“My husband and I were feeling pho one night and a google search led us in. Best decision we ever made. It is now my favorite restaurant hands down. We recently moved from the springs to Pueblo and every time we are in town we stop for dinner. I get the pho chin and wings combo. Best pho and best wings I’ve ever had. My husband has tried most things on the menu but his favorite is the jambalaya. The quality of ingredients makes all the difference. We also recently tried the new Cajun seafood and it was to die for. Amazing food and amazing staff! Always friendly.“
“Vegan options are amazing. Food is delicious. Lemonade was delicious and made fresh. We will definitely try their marinated tofu next visit. It is one of my now top two vegan restaurants in Colorado. Great atmosphere, amazing customer service, and the manager is so friendly and helpful. Great for family time or time alone or with friends.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options also. They will change up the menu for your current diet. Very convenient.Kid-friendliness: From the manager to all of the employees are very helpful and friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Door seem big enough to accommodate entry, and they can move chairs to place you at a table.“
“Food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. We ran a little late for our reservation, we called and the staff were so pleasant and accommodating. I got the chicken sandwich and a mock-tail and took home leftovers. Our waiter who was a tall bond man with glasses did an amazing job. As someone who works in the industry, I was very happy with the quality of service. Will definitely be back again.“
“My husband and I had dinner here the night we got married and it was an absolutely amazing experience! All of the staff were lovely along with the food. They gave us menus that said “Congratulations!” and a fresh rose as well. Best steak I’ve ever had! Will 1000% be going back and recommending to everyone I know :)“
“It is always lovely coming in to Sandy's in the morning to eat breakfast. The food is always delicious. The wait time might be a little longer due to seating. The wait staff are very kind. I recommend Tony's burrito. It's a very large burrito that you can easily share with another person. Be sure to get their green chili. It makes it taste that much better.“
“By far, it is the best vegan restaurant I have ever visited. Dog friendly place if you are willing to eat on the patio. Amanda was very attentive and knew the ins and outs of the diverse menu. The Italian white bean soup was creamy and seasoned perfectly. I ate an ½ order of nachos...Sasquatchos... very delicious. Nice prices... where a full order was $15, and a ½ order was $7.50. First time I have seen true ½ order prices. All beers are in cans. While the Petrus Red was labeled a beer, it was more of a wine cooler in taste and texture. One issue I had concerns the 5% equity fee listed on a yellow card in the menu. While you can opt out by speaking up, it really should be the responsibility of the employer to pay a wage or salary. This addition 'tax' should not be a diners decision and may force many to accept the 'tax' through guilt. This practice also disguises the menu prices as lower than there really are. The $15 nachos is really $15.75.“
“Always come here for late night happy hour. Such a great variety of food options, beautiful drinks, and Veronica, the bar tender, is spectacular. Professional, accurate, hardworking and kind. She’s served us many times. Will definitely be back!“
“I love Bad Daddys! They have great food and a wonderful wait staff! Nikki was an amazing server and was fun to hang out with during our visit! Highly reccomend the green chili cheese tots and the nac and cheese. For drinks I reccomend the Bad Betty.“
“Some of the best tacos I have had in Colorado Springs. The birria tacos are crunchy and have awesome flavor, and the consome elevates the experience. I had an al pastor taco and it was ok, had decent flavor. I had a barbacoa taco and it was very dry bit tasted good. All the tacos are stuffed with meat making them a great value. My wife had the menudo and she said it was ok. I tried the horchata, it was too sweet and made with less milk (maybe none). The salsas are provided for your tacos: green, red, and habenero. The habenero was our favorite since it had spice and good flavor. Great hours and friendly staff. Will definitely come back for those birria tacos!“
“We had the best service I have had in a long time. Our server went Above and beyond. Annalisa was so fantastic, she was kind attentive, great with my children, just wonderful. Because of her service this will be the Urban Egg I return to every time.“
“My husband has always loved the shrimp fries with flamingo sauce, but I got a catfish/shrimp plate and holy smokes - that shrimp is the most amazing thing I think I've ever had. The catfish was delicious too, but the fried shrimp is out of this world. 200/10 would recommend the menu, but especially the fried shrimp. Did I mention the fried shrimp??“
“A wonderful location and family running this little bistro/catering establishment. This little restaurant is pretty disarming for a reviewer. The moment you enter the establishment you realize it is an intimate family affair. The husband appears to run the front of the house and his wife (Susanna) creates in the kitchen. They are very sweet, endearing and the service was top notch from beginning to end. Their pricing is very surprising for what you receive, making this easily one of the the best bangs for your buck in all of downtown. The atmosphere is light and airy, the music was playing at the perfect volume and it was comfortable inside on a cold winter evening. My only minor critique would be it is the lighting is a little too bright with all the white walls and ceilings. Some amount of dimming would add a helping of warmth that would simply close the deal on their dining space.Their cocktail menu is better curated than many places downtown and as discussed above their pricing is amazing (not to mention their happy hour specials). You are getting crafty cocktails for nearly 30% less than you would at dozens of other places downtown. The two traditional old fashions we ordered were excellent, while the Mezcal based old fashioned, orange blossom martini and daiquiri were each a little overdone. Going a little overboard with the Mezcal made the Mexican themed old fashioned overly smoky, the orange blossom martini had a smidge too much vermouth and the daiquiri was overly sweet due to a touch too much syrup.Onto the meal. For me, the highlight was our appetizer. We ordered the Caprese salad with the charcuterie supplemental for 2 people. The Caprese was incredible, the use of blood orange infused olive oil is a stroke of genius. The charcuterie selection was also excellent with a generous Burrata, multiple meats, cheese, olives and fruit. This came out with bread rolls and naan along with some herbed butter, hummus and more olives. With two things changed this could have been one of the best charcuterie boards I’ve ever had. First the Burrata was served cold. While I prefer a warm Burrata, even room temp is acceptable, but when cold it really impacts the depth of its flavor. The second was related to the bread/crackers served with the board. It appeared we were given, what all patron’s receive as complimentary, which is a basket of dinner rolls and few pieces of naan. While these accompany the hummus (which was clearly homemade and amazing) and herbed butter it didn’t really support the charcuterie offerings all that well. A few Crostini, gourmet crackers or simply grilled sliced bread with a little olive oil would have made a huge difference when consuming the meats, cheeses and accoutrements on the board.Next entrees. My wife had the fettuccine Bolognese and it was excellent all around and the dollop of ricotta was a nice touch. I had the evening special, which was Steak Au Poivre with three gulf shrimp. I ordered the steak medium and it came out as a pretty thin cut of tenderloin, which was a bit of a surprise as opposed to the more traditional 1" medallion. I think the consequence of this was it was cooked closer to medium well, but it was still very tender. The sauce was what unfortunately hurt this dish. The brandy or Cognac used in the sauce was not completely cooked off, so I ended up with an alcohol taste off the back end of each bite. The dill coated gulf shrimp, mashed potatoes and asparagus were prepared perfectly. And finally dessert. They have many tempting options, but the waffle with peanut butter ice cream ended up being amazing and a great one to split.I’m nitpicking a little in this review, but it was a continuous theme from our first of what will be many experiences here and they are inches away from excellence in executing all aspects of their menu. With a little fine tuning, there is no reason they shouldn’t be a fixture downtown for years to come. Support small business!“
“Second time here in Colorado, but first time here and I will definitely make this place a must in visiting again! The food was amazing and filling, the service was extraordinary and the diner itself was beautiful and cozy. It reminded me of being out in the woods in a cabin. Our server NY Mike was amazing!!! He was funny and made our service memorable!!!“
“They have a great selection of every article of clothing. I came here to get clothes for work, but they have a lot of things I would wear for every day, too. They tend to be kind of pricey, but that's not the fault of the store. The flex firehose cargo pants with the curvesetter waistband are worth it, though. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Aubrey, who helped me out a lot with my dozens of questions and requests!“
“First night in Colorado Springs we decided to try this place from reviews! I am so glad we did. We walked in and it was a 45 min wait for a table but said we could set at the bar. It was just 2 of us so we said why not. Our bar tender/server Eddie was top not. Gave us recommendations on drinks and food, even though I had my mind made up. We went with the spinach artichoke dip ( it was very tasty) for dinner we went with the Beef Mushroom pie and OMG it was out of this world. The pastry was buttery and flaky, beef has such good flavor but the gravy was the show stopper. It was sooo good. Mash potatoes was great and veggies cooked well. After being stuffed suggested us to try the bread pudding. We said sure why not. Ok..... I was ready to be carried out! It was delicious, especially with the strawberry and whoop cream. If your considering trying this place, stop and go!“
“First time here, would come back in a heartbeat. Nice lil spot with awesome employees. "outta towners" on a busy nfl Sunday, limited seating, didn't hesitate to make room for us and serve us promptly. The House honey sriracha lime sauce is a must try! Bring your friends!“
“We are on a house hunting trip from Phoenix and stopped here to have a drink and lunch. The food here is phenomenal. Had gumbo and it was superb. Perfectly spiced and balanced with ample, sausage, peppers and the right amount of rice. Had sirracha and chipotle wings. The wings were smoked and then fried crispy. They were served with carrot sticks, and the dipping sauces, blue cheese and ranch, were homemade and absolutely delicious. Kerrin was our server and she too was great, attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant.“
“We dined last night and everything was spectacular. From the minute we walked in the door to the moment we walked out was great. Service was very good and so professional. I got the scallops and my husband got the Steak Diane, both were great. It was hard to choose what to eat because everything was so good! We will definitely be back!“
“Josh is an amazing waiter who served us fantastic food! Everything on their menu sounded good, which is unusual for me. I got the 1/2 sandwich and salad, which was so good. I have no pictures because I ate most of it before I thought of this. But my husband ordered the Farmer's skillet hash and a tropical sunrise. Looked just like the pictures! Oh, and I ordered the mint mocha iced coffee....So good!“
“nicolette was an excellent server. she checked on me several times and was very kind. the pancake was yummy but i’m a gravy snob so they gravy on my scramble thing wasn’t my cup of tea. that’s not to say the food wasn’t worthy of five stars! plus they had diet pepsi! woo hoo!“
“Went here for the first time. Was recommended by a friend! Food and service was amazing! Atmosphere was typical sports bar, which my husband and I really like. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the angry bird salad. Both were very enjoyable! Will definitely be back!“
“Love, love, love this place! Exactly what a cozy, neighborhood coffee shop should be. Delicious eats, a wide variety of coffees and teas, and warm, friendly service. It's a great place to pick up something tasty and quick to go. Even better, bunker down and enjoy a leisurely morning in a very welcoming environment. Your first visit won't be your last!“
“If I could give more stars I would. The atmosphere if fantastic. The bourbon is better. The service is like no other place I’ve ever experienced. The manager Kolby(not sure on spelling) was unbelievable. I’m from AZ but wish I was from here so I could come all the time!!!“
“I went there for the first time today. I drive by there a lot. l always thought it was a little deli that just made sandwiches, boy was I wrong. They have a great variety of different things. The food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be making this our "go to" place in the future.“
“The atmosphere was “busy” with lines of people waiting to be seated. We got on the waitlist ahead of time and only waited about 20 minutes. Our food was delicious as always however our waitress was struggling. We waited on our drinks about 20 min and waited on a second Bloody Mary almost 30 min. They comped it but still took forever. Breakfast for three with tip…$100“
“Everything was amazing! Our waiter, Simon, was the perfect level of attentive and provided excellent recommendations. We dined outside and the atmosphere was so serene. The food was impeccable. Every dish was well balanced and perfectly executed. Highly recommend!“
“MacKenzie’s is a wonderful experience every single time. The food is always exceptional, but it’s the service that is truly above and beyond. Our server for our most recent visit, Stefan, was incredible and every recommendation he gave us was absolute perfection. There’s no doubt we’ll be back again and again!“
“What a great night. Our anniversary and they went all out to make it a "moment of magic" Kaylee was so kind and generous and Riley and wait staff were super helpful. Food was superb but service even better. Thanks for making our night special. Jeff and Connie. 53 years“
“Fantastic meal with great food and perfect service. Bartender made an amazing drink for me since I couldn't decide what I wanted. Just told her something with Bourbon and it was perfect. Music was just a little louder than I would like for a nice quiet meal.“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our server Mayanna was fantastic! Beers were unique and delicious, atmosphere was inviting and food was delicious... Highly recommend the "We Believe in Nothing" Hefe and the Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese with Truffle Fries... And the Bacon Bites Small Plate.“
“I went there for my first time with friends for a retirement lunch. There was a very sweet vibe there as it's in a converted Victorian house. The service was adequate but not warm. They did everything they were suppose to but it was not that friendly. I guess I thought in a home environment it would be a little warm and fuzzy. I want to emphasize though the service was not bad. I had the club sandwich which was very good. It is not your traditional club though. It was a good sandwich cut in half with fresh ingredients. Two people in our party ordered a salad with salmon on it and they liked it very much. The fourth had the chicken quiche which she raved about. I had a cup of the onion soup, and the broth was excellent. I wish there was a bit more cheese but still quite good. We got dessert. We got one carrot cake and one creme Brule to share. They were ok. The carrot cake was substantial and very rich. The Brule was super tiny but pretty tasty. Two of us had sodas to drink. For four of us it was 87.00 for lunch. It was a nice outing. I feel like it was a bit pricy overall for the amounts of food given. Still it was a good place to eat overall.“
“I kept reading online that the food at Waffle House wasn't good. Being from New York, since we don't have it I always wanted to try. Finally had the opportunity. Came around 11pm and sat ourselves, the waitress had politely taken our order and I was surprised how quickly we got our food. I got the all star special (waffle, eggs, toast, bacon, hash browns) I tried the strawberry waffle they had, it was all great. The cherry on top of the service was, the waitress told me she was going to bring out some new eggs for me without me even saying anything. Absolutely great service and the food was really good too. Breakfast 24hrs in a diner setting is a vibe I'd like to have access to whenever. Thanks for the fantastic first experience!“
“I love all the community engagements this location does! Thank you Renee for keeping the fun for all going! Plus of course the food is so amazing, even when I am there for 5 hours during an event I get hungry over and over because the SMELLS are so incredible! Also thank you for sponsoring the Indoor Family Halloween Festival 2023 with Connecting Communities at The SoccerHaus2:30pm-7:30pm and Connecting Communities looks forward to many many more opportunities with you all!“
“We tried snooze and I have to tell you I was not dissapointed!! The service was fast and on time, and the food was amazing! We were on our way to Denver and decided to drop by and we were glad we did! I had the scrambled egg breakfast and my wife had the over easy breakfast which was **** chefs kiss!!“
“My husband and I ate here tonight and it was delicious. The service was on point and clean! The ladies working the bar were great for knowing when their tables needed a refill or anything extra. The wine was delicious and the views are gorgeous if you’re looking for a date night or amazing drinks with your girlfriends. This is the place to be.“
“Had the privilege to have brunch w/girlfriends again this past Sunday!Broccoli Cheese soup was delicious and hearty!I enjoy the renovated atmosphere...a classy comfortable and homey feel to the new renovations!Friendly, SMILING, and engaging staff made our time together enjoyable and relaxing...no hurrying, but food arrived to our table in a timely manner!I always take time to peruse the menu in choosing a meal that's healthy and that I could enjoy. I'm never disappointed that there were many items that I could choose from. Will be back...soon, I hope!!!“
“Ali was my server and she was amazing! Very friendly, excellent customer service, was very busy but took care of all of the patrons in her area in a timely manner. Eddy at the cash register was also very friendly and helpful. Both are wonderful employees who made my visit a truly enjoyable experience.“
“Great service and wonderful management. I order from here on the weekends and reccomend them to everyone I know. Fountain is lucky to have a great place to eat. I personally recommend you try the breakfast quesadilla with the hot chili; it'll have you hooked. The hot chilinis hot and gets hotter the next day if you have leftovers. The biscuits & gravy is also good with home made biscuits. All of the plates have a very generous portion, I always have leftovers for later.“
“Great experience! Sit at the bar if you want the best time, fun friendly bartenders making some amazing cocktails are very entertaining. The coffee bean martinis, oh my, waaay toooo good. It's just a happy low key scene that's guaranteed to make your day. First place we'll go next time we're in the Springs.“
“Carefree Bar and Grill is a great place! Locally owned, wonderful and attentive staff, great food and drinks, inviting atmosphere. It has the comfortable, welcoming neighborhood bar feel. Great place to go alone or with a group! Pool, darts, live music, events...“
“Best cocktails I've ever had. Yummy! Some food items were delicious, others were ok. Our server was lovely and recommended amazing drinks. We had to move the table a bit so the chairs were against the wall due to other guests not being considerate of others' needs to be able to sit at a table. So perhaps the tables are too plentiful for the space.“
“we went on Easter Sunday, it was very quiet, so the service was impeccable. we are British tra lingerie fir 3 weeks. we have stopped ans eaten in alot of different places and the grilled cheese sandwich here is the absolute bomb. gorgeous food and excellent service. highly recommended.“
“We went for dinner and this place is really great, Ethan was our waiter and he was so sweet and knowledgeable about the menu, I have celiacs and I get severally sick if I come in contact with anything gluten related and he honestly took the time and care to make sure I didn’t have anything that would make me sick. And not to mention the food here is delicious ?. Thank you Ethan for taking the time to understand and in helping me with this terrible disease and to not get sick, your amazing..Dietary restrictions: I have celiacs disease and this menu has gluten free options“
“For a chain restaurant, Bubba's always nails it. They're consistent and their burgers are so good! I've been several times and the wait staff is always delightful. Definitely the place to go when you're craving a great burger.“
“"I always enjoy my visits to Waffle House, and my latest trip was no exception. The highlight was definitely the waffle I ordered; I requested it crispy, and it was delivered perfectly to my liking. The food here never disappoints, especially the golden brown, crispy crust of my waffle that night. The person behind the grits did an outstanding job too, ensuring there wasn’t a single lump in sight. However, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the customer service. When I ordered my meal to go, my drinks were initially forgotten, and I had to remind the staff just as I was about to leave. Similarly, I wasn’t provided with any syrup for my waffles. Fortunately, I prefer using my own maple syrup at home, which pairs beautifully with their waffles, so it wasn't a big issue for me. Despite these oversights, the staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which I greatly appreciated. It seemed like it was just an off night for him, and we all have those from time to time, right? Lol.Overall, I’d still highly recommend Waffle House. Their hash brown bowls are a must-try; I usually go for them with eggs over easy, cheese, and bacon. If you’re ever unsure of what to order, you can’t go wrong with one of these options—or maybe even all three! Lol."“
“Cathy the bartender and all the patrons were so damn friendly to the 3 of us when we stopped by on the way to Canon City. We stopped again on the way back and this time Cathy had made biscuits and gravy that were SO GOOD. Thanks y’all, we be back!“
“This is my second time coming here. Each time I was so impressed with the kindness from the servers (Talia, from our first visit, and Allie, today’s server, are just amazing). Today, I watched one of the servers with an older person and just have a lovely conversation with them. The food is also delicious. I recommend the breakfast burrito! The Strawberry Cheesecake French toast is also elite!I love seeing how much the team here cares. Definitely a place I will be frequenting and recommending!“
“Great food! Had the breakfast burrito, torn potatoes, and carrot cake pancakes.Pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Not overly sweet, great texture and flavor. The day we went the coffee wasn’t brewed very strong ? other than that everything was great“
“I have always been a fan of the Bar and Grill at PJ but today we saw Shane there and he was warm and inviting and made sure we had exceptional service! Our food was ohhhh so yummy and our experience was DELIGHTFUL ? Excited to get back and try some of their whiskeys and get in on the all you can eat crab before April (its seasonal)!! All our food was great but we voted and the open face prime rib (my sons) was drool worthy and #1!! The energy, staff and food is better than most golf clubs and you can't beat the price and view❤️. Thanks again for a wonderful evening!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s“
“I'm personally not a fan of the base clubs. The back bar area is nice for small group events. The larger halls are pretty busy with various events. Overall it is a nice place to gather for personal or professional events. Nice facilities, full kitchen, full bar and staff.“
