“We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.“

“Had an early dinner here with my wife while on our way to Vail. We each had chirashi and shared seaweed and cucumber salads. Everything was delicious - the fish, in particular, was of the highest quality. All in all it was a really good experience- we will certainly return next time we visit Vail.“

“Highly recommend reservations, this restaurant is busy. Our table was ready when we arrived. Excellent service- staff was very friendly. Food was delicious - stared with the pimento cheese appetizer. Our group ordered a mix of hanger steak and chicken and everyone loved their meals. The ice cream snickers is a must try, it was easy to split. If you are feeling generous you can buy the kitchen a round of drinks - it's called Kitchen Sauce on the menu. We were seated next to the kitchen and they deserved it - everyone was working hard, our food arrived quickly and perfectly plated. We will be back again soon.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.“

When I worked in Vail this is the spot everyone would go after work for food and drinks and if the locals love it you know it's good. If you're visiting Vail in the summer, winter, or ever the October mud season when everyone's gone, you HAVE to try Garfs at least once. You won't regret it.“

“I asked the valet at our hotel who should we order pizza from, Local Joe's was his quick reply. The pies arrived hot and fresh, high quality ingredients, and the delivery guy was very nice. We also tried 5 of their sandwiches for lunch the next day, equally excellent. When in vail this is the place from which to get pizza or sub sandwiches. If you go for pickup or want a drink at their bar, don't let the older/small location fool you, it's got great people and wonderful food.“

The food here was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Prices were also very reasonable compared to everything else we tried in town. “I had one 5-star experience and one 2-star experience.

The 2-star experience was mostly awful service... We only got our first drinks around 2 mins before we were given the cheque. Food was delivered wrong. Only saw the server once until we complained after food was delivered.

5-star experience was amazing the server was the best I've had in years. Charismatic, helpful, attentive. Pizza with honey wasn't a good decision. But was great food for everyone else.“

“This is the best place to eat on the mountain. They are smoking the meat right there!

Great spot to stop in, warm up, and get some great BBQ. Get there before the lunch rush to make sure you get a seat. Tables by the windows have a beautiful view of the mountain. When the weather is warmer you can sit outside. They have picnic tables and lawn chairs.

Recommend the ribs, brisket, and Mac n cheese.“

“Wow, one of the best restaurants on Vail mountain! For starters, this restaurant blew my mind away, especially it being 2 miles high! The pulled pork was so tender, the ribs were some of the best that I have ever had, the sauce is the bomb, and the prices were reasonable for Vail! Pro tip, use your epic pass if you have it, it will save you a drastic amount of money!

Vegetarian options: This is a bbq, so there is not many veggie dishes

Parking: In terms of ski parking, there are many racks outside to “park” your skis. However, you can’t drive up to here!
