The chicken sandwich lunch special at Cafe Deux is amazing. I ordered the sandwich twice this week on wednesday and again on friday as it was that good !!! The chicken sandwich has a slight spice flavor but not too spicy and the garlic aioli sauce was such a great pairing with the sandwich. I really hope the chicken sandwich transitions from being a lunch special to being part of the main menu at Cafe Deux :)
Definitely ask to try any of their mixed drinks especially the lavender martini which is a great drink for the summer :)“

But the quality of my regular sandwich has deteriorated, and I have decided to give it a break.
Coffee is highly overpriced, and the cashier has repeatedly overcharged that that needed to be corrected.
If you have a coffee card, even after 10 drinks, they will acknowledge the card but forget to take it off the bill. Very weird way of ringing the end client.“

We had them cater the cocktail hour and desserts for our back yard wedding (food truck came to serve dinner) and everything was seamless and delicious from planning through the very end. The exterior has so much character. The open courtyard is adorable, makes you want to write an obscure novel while sitting here. The interior is also adorable, it’s clean charming, and big. I get a vanilla latte everywhere I go and this was one of my favorites, not sure what syrup they use but it’s not too sweet which is the best. People were here working, and chatting. They have the newspaper and WiFi. Love this place.

It was such an incredible experience to be up front with the chefs, asking questions, watching them work. “The best pitaya bowl I have ever tried. SUPER FRESH. The fruit toppings were very fresh as well. Babies love it as well, just buy it without the toppings. The fresh mango they used for topping was the best I have ever had. I wonder where they buy their mangoes. Very convenient location, on the avenue. I put my pitaya bowl in the fridge overnight, as it was just as delicious de-frosted.“
