“I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Morning Glory Cafe. A week ago, I made a reservation for a group of 11 people, and when we arrived, the table was perfectly set and ready for us. However, after we placed our orders, we waited over an hour and a half without receiving any food. This was brought to the attention of the staff, and understandably, frustration began to build on our end. Fortunately, the manager, Adolfo, addressed the situation beautifully. He sincerely apologized for the delay and explained that there had been a miscommunication regarding our order, which led to a significant mistake. To make amends, they comped our meals, which was greatly appreciated. Our waitress, Helen, was also very sincere in her apology. In a time when many establishments struggle to admit their errors, Morning Glory Cafe stood out by acknowledging their mistake and taking responsibility. We truly love this restaurant and deeply appreciate its integrity. I will always recommend Morning Glory Cafe to others! Thank you, Adolfo and Helen, for resolving this situation so effectively. “We had a great breakfast here. Staff was utterly amazing and so helpful. We had a a 6 top and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Don't let the place deter you.. its got a true greasy spoon diner look and feel, but like most of those the food is the reason you go. I got the Toro Pot and it was fantastic, and it was frigging huge. Most everything was great there were a few misses, sausage links seemed to be frialator cooked which made them a little tough. Waffle had a few singer marks on it, but none of that made the whole meal bad. We would definitely come back here again.“

“5 stars is not enough for The Post. We came for the Thursday special of pot pie with three people who LOVE chicken pot pie. Our waiter Dominic was so helpful and friendly. He checked to make sure they still had pot pie and had them open every warmer to find us the last three in the building. It was worth the trouble. These pot pies were extraordinary. The crust is flaky and the middle just felt like comfort. The chicken has fantastic flavor.
We also enjoyed the chicken thighs as well as our 4th friend had a chicken sandwich. Everything was prepared hot and fresh. Do yourself a huge favor and go on a Thursday for this pot pie!!“

“Went there last Saturday night, had a couple of Old Fashioned's and the Bison bolognese for dinner. The food and the drinks were outstanding. Our server was engaging and helpful. Overall the experience was terrific.“

“I took my mom here for mothers day. We had a variety of things. Charcuterie, the roasted beet goat cheese salad (not pictured), carppachio, the filet with truffle butter, the chicken, and the braised beef. The carppachio, and the filet were the stand outs. The charcuterie was a very nice starter. However the braised beef was kinda chewy, and goat cheese salad was just okay. The potatoes were overcooked and did nothing for that salad but make it weird. Still I tried it because I love beets. (Since we ate here it looks like they took the potatoes out of this salad. So I would try it again.) All and all it was a good experience. Momma enjoyed her meal and that was the most important part. We liked it and would definitely give it another go. I would however recommend a reservation though, it is a small space and was full when we came.“

I’ve been very cautious about eating out lately, and OMG… huge win that they offer burger bowls! I always order my bun on the side, but I didn’t even have to because they have an amazing burger bowl option for any of their burgers. Another thing I loved: when you order fries, you can choose a single or double portion instead of being forced into getting two sides. “Called here and was told it could be about an hour of a wait . After going on a walk we later returned and as it was really cold staff let us stand under the heaters which was very good of them . Shortly after we were seated and what followed had to one of the best Dinners we ever had . Real Italian Food served in generous portions by top class staff . “The pizza is really solid here. I always get a build your own with bacon and red onions, but my sons like The Big Cheese and my husband likes Tommy Want Chicken Wingy. It also has a really fun, laid back vibe. One of my favorite restaurants in Erie. We eat here probably once every two weeks, and it’s really easy to get dessert after because it’s connected to the ice cream parlor next door. Highly recommend it!“

“The hotel is clean, has great amenities, great breakfast, an outstanding pool, beautiful outdoor courtyard, and is conveniently located and surrounded by great restaurants, and the staff were all exceptional! Tammie at the front desk was always so helpful and nice and the gentleman, who had actually just started working at the café, was so nice and had outstanding customer service. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms, especially the one with the balcony, were so warm and inviting! We highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.“
