“The sushi here is fantastic, though it was a bit of a learning curve for our daughter! She wasn't a fan of the sushi texture but loved the hibachi. It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“

“This place is great. My Wife & I live in the area and we order or dine in here at least once a week. The people are friendly and the sushi is always fresh. Additionally, their lunch and dinner boxes are always high quality with good portions. Compared to other Japanese Restaurants in the area, Sushi Man is price competitive. They’re a really nice addition to the South Fire / Xavier area of Middletown; I’d love to see them succeed long term!“

“Not sure if a new owner took over, but ordered via Uber eats 7/1/2025.

The bowl brings me back memories of when I first had a pokebowl.

The portions were generous, and all the mix-ins and proteins were thoroughly mixed with the sauces instead of the past few times where they just squirted sauces on top.

I would have to say if this is not under ownership, whoever made my bowl around 12:45pm on 7/1/25 should get a well deserved praise.

I have given up on Pokemoto on middletown and decided to order here on a whim but pleasantly surprised the change in quality (for good)

Definitely ordering more if this is the new standard.“
