table and almost hitting people near you. But still comfy chairs. Karaoke started promptly at 9 with the host singing the first tune to get things started. The other host takes your name/song title and was very friendly. They have a list of who's up next on the screen so you can keep an eye out, but they also announce when it's your turn. Music is not painfully loud and the microphone was not screeching like it sometimes does at other places. Had a fun time there with some friends, but I would only go there for karaoke. It wouldn't necessarily be my vibe for just 'hanging' out on another night.“
“Good food. Fairly fast. Liked Gordita and smothered burrito alot. Fair to average price.Vegetarian options: Yes they substituted meat for Beans.Parking: Lots of parking around the side of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair parking. Flat parking lot“
“So good!!! Definitely better than the arbys or the Taco Bell that's next door. We got Al pastor and would definitely recommend those and also the fish tacos! The fish tacos were the surprise of the night! So good! I normally wouldn't want fish tacos from a taco truck but these really impressed me. They put tajin on the fruit which I love. They also have a great horchata. Overall I would def come back here!“
“This is now my favorite taco in Denver. I go here at least once a week for lunch. The barbacoa, al pastor, bistec.....anything you choose will be amazing. It's also super quick and the prices are amazing. I can't think of another place where you can get a fully stuffed street taco for $3.....I usually only need two for lunch.“
“When I visited today, I hadn't eaten anything all day, or yesterday. I was starving, and only had a $10 Peso coin for currency. They happily accepted it in exchange for a single taco, and gave me a free water because of the heat. Then, the kind woman who took my order offered me a free soda, as well as two more tacos! The Kindness and customer service were the best I've received in years, and literally made me tear up a bit. Faith in humanity restored - I'd give them 10/5 stars if only google would let me. Will definitely go out of my way to come back to eat here ❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“Good, solid Mex fast food staples. Would recommend the cheese enchilada plate, Colorado burrito (it's actually a California burrito but ok), Chile Relleno burrito, carnitas tacos, quesadillas and chicken enchilada plate if you REALLY like spicy. Open 24 hours is a plus.“
