“We absolutely love this place! We have been twice. The second time was this week with my sister (visiting from England). They were very busy but got us seated fairly quickly. The manager asked if we were from England. We then realized that once we were seated, they were playing British hits over the speakers. It was such an awesome touch for us! The food was incredible. The cheese dip with the pretzel sticks is amazing. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the short rib grilled cheese, and the fish (fish and chips) was as close to home as we've gotten over here. I had the portobello wrap, which was delicious. They make a very yummy kids pudding as well, which our daughter loved. We will be back in the near future. I'm so glad this place is a part of our town ❤️“

“I was given a Groupon as a gift to go here and was pleasantly pleased! Our waitress was so attentive and everything form the Bread (with soft butter! I hate when it is still hard it was perfect!) the salad was very fresh and we both chose the Chicken Cacciatore which was so good! The place is cute and very clean! “I was recently there for dinner with my wife . Food was good , service was excellent and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and we interacted with a number of them . Nice decor and spoke about coming back in summer months as the venue would be great . Unfortunately we will never go back . When I got the bill I saw that they charged me 75 cents for mustard that I requested for my deluxe burger , I was infuriated . The catsup was free but was blown away by a charge for mustard. Did not complain or even mention it . It was minor on a $60 bill plus a 25% tip . But the fact that someone would nickel and dime you like that said I will take my business elsewhere . Can you imagine doing that?“

“I drive a considerable distance just to come visit Bobbi the bartender. She’s the best around! Funny, fast, excellent. It’s also hard to find such a welcoming fun crowd and cheap drinks anywhere else. The new owners are regularly around and you won’t have to look hard because they’ll greet you with a smile. But the tent and bar area are lovely as well..it was a wonderful place for a wedding reception that fit the outdoor/garden aesthetic. Anna is awesome as a coordinator! She is busy but knows what she is doing. Five stars for sure!“

“I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“

Limited food menu, so we ate before, but we did consume the fresh (free) popcorn they had. Pitcher of a lite beer was $15. The Bar, looks like a scene out of Hogwarts, dark, funky candles, old wooden tables with names carved in them, and definitely historic. Its a good thing we arrived a bit earlier for 6pm Monday night trivia as it was crowded, lots of Yalies there too.“

“We hadn't been here since in changed names/owners a few years ago. Four diners ordering 4 completely different meals - it was hard to choose which one we liked best. Starting with the street corn dip and poached pear; both were a hit, but the party was divided on whether or not they would have liked the pear served warm (it was served cold) and filled with honey mascarpone and lots of pistachios. We moved onto the main courses of chicken cutlet with mashed potatoes; steak with truffle fries; orecchiette with broccoli and sausage; hamburger with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection (steak medium rare, chicken crispy and not at all dry, burger medium with just a hint of pink in the center.) The drinks were creative (did not skimp on the alcohol!) and plentiful, refilled quickly by our attentive server. Desserts as always tend to make or break a meal; these desserts did not disappoint. Banana tres leches cake, Amaretto crème brulee and the special cookie and ice cream combination along with coffee and digestif. A special treat for the evening - Live entertainment in the bar area. Not too loud, we could still have dining room conversation over the music, but found ourselves singing along to most of the tunes. There is definitely something here for everyone!“

“Food was excellent. My friend ordered the sea bass and loved it. I ordered one of the salad/rice bowls and it was delicious. Suzanne was the best waitress ever! She was friendly, funny and gave good recommendations regarding the menu. Ended up having friends show up and none of us were without service when it was needed. She was always there with a smile! Highly recommend this restaurant.“
