It became a routine for me to stop by, have some decent dish, and leave with some takeout! As someone who is very picky on taste, I would greatly recommend you give a try.“

The chef was very accommodating for the kids and asked us what would be best for them regarding the flare ups on the grill etc. The food being ready in stages was great for the young children. “After eating at Woody’s, I really feel like I’ve been around the world. The menu is a three ring binder with so many options, but don’t be intimidated by all of the choices of the lack of prices. The food is a bargain. The flavors, textures, and colors of the food at this restaurant are incommensurable. Starting with the appetizers, the egg rolls had unique an unexpected flavors all tucked into a delicately fried crust. The fresh spring rolls are well-rolled and attractive. Go for the Hot and Sour soup if you want a little bit of tangy challenge, the same with the Cambodian soups, especially the tripe. The chicken and vegetables with spicy lemon grass was fresh and colorful, with a great coconut based sauce. The staff provides super friendly service and the dining room is very comfortable. Some of my favorites: Xiao Long Soup Bun - some of the best I've had. The broth inside is so flavorful and the dough is like a little pillow of goodness. Could literally eat these every day. Pan Fried Thumblings - a best seller for a reason. Fried to perfection and not heavy, but rather light, crunchy, & juicy. Little bite-sized balls bursting with flavor. Best bang for your buck. Stir Fried Green Beans - YUMMM, but a little pricey so I don't order all the time. They are so good you don't even realize you're eating veggies. Red Sea Chili Wontons - the red chili sauce is the perfect coating for these super delicate wontons stuffed to capacity with well-seasoned pork & shrimp. Also a good bang for your buck. Seaweed salad - a nice, crunchy app to offer a brightness to the meal. For $7 you get a good sized portion and the texture is perfect. The sauces on the side are also really tasty. We love Nana's :)“

“Came here from Texas looking for a good Chinese restaurant and ended up finding the BEST MANGOLIAN TRIPLE DELIGHT dish ever. I always ask for this specific dish everywhere I go, which is typically never in the menu. I asked the owner if it could be made, and with no hesitation, he said, of course. We ended up coming back the next day because of how GOOD this dish was, and my husband ended up getting the same. My daughter got the shrimp and vegetables with brown sauce. It was amazing. Typically, the shrimp at other Chinese restaurants have a rubbery texture, BUT you will NOT find that issue. The shrimps were very well cooked, great quality, and the vegetables were all fresh, nothing frozen. We also tried the wonton soup, which was really different as they added fresh vegetables and more flavor, soo goooood. If you are in Boulder and seeking great Chinese, you must come here. The owner cares about its customers as we saw many regulars come in and noticed their interactions. “Always found it difficult to find good Chinese food in Denver and surrounding areas, I dunno why. Moved to the area recently and this place really gets it right. The food is insanely good. Wish their rice portions were a bit bigger, but whatever, for the price it's fine. Almost always get delivery/takeout, decided to dine in with a buddy recently and the service was great (and they were busy)! Only things I'd say that could be better would be if they were open later (I so often want delivery at 11pm, but that's on me) and if you got more rice with dishes that it comes with. But even with that, 5 stars.“
