“I went there with my friend, my friend highly recommend to me ! The cream cheese Rangoons are the best! Food was great and service was as well.Especially the guy who working at the front was very attentive and in a positive mood while the restaurant was busy. I'll be sure to come by more often! We ordered dinner combo chicken wing with white rice, and the cream cheese rangoons, the orange chicken highly recommend A+“

“Just moved to the area and didn’t have much in the fridge, so we ordered dinner from here. The girl who answered the phone was super friendly, and the delivery guy was genuinely happy, great energy all around and I love that lol. And they had our food at the door in under ten minutes. Granted I’m like a half mile away, but still! Super fast delivery.

We got pork fried rice, egg rolls, boneless spare ribs, and chicken and broccoli. Solid 8/10 on the food, but the customer service, 10/10. This is that classic takeout, comfort Chinese food, hits the spot. Some options might not be good for you but it’s good for your soul lol Will be ordering from here again.“

“EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I placed an order through doordash. After the delivery was about 10 minutes outside the later end of the window, I called the restaurant just to make sure they received the order. The woman who answered the phone didn’t hesitate to say “it’s on the way!” A few minutes later, the food was at my doorstep from one of their own delivery drivers. (I’m so sorry I didn’t have cash to tip him directly because of doordash’s error!)

The General Tso Tofu was DELICIOUS, (vegan), and piping hot when it got here! I will absolutely come pick up at Moon Star in the future! :)“

“Ordered take out from here last night! I ordered the beef with broccoli and white rice and my friend ordered the general tsos chicken with pork fried rice. We shared and wow was it delicious! Everything was fresh and tasty! Glad I found a new spot near by!“

“This is the best Chinese spot in CT. It’s authentic and wallet friendly. They also have gluten free options which is rare anywhere. We eat here all the time and never get tired, especially with all the available options. Highly recommend this spot.“

“Food is excellent! Used to be an Oriental Gourmet in Southbury customer but switched because the quality and taste of their food degraded so much within the last year or so and never got better. Plus errors with take out orders were the last straw. Fortune House is definitely worth the trip from Southbury to Southford! Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Food was excellent and very healthy. I had the chicken and broccoli combination platter. It was some of the best I ever had. Chicken was nice and tender and very crispy. Broccoli and carrots were very delicious. Definitely will be going back. House of Chao is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. “I lived a mile away from this place for 20 years. This was our go-to Chinese take-out restaurant. I was down south for eight years and now, I’m in Branford. We have not gotten any decent Chinese food in Branford, so I decided to pick up a quart of pork-fried rice last night as a little test. I was delighted to see that the same family owned the restaurant. They were still so pleasant and the quality had not diminished in the slightest. Anyway, the rice was fantastic and still the best I’ve ever had. Check them out. I can’t wait to order other dishes from them.“

“I didn't want to write a review because I don't want anyone else to know about this place, but It was too good not to. Rangoon actually has crab in it! Scallions in fried rice, sauces were light and much different from what I'm used to which is refreshing. They were quite busy tonight so the food took a bit longer than anticipated, but totally worth it. I'll be back!! Shh don't tell anyone!“
