“Intrigued by their best burger claim we decided this was the place to eat. We got the elk burger and it did not disappoint! One of the best if not the best burgers I’ve ever had! They even had gluten free buns which were a major plus. Big kudos to who picks those gluten free buns because most just fall apart, this one stayed and it was overloading the burger. The fries were perfectly cooked and crisp. The homemade bbq sauce is a must if you go! You won’t be disappointed!“

The food here was amazing, and it came out very quick and fresh.

The workers (Diana, Casey, Amy, etc.) at the Café were extremely kind and patient, letting us spin our orders around and talking to us with upmost interest in our wellbeing. Talk about the customer being right!

Lastly, the Café was very friendly to any audience, being very festive and suitable to all ages (ergo, a tic-tac-toe set).

In conclusion, the food, workers, and Café were very appeasing to us, and I’d recommend it to anyone!“

“We stopped by when we got into town. We enjoyed the outside patio as our dog was with us. We got the Tuna melt, Gyro, Club, and avocado sandwich. The food was delicious as everything tasted better in Ouray. The owner was nice enough to drop the food off to us and we had a special guest, their dog. She was sweet and made sure we enjoyed the food. We had no issues with the food and the atmosphere outside.

“Used to go to True Grit. Food & service left a lot to be desired, & we got charged extra for side dishes that were supposed to come with the meal. Even with a 25% military discount, it's not worth it anymore. Now, along comes The Lazy Dog Saloon who saved my day of ravenous hunger with their delicious foods. Drove from Cedaredge to Ridgway looking for a good meal. Here it was! Succulent, cooked med. rare sirloin with honey sweet baked beans topped with crispy bacon. & loaded mashed potatoes with crisp bacon bits & cheese. I will certainly be eating there everyday while we are camped there for the July 4th holiday.“

“I love this place. We stopped by in the morning to pick up some spinach and feta croissants, they were so delicious and flaky! We also grabbed another pastry which was dough, soft and puffy with confectionery sugar on top. It was so yummy! We ended up going back the same day in the evening for dessert. I got a chocolate chip cook and my partner got a rainbow sprinkle cookie. Those were great as well. I highly recommend stopping in here. There are all sorts of baked goods, bagels, and pizza. There is something for everyone!“

“As a local, I have loved Kate’s for several years. However, I do NOT like the recent changes. The beloved home fries are gone and replaced with frozen diced potatoes- very disappointing. You can’t upgrade your bread option to a pancake anymore, either.“

“Caravan’s middle eastern food is absolute fabulous! And plentiful! Fresh & amazingly flavorful food. We had the veggie plate with tabouli, baba ghanouj, hummus, spanakopita, falafel & salad. The owner, David & his wife Diana, went above & beyond & we had one of the best experiences ever at a restaurant. I highly recommend Caravan!!“
