“Nice spot in Woodland Park! They have good coffee and spend a little extra to not use the run of the mill beans on both the espresso and the drip. They use an air pot for the drip that you can get your own refills. Staff is friendly and plenty of parking. They have house made desserts. The sandwiches are around $15 but they are a good value. They have plenty of meat, condiments and seasonings. The spicy italian is delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: Plenty of parking“
“I don't go to Starbucks often due to the price. I normally make my coffee at home, but I was in the area and needed something. When I pulled up to this location I decided to try something different (for once no one was behind me). My barista Bella was so patient with me. She even helped me order something. I don't know what coffee I got but it was good and in my stomach fast.“
“I am not vegan nor even try to be one but I am always willing to support those that are and this place never disappoints. I am always excited when we decide to eat here. Everything I have tried is amazing. The service is amazing!!! Thank you!“
“Absolutely fantastic Mexican cuisine! From the rich flavors of their traditional dishes to the vibrant atmosphere, this restaurant truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. The authenticity of their recipes shines through in every bite, leaving you craving more. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving delicious Mexican food!“
“We went here for the first time and had lunch. I had the carne asada and chicken street tacos, a side of rice and a side of refried beans. I really enjoyed the street tacos. The rice was pretty good, a little sticky, but it had good flavor. The beans were just Okay. My wife had a bean and cheese burrito which she enjoyed. Our server was very attentive. I may have missed it, but I didn't see combination plates that include beans and rice. If it's not offered, maybe something to consider. 2 tacos, a side of beans and a side of rice I thought was a little pricey, but it is a small, local business. Maybe offer one bowl of chips and salsa as part of a dine-in meal?? Overall, we liked it and we will be back...“
“I'm sad I haven't been here every week to see the HUGE evolve Paradox has gone through. This is one of my favorite places, don't be afraid to stop here for a great bite and an even better refreshment.Great job guys and gals ❤️“
“Iconic. Amazing. Beautiful. These are from the reviews of others, and I'd echo these terms and many more, with regard to this incredible wonder. I've long wanted to drive to the top and we did so on a recent visit. It was early November on an uncharacteristically warm day with beautiful clear skies as we began our ascent, and the weather stayed perfect the whole time, getting colder as we ascended of course. The drive itself starts out very mildly in terms of grade, and frankly, excitement, but it definitely saves the best stuff for later. Once you get into the seriously twisty and steep bits, the trees start to part and reveal the spectacular views as you get higher and higher. Our rented Toyota 4 Runner was more than capable, and got us up and down with aplomb. We were initially excited as we reached the summit, until we got out of the car and headed to the visitor center. It was at that point that my wife and I both realized we had a bit of altitude sickness, in the form of dizziness, light headedness and she even had a smidge of nausea. We were surprised and how, well, almost terrible we felt. We grabbed a couple of quick pics and began our descent, and we began to feel better soon thereafter. So, be prepared for the possibility. As we came back down, we stayed in first gear on the 4 Runner much of the way, and at the mandatory brake check, the checker commented that our brakes were under 100 degrees and that we were doing a great job. The view was even better on the way down. If you're ever in this area, this is a must-do and must-see. It is everything that everyone says, totally awesome.“
“The door we entered was at the bar area that’s separated from the dining room. Didn’t really mean to, but glad we did. It was a homey feel. Cool little Knick knacks from ages ago displayed up on a shelf. The Bloody Mary was better than the one I had the night before at Wines of Colorado, much better. Thanks. We’ll be back ?“
“Food was fantastic. We hiked the incline and wanted some coffee and good breakfast sandwich. We got both. The staff was fantastic! They are super friendly and on top of things. We stepped away for 5min from our table to get a pastry after our sandwich and came back to our table being cleaned off lol. They do free refills so it was all good. But I appreciated that they were cleaning up behind patrons. There is so much to look at here! Lots of plants make the place feel calming.“
“I loved how much variety of food and options there is! I went here to go grab some ice cream and saw how much the store adores dogs. They have dog magnets, cookies and more! My dog really loves the cookies they have here. I love the ice cream they have!“
“Update: After hearing back from the owners, I realize that they are new to the business (less than 1 month) and are still learning the ropes, so to speak. I do believe in extending grace in situations like this, so I bumped the original score to 4 stars instead of 3 with the belief that the speed of service will improve over time.Original post: After reading several reviews, we decided to try this custard place.I parked near the park, so we had a 5 minute walk there. Since it is paid parking, I went to the one of the parking machines and saw you can get 30 minutes of free parking, which I selected, figuring we’d have plenty of time. When we arrived, the line was long, maybe 10-12 people. I soon realized that this line wasn’t really moving. After standing there for 20 minutes, I left my family in line, walked back to the car, drove around looking for a closer spot and got back to my family. There were still people in front of them. When we got to the window, I realized why. There was one person both taking the orders and making each item. Another person was cleaning and doing other things around the kitchen area. That person did help a little bit with our order. So how was the custard? It was good, but it didn’t stand out to me as anything special. We ordered two Turtle Splits and one custom Avalanche with cookie dough. As I said, everything was good. I’ll also add that it was a very fair price. (Note: The menu prices are cash prices; there is a small fee to use credit card.)Seating options were limited around the side of the building. When we were ready to leave, we tried to find a trash can. They didn’t have one that we could find, so we put everything in one of the public trash cans nearby. So would I recommend this place? If you like custard and don’t mind a long wait, absolutely. If there’s no wait, then definitely give it a try!“
“Very good! Dropped in during a weekend in Manitou. Great beer, great burgers (HUGE), and excellent service. I tried the Truffle Fries (small plates/appetizer) and had the Incline Burger! Both were excellent and I was super stuffed at the end of the night. I really enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the friendly staff!“
“Thank you for making my daughter's 9th belated birthday in the tea room so memorable for her and her friends. Everything was wonderful and exploring the castle afterwards was fun all of the staff was very nice and patient. Thank you so much, we definitely will be back over the summer.“
“What a wonderful place! After spending the day climbing around pike peak my husband and I were looking for a good meal, we were willing to settle with something average.Wine of Colorado ended up being far from average especially for the price! They are clearly very passionate about their food and have very high quality ingredients, staff and spirits. Alyssa was our server and was an absolute gem! Can't wait to come back and visit.“
“Service was great and so were the little items around the store to peruse while you wait. My family is from New Orleans and have had beignets from there more times than I count so I was hesitant to try these. I shouldn’t have been! These are the best I’ve had outside of New Orleans. Made me want to take a trip back there since it’s been a couple years. Would gladly bring family here. Tried the chocolate dipping sauce to change it up a bit and not sure I’d get again but it was good!“
“Absolutely loved the pizza here and the garlic knots. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a pizza or just a snack. The have some combo deals with a slice or two and some knots and a drink or you can just get full pizzas. This restaurant is in a great location in Manitou Springs Colorado right next to the mountains and plenty of shopping around the restaurant. Loved this place and will definitely be returning.“
“The drinks are good, the staff is nice and courteous. But let's be real, the prices are high because it's the only coffee shop that the tourists can easily see. The local "high society" customers roll through with their pinkies in the air too.I much rather spend the extra money than patronize a business that hates the military and made us pay for water during 9-11, I was there! So support your local private owned.Vegetarian options: There's no meat grazers, its a coffee shop.Dietary restrictions: Cheat day approved.Parking: Its a drive through, not a hang out spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat muffins and like to drink.Wheelchair accessibility: Just stay in your vehicle and you can still roll up.“
