“I was born and raised in KCMO, where BBQ is taken seriously. We have made it our mission to find the best BBQ in the Thornton/Denver area. We've gone to a lot of places, but lo and behold, the best BBQ came to us when we discovered this little gem of a food truck parked up the street from us. Everything we have had here has been top notch. The meats are infused with a wonderful smokey flavor, and seasoned/sauced perfectly. The beans are some of the best I have had. Mario is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could ever want to meet. If you're looking for some exceptional BBQ I highly recommend this truck.”

The wait was about 40 minutes on a Tuesday night at 7:30 for 2 people, but you can join their wait list before you get there (live and learn).

They offered many soup and meat options to start and then the buffet style serve-yourself area had dozens of things to try and lots of seafood for no extra charge! “I have severe celiac and wheat allergy, and I ordered Zappa toscana soup and salad with iced tea and it was great. The manager came over to my table and specially told me they’re taking extreme precautions and using a designated cleaned area, changing gloves and keeping things safe and separate. I haven’t had Olive Garden in years and so this was a really nice experience. No reaction at all a day later so I’m in the clear. Deff recommend. Server Regina was really kind as well”

“My husband and I split Nachos with steak and chicken and shrimp fajitas. The nachos and toppings were fresh and tasty, large portion. The fajitas came in a sizzling bowl, very tasty, vegetables were cooked perfectly and the proteins were as well. They were flavored well with a little spice. So glad we didn’t to stop there while visiting family.”

“We originally planned to eat at Bluebird Cafe because it had reviews that were just as good as Pete’s, and it was honestly a tough choice. After we sat down at BlueBird, we realized they only had whole wheat pancakes, so we decided to head over to Pete’s Cafe instead. We are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, Pete made us feel welcome. He greeted us, told us to sit anywhere we’d like, and even asked the kids if they wanted to sit outside. They have an amazing outdoor seating area, which was a great option for our family. We needed two tables pushed together, and Pete helped us with that immediately. The waitresses were so kind and attentive, and the service throughout our visit was perfect. The food was so amazing the bacon literally tastes home cooked and our 7 year old son said they have the best, fluffiest pancakes around! Our whole family was happy with their meals and enjoyed the experience. While we were dining, all the customers around us were smiling and happy with their food you could tell it’s just an all around good place. On our way out, Pete gave the kids lollipops, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really showed how much he cares about his customers. Great food, amazing service, and genuine hospitality. As a member of the West Ridge Elementary PTA, I’m always looking for ways to celebrate our hardworking teachers and staff. With National Pizza Day approaching, I hoped to partner with a local pizzeria to treat them—but with a limited budget, I wasn’t sure what was possible. “Amazing food!! Wanted something new for a day out with my dad and he's a big cheesestake guy. I love gyros and it was the perfect mix for the both of us. The food was delicious and served quickly and the server was the sweetest. The place itself is cute and a bit small, only complaint was the floors and tables were a little sticky but I didn't mind. It seems mostly like a place for takeout which I will absolutely be getting again next time I'm around!”

The service is top notch, customer service seems to be important to staff and it shows. I get the original Chai latte. It's better than bigger coffee chains. I also get the bacon breakfast burrito with green chili. It hits the spot every time, so, so good. In an increasingly unfriendly, detached world, this Ziggi's is like an oasis. Love them!! ❤”

“Omg I feel like I have hit the jackpot finding this bakery! I’m not even gluten free just dairy and soy and everything is sooooo amazing and even my husband who eats all things loves it! We just started purchasing this week and have already bought 4 times! Lemon blueberry loaf, oatmeal cream pies and double chocolate zucchini loafs are all to die for! I can’t see what else she has up her sleeve and to try more amazing things!”

“In town for business, never been here before so I thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t sure what to get and had alot of questions. The lady that works there, Tami, was so nice, warm, and welcoming! Tami took the time to go over different options and what they each come with. She knew what she was talking about! “Haven't had Qdoba in a long time, so I thought I'd try it again. It was very greasy today. Maybe they changed their cheese or maybe it was the chicken something. Pico, queso, and guacamole were as good as I remembered. The quesadilla was huge for sure and it was delicious minus the grease lol. But the service was excellent”
