“I've been here several times as my best friend is OBSESSED with their tacos. Meanwhile I've tried pretty much the whole menu at this point and decided the Chile Relleno was my number one favorite! However, everything has been quite tasty and well-made, so you really can't go wrong. I appreciate that they give you very large portions.“

Invited to lunch by co-workers and was told better than other Mexican restaurants within the area.
Simple, no fuss decor.
Noontime and there were about 5 groups of diners (inc. us). This was right around Christmas.
Service was quick and okay.
Was very accommodating about my request of more rice instead of beans.
We all agree 👍 on their food.
Good food for the price but, distance/location is not a positive for me.
Parking: Parking shared with multiple businesses.“

“My husband and I split Nachos with steak and chicken and shrimp fajitas. The nachos and toppings were fresh and tasty, large portion. The fajitas came in a sizzling bowl, very tasty, vegetables were cooked perfectly and the proteins were as well. They were flavored well with a little spice. So glad we didn’t to stop there while visiting family.“

“Great food. Have been here several times and the food has been great, particularly the ceviche appetizer and the tacos al pastor (marinated pork) entree. Waitstaff have always been super attentive. The margaritas are reasonably priced. If you sit up front by the bar the atmosphere is fun. Farther back, the booths area is plain and feels like a large luncheonette type area. My wife has celiac and must eat gluten free which has not been a problem as long as she pays attention to the components of the meal. Highly recommend.“

“Absolutely a great local spot! Had the QuesiBirra tacos and was very impressed. So impressed, that I got them twice. We also had the Cali Burrito and chilli cheese fries, which were also very good. If you're nearby, absolutely come and check out this family owned spot! Oh and they recently remodeled and it looks great!“

“This place has has delicious food and drink! Their Agua frescas is our go to door dash order on a hot day! Everything we have tried for food has been excellent! Service has always been beyond great. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because the tables and decor could use upgrades. Other than that the place is 10/10.“

“Place is sooo good! You can’t go wrong with ordering a Colorada Torta, if you don’t know what a torta is and your new to Mexican food go try one out.
I’d like to mention that it is not cheap. It has gotten super pricey so I’m not able to go here as much as I use too back when the tortas were $9-$10 now there just getting super expensive but worth it every once in a while.“

“This was my original first experience with the taco star, which has led to hundreds more. I love this place their food rocks the people who work there are friendly and kick ass. This place has the best Mexican fast food which I hate calling it but it is the bomb. The other location on 104th is also equally as awesome well all the rest seem to not even be the same restaurant despite the signs. They need to take a lesson from these restaurants on how to make consistently good food.“

“Haven't had Qdoba in a long time, so I thought I'd try it again. It was very greasy today. Maybe they changed their cheese or maybe it was the chicken something. Pico, queso, and guacamole were as good as I remembered. The quesadilla was huge for sure and it was delicious minus the grease lol. But the service was excellent“

“Wow, lived here in Thornton for 3 years and tonight decided to try this spot!! 100% authentic from the greeting to the service to the food!!! Hidden gem!!! Gonna try again for sure!! Had the smothered burrito with ground beef and it was flavored beef!! My Lady tried the carne asada plate and it was delicious!!!“

“I just left here. I got a classic taco tostada and I just wanna say it was immaculate. It was so good. It was my first time trying it from here and they were super friendly and welcoming through the drive-through as well even though we didn’t dine in even double check to make sure I had utensils. Thank you for the great service and great food!“

“Yes, it's just a drive-thru taco place, but the lobby is well maintained and still looks brand new after all these years. I don't know what it is in their hiring practices or training, but the staff has always been pleasant and personable with the kind of customer service you'd expect from a full service sit-down restaurant.“
