“I usually Don’t write food reviews but I’m fat sooooo….Ever have those tacos that claim to be a meal but eat like a snack , making you scramble to hit Dunkin afterwords for a coffee and a donut just because it doesn’t do it for you. “Stopped into Brick Oven as a suggestion from my high school buddy who lives in New Haven. Will be a place I frequent going forward in my travels to New Haven. The pizza was great but the customer service was even greater.. The owner actually took the time to converse with us and to have good pizza and good customer service puts this spot high on my list of places to go period. Da prez“

“This is the tenth person I put on to this place. He was sooooo in love with the margarita pizza. Usually I get the shrimp pesto (my favorite) but I didn’t want to scare him. You would’ve thought he was going crazy while eating. Thank for the many years I’ve came it turned out perfect :)“

I highly recommend it. Especially the BOUILLABAISE 49 Scallops + Mussels + Manila Clams + Rock Shrimp + Black Bass in their red sauce was delicious! The salmon and the kids' meal were good, even though it was a Monday, the place and the bar had a great atmosphere. Food: BOUILLABAISE $49 Scallops + Mussels + Manila Clams + Rock Shrimp + Black Bass (It was delicious, my darling) SALMON WITH PEPITA COVER $40* Spiced Pumpkin Puree + Broccoli Rabe + Tomatillo Green Sauce DRINKS: Mojitos Margaritas We're almost there; An excellent place, we loved it so much that we made a reservation through Opentable, which never fails. “Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit today, the food was delicious and the service EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you for offering the GLUTEN-FREE injera and all of the creative vegetarian dishes... we loved the fresh and flavorful salads (Key Sir Selata and the Timatim Fitfit), then had the best Ater Kik and Tikel Gomen I have ever had in my life! We will definitely return, and highly recommend to anyone in search of authentic Ethiopian cuisine!“

I love their tacos and burritos. they have added metal covering over the area where you place your order and over an area outside where you can sit and eat. you can also go inside where there are tables and plenty of toppings for your food. it's clean. there is a bathroom also. “I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I used to get Halal Guys on the green in New Haven for years and was so disappointed when it closed. I’d say Shah’s is even better and more authentic to the “Halal food truck” roots. A combo plate is enough for two meals. Definitely a go-to spot.“

“The food and service at this place are both great. The breakfast portions are generous. Don’t miss the mint lemonade; it’s a must-try. And the za’tar pizza (I don’t think that’s what they call it) is one of my favorites. Highly recommend it!“

“The food was phenomenal, so good that we had to bring our whole family here twice the same week. I had the Chorizo, and Asada burritos which were decently sized, they come with guacamole. The atmosphere was perfect with the tables and chairs being hand painted (I think). Service is another 10/10, they gave us free churros both times, and gave us chips and refried beans as a type of “unlimited side”. They were so kind wishing us happy mother’s days. Overall experience was a 10/10 and I will definitely recommend my other family members here.“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“This place is a gem. Small and family-owned, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and genuinely kind service. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and the beef bibimbap was excellent. I’m only in town briefly while staying at the nearby hospital for a friend, but I felt I had to leave a review. I hope this place sees much success. I’ll definitely be back tomorrow.“

“Walked into the shop and immediately there was the warmest smell of fresh cinnamon rolls in the oven - had to get some along with our coffee and so glad we did. Such a smooth iced americano and SUCH good cinnamon buns. The owner was so sweet! Glad we found this place to along around town“

“Used to go here all the time; over the years, got away. Had guests coming in from Portugal. Ordered sausage and mushrooms, route 67 and hawaiian pies. Fabulous! Outstanding. Company debated which pie was the best and there was no clear cut favorite. This family has been tremendous serving Oxford for years. We will not go anywhere else again. This is our go to pizza restaurant.“
