“Had a fabulous birthday dinner with family last night. Oysters were delicious with a great hot sauce provided from the Bronx. Skate and Monkfish specials of the day were excellent. Monday night and there was not an empty table. Testament to the great food and wonderful servers.“

“First and foremost, I RARELY give any restaurant five stars. This restaurant earned their five stars; food, service, atmosphere all hit the mark! The food is absolutely delicious. I'm a seafood lover and I must say it's the BEST seafood restaurant I've ever been to. Everything I ate was very fresh and the kitchen definitely know what they're doing. Calamari was crispy on the outside and tender inside. It comes with buffalo sauce, lemon aioli and bamu sauce which is a spicy thin Asian sauce. Clam chowder was creamy, had the usual bacon, clams and celery and garnished with a clam on the shell; great touch if you ask me. The spicy tuna tartare was my favorite thing I ate. It came with papadum chips that were light and crispy (better than potato chips!). The tuna tartare had the right amount of spice that didn't overpower your tastebuds but it let you know you were eating fresh, delicious tuna. The cucumbers added a very refreshing touch to the dish and I loved the wasabi aioli! The hot lobster roll was perfect. Coleslaw was delicious. The steamers are always messy to eat but worth it! I had a mini seafood feast and I was super satisfied leaving the restaurant. I usually finish a good meal with dessert but I had no room. There's always a next visit for that! I didn't try my son's cheeseburger because I strictly wanted seafood but it was cooked medium just how we asked and he said it was delicious. My son is a picky eater so if he says it's good, it's good. Ambiance is very nice. There's indoor and outdoor seating. If you're a sun lover you'd love to be outdoors with the sun shining on you while you dine with a great view of the water and boats. Inside had nice nautical decor. They had a nice bar area with lots of drinks. Our server, MJ, was amazing. He was very attentive to all our needs. It was our first time eating here and we will return because of MJ and the amazing food. Our cups were always full and finished dishes cleared away. I appreciate servers like MJ because it elevates the dining experience. Great food can only get you so far but hard workers like MJ truly magnify a great experience. The restaurant was super packed. They have valet parking and I honestly thought we would wait forever but we didn't. We got in right away and our food promptly came out. MJ made sure we got the food in the order we wanted and we didn't feel rushed or ignored. Again, this is why I'm giving them five stars! If you love seafood, great service and a beautiful view, check them out.“

“Rizzuotos NEVER disappoints. Even with Open Table NOT sending the reservation to them even though i had received confirmation from OT in my email, they were able to accommodate our request, on a busy Friday night. Our server Julissa was noting short of amazing. Always checking on us making sure we were not forgotten. We have been here several times and do not see any dip in service, food or atmosphere.“

Fresh catch of the day seafood and other bar favorites are sure to satisfy anyone's appetite. From 4-630is happy hour where drinks and apps are half off. Always a good time when Craig, Jules, Bobby or Tracy are tending bar. The food is mostly great but some items, such as the Lobster Mac & Cheese and Potato Skins are forgettable, but the homemade soups, crab cakes, po boys, wings and stuffed burgers are excellent!“

“Great location in a lively, redeveloped section of Stamford. We had an event with a fixed price menu and each course was amazingly good. Come hungry, because they give you a lot of food. Apps, salad, pasta and main courses were all wonderful. Great service and a great view of the harbor. Not sure if it is open to the public, but if it is, check it out.“

“We had a party of four in the lounge for the Wagyu Burger and Wine promotion. The food was fabulous, while the service was just a bit lacking---not awful but not perfect. The fellow who we thought was our waiter poured us water and then brought us the bill but I don't think we saw him between that. We had to summon the captain to order our drinks. If we put that aside, which we did, the burgers/fries/wine were outstanding and a true value.“

“When they first opened the noise level was off the charts. I'm happy to report they spent a lot of money sound proofing the dining room and adding tablecloths. I encourage you to give it another try if you were like me and refuse to go there because of all the noise. “Kotobuki is an authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food and service. The head chef is the owner -- Masanori Sato, who goes informally by the moniker "Masa." Masa is always busy, behind the such bar, creating his excellent delicacies. My favorite is the sushi and sushi rolls -- always fresh and delicious. In addition to the traditional rolls, there are some wonderful in-house creations such as the Spicy Betty Roll, Lobster Roll (my wife's favorite), and my favorite, the Kevin Roll. The latter, in deference to the national color of Ireland, is spicy tuna wrapped in slices of tuna, fried, and covered with avocado (green, of course). The setting is not overdone, to say the least, but is very basic -- a variety of wooden tables surrounded by walls enhanced with various pieces of art appropriate to the cuisine and culture. The tables are separated by cloth partitions highlighting Japanese scenery. The table service is excellent, the staff is very accommodating, and shout-outs are certainly appropriate for Mr. Sato's wife (head waitress) and Jenny (one of the welcoming waitresses). Moreover, the dining room is very quiet, conducive to conversing with cohorts without the need to raise one's voice. It should be mentioned that Kotobuki remained open during the pandemic, serving both take-out meals AND in-house specialties.“

“We had lunch and we sat at the booths across from the bar, I was closer to the bar and could smell something that was similar to garbage. It bothered me but I ignored it. The couple we were with left and my wife and I went to the bar for a drink and some more food for her because she didn't like what she had for brunch. The smell of garbage was so bad, she decided to go hungry and we left after my one drink. We will not be coming back.“
