“Honestly the best Chinese food place in the area, maybe in all of Fairfield County! I'm extremely picky about my Chinese and have been disappointed at least a little bit at every place I've tried up here since college but this place is fantastic!

And they're always so friendly!

10000/10 would recommend!“

“I’m a New Yorker and if you know you know!! The picture doesn’t do them any justice, but the food is always fresh, delicious and the sell plantains, which is a huge plus in my book. I haven’t found any good food in this area, until I tried them! And their honey wing? trust me, you won’t be disappointed! ?????“

“We recently moved to New Fairfield from Queens, NY - so appreciate good Chinese/Japanese/Korean food. We've tried and been disappointed by all the Chinese restaurants north of I-84, so decided to venture further afield and ordered takeout from Beijing Chinese to bring with us to an event held at the Charter Oak Brewery (which doesn't serve food - so encourages patrons to bring their own). Tough to see/find off White St, Beijing is buried in a nondescript food, strip mall perpendicular to White St - also containing a pizza joint, a sandwich deli and Jamaican j*** joint. Beijing was buzzing with patrons awaiting their takeout; the other 3 establishments were dead - so others must also like Beijing's food. Items such as egg rolls, wontons & dumplings most restaurants buy frozen from whole sellers and so taste uniformly Meh! But the 3 freshly prepared dishes we ordered were very good: Beef Chow Fun, General Tso's Chicken. Hot & Spicy Chicken - about as good as any Queens neighborhood Cantonese takeout, though not up to Flushing Standards. This restaurant is strictly takeout; you wait on the sidewalk and the the transaction takes place thru a window (Good for Covid-19 precautions). We will make the schlep and further explore their menu!“

Good Taste Chinese Restaurant Chinese • $
247 Main St, Danbury

“There are no real surprises here. That's the good news. You've certainly seen the menu before. And on the big menu there is lots of good stuff. Our family has been going here for two generations, really countless times. Cocktails. White tablecloth. Speedy service. Large portions. Full bar. And most important tasty eats at fair prices.“

Shrimp Fried Rice

“This downtown Chinese restaurant has a quick inexpensive buffet or you can order from the take out menu. We have had both while we visited Danbury, CT. The buffet is fresh and we enjoyed the chicken and broccoli, the veggie lo mein, and the string beans. It is an all you can eat buffet for a flat fee. We ordered won ton soup for lunch one day. A pint of soup contained four big wontons in a tasty broth. Dark and kind of dreary interior, but just sit by the windows so if it bothers you.“

Egg Roll

“I liked their egg rolls the most and then their steamed dumplings and their fried dumplings and then even their sesame chicken was okay, but I don’t think I will order their vegetable lomein again… But I did like their homemade tea and their homemade hot chili oil too ??The lady who took my order was pleasant ?? but as for their atmosphere? — let’s just say they look busy… ? I wonder if management wants to grow their business into a bigger space? I know a place similar to them that was in business for years and years and did so well that they closed for a number of weeks while they remodeled themselves into a really nice buffet with a hibachi chef and a sushi chef too ????“
