Humphrey Bogart greets you as you enter this throwback to comfort and great drinks. “We tried for the first time last night. I had called earlier in the day for a reservation, but when we arrived it was not in the system. They nonetheless found room for us on a crowded night. The menu had a lot of appealing items, it was hard to decide and we were happy with everything we ordered. Service was great. It is a bit open room that is a bit loud. We expected that so it didn't bother us but just adding it to the review for folks who prefer a quieter night out.“
“My friend & I were in the area and stopped in for the first time. The staff were super friendly & attentive. We were able to be cozy on the couches and ordered wine flights - loved the variety! The cheese box was also so good to pair with the flights. We were full on wine & cheese. Such a cozy vibe for local drinks & a wine down. Will definitely be returning!“

“Living in Fairfield, we have a handful of regular places we either go out to eat or get take out from, and Malibu is right there on top of the list. We've been eating here for years, and I am constantly impressed with quality and flavors of the food. The few times we came here to eat, whether its with 6 people or 2 people, we always had exceptional service. The restaurant is also very cool inside, and on a nice warm day, has plenty of outdoor seating.One of my favorites is the Marinated Ahi Tuna rice bowl (ponzu marinated chopped tuna, guac, scallions, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, spicy cucumbers, blueberries, miso-lime vinaigrette). But honestly, everything on the menu is good. My daughter is partial to the pork belly tacos.Highly recommend either for family meal or a night out with friends (drink menu is great too!)“
“Ok, we've been here a number of times, so it's time for a review. Service, always solid from host/hostess to wait staff and support. The place has a cool vibe with cool people who hang out at the bar. Giant tv w old movies, some red velvet and beautiful lighting. Now, the food, very solid and every dish was delicious. Come hungry! My wife loved the burrata ravioli. I've had the burrata platter, pasta with short rib, lobster ravioli and branzino special. I loved em all! Enter, relax and order w confidence. One of our "go to" restaurants (especially since they are open late). No high chairs for those who young kiddos.“
“One of the best Italian restaurants around. The owner is from Sorrento and he brings the Italian charm. Very traditional menu with fresh homemade items. The pizza is light and fresh. The pappadella al ragu is one of the best dishes. The homemade pasta is extremely light and airy. Great atmosphere and spot for lunch or dinner.“
