“I was born and raised in KCMO, where BBQ is taken seriously. We have made it our mission to find the best BBQ in the Thornton/Denver area. We've gone to a lot of places, but lo and behold, the best BBQ came to us when we discovered this little gem of a food truck parked up the street from us. Everything we have had here has been top notch. The meats are infused with a wonderful smokey flavor, and seasoned/sauced perfectly. The beans are some of the best I have had. Mario is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could ever want to meet. If you're looking for some exceptional BBQ I highly recommend this truck.”

“Amazing food!! Wanted something new for a day out with my dad and he's a big cheesestake guy. I love gyros and it was the perfect mix for the both of us. The food was delicious and served quickly and the server was the sweetest. The place itself is cute and a bit small, only complaint was the floors and tables were a little sticky but I didn't mind. It seems mostly like a place for takeout which I will absolutely be getting again next time I'm around!”

“Another local spot that was recommended to us by some friends the pho was pretty good, the Bubble Tea was good but not my favorite, everyone was friendly enough although a little distant not very personable, we sampled some friends dinner as well. I ended up liking their dishes better than the pho we had ordered their chicken was delicious and also the egg rolls were very good. Overall a good experience I would try something other than the soup next time I come here but we will definitely be back.”

The service is top notch, customer service seems to be important to staff and it shows. I get the original Chai latte. It's better than bigger coffee chains. I also get the bacon breakfast burrito with green chili. It hits the spot every time, so, so good. In an increasingly unfriendly, detached world, this Ziggi's is like an oasis. Love them!! ❤”

My husband kids and I love our Mexican food and it's not easy to make us feel at home or excited about food... but when I tell you that there's days I'm at work and my kids text me and ask if we can come here for dinner!!!!! Boy! We love this place that much! The flavor is bomb the drinks are fresh and refreshing you literally taste it! It's not that powdered crap! They put their love into everything. The owner is so polite and caring he has great customer service. We go for the tacos and agua de pepino y limon but we recently tried the nachos and hamburger. Both were good but that hamburger will make you wanna slap your mama! I love this place. Seriously. Hands-down the only Mexican food in Thornton, worth your time and money. This is from the heart. Oh also, get the salsa! they have red and green, but the red is my favorite so I pour a little extra of that with a splash of green. You'll never be disappointed.”

“I have been going to Jersey Mike’s for the last three years since I moved to Thornton. There’s a gentleman that owns the place named Henry. What a humanitarian. Great manager runs the restaurant like he’s been in at 50 years and he also cares about his customers. When they are sick and haven’t been in for a while, he tries to get a hold of them and see how they are doing. He’s wonderful and so is the food there. I tried the chicken salad tonight and it was wonderful.. I don’t go to any other jersey Mike’s. This is the cleanest and the best though Henry is a great part of the community.”

“It was our first time eating at Fat Shacks. As soon as we got there, they were very kind and helpful. We had a hard time choosing what to order because everything sounded so good!🤤 My husband and I both ordered the double stack hamburger with the works. One of us ordered fried and the other ordered onion rings. We also ordered some wings, and funnel cake bites.....(don't judge😂). I'm telling you, everything looks so good!
We live in South Denver. We happen to be up that way for an event. We got home and everything was packaged so organized and clean. They are the first restaurant that I have ever seen be so organized and packed up so neatly.💖 Even the ketchup and sauces were stacked very neatly.😊 The small paper bags were folded over perfectly! I'm a perfectionist, and I'm telling you they were very organized! Lol I wish I had taken pictures.😞
Anyway, we ate this last night (8-28-26). I woke up this morning still thinking about Fat Shacks and how awesome they are. Lol
Back to the food...
As I said we had to drive all the way back to South Denver. Most times the food would be a soggy mess, but NOT THEIRS! Lol I can not express how good everything tasted! The burger was 👌 muahh..to PERFECTION! The wings of course were perfect! The onion rings and fries were yummy and I'm picky on French fries. We ended our meal with the funnel cake bites dipped in chocolate. The only tiny little mistake was, we ordered both chocolate and strawberry sauces for funnel cake bites and they forgot the strawberry sauce. Lol but I can't even be mad at that after the experience we had there. 🥰
So yea...I can't express enough how GREAT everything was! The food, the customer service, etc.
They are DEFINITELY worth the drive to go back again!!💖
Oh! One last thing, we usually eat decently healthy, we don't get take-out food very often anymore, because usually take-out will leave you feeling heavy and bloated the next day, and we don't feel that today. I am glad we live far because we'd probably become their #1 customers!😆

“Ordered the 3 item combination (chili relleno, steak burrito, and cheese enchilada) and the Chilaquiles with 2 scrambled eggs. The chilaquiles were good (red sauce had good flavor) and the red sauce on the enchilada was also great. The enchilada was good, could have used a little more cheese, but was tasty. The chili relleno was the best item on the combination platter and the steak burrito wasn't that good (recommend getting a different item). Plates had great presentation. Service was ok - the man was nice but was busy doing other things so we didn't see him much - no refill on waters or checking on us after bringing food and waited a while for the check.”

“Haven't had Qdoba in a long time, so I thought I'd try it again. It was very greasy today. Maybe they changed their cheese or maybe it was the chicken something. Pico, queso, and guacamole were as good as I remembered. The quesadilla was huge for sure and it was delicious minus the grease lol. But the service was excellent”
