“Everyone needs to try the Skillet Burrito ASAP! It’s new on the menu, all I needed to see in the description was SMOTHERED IN QUESO lol it was the most delicious burrito I have ever eaten. I will be ordering it every time I go there now. I hope enough people review it so they keep it on the menu! You should try it, you will not be disappointed!“
“A neighborhood spot that is often quiet but has its busy nights. Good drinks, good prices, and really good food for a bar. Mixed crowd but of the older persuasion. Wouldn't recommend for a very young crowd. Definitely 30 and older. Avoid Monday nights though. There is one bartender who only cares about tips and never about good service.“

“One of my all time favorite spots . Hands down beats all the local competition for seafood . Drinks are amazing ?? Two favorite’s are coconut shrimp app ? and seafood boil combo Reels catch seasoned garlic butter the flavor is great and seafood is fresh not too mention the atmosphere of the Resturant , the waitstaff are very pleasant and seems to enjoy the work they do & knowledgeable on the seafood . It’s def an experience , so if ur ever in the area I suggest u stop by u won’t be disappointed .“

“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! “Didn’t catch the names of who was working New Year’s Day pm but service was OUTSTANDING. Bartender to bartender, these guys really kill it and have the best energy. Already recommended it to my local friends and they can’t wait to come in.

“First time here, but I was very impressed by the food and service. I'm trying to eat a more plant-based diet and the veggie quesadilla was not only delicious, but extremely satisfying and filling. One of a few places that actually have blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis! Will definitely stay here again!“

“This was our first time eating at Mancora and it was delicious. Our server, Julio, was great. When I asked for a sauce on my dish, he actually pointed out that they had a dish comprised of exactly what I wanted.
I had the pescado a lo macho and my husband had the pulpo. Both were fantastic - the fish was fried perfectly, the seafood in the sauce was cooked to perfection, and the octopus was so tender. We were too stuffed for dessert, but I’ll be back for an alfajor next time!“

“I am from England but have used this bar the 3 times iv been hear now since last January very good atmosphere the food is really good and reasonably cheap and very tasty and the drink is reasonably priced aswell love this place.
The staff are friendly and nice will definitely be using this bar every time im hear and just down the street from woodspring suites where I stay what more could I ask for 👍👍👍👍“

“Was there Monday night for dinner and it was amazing from the bread service to the apps drinks dinner and dessert got the bone in ny sirloin cooked to perfection and my friend got the short rib pasta special minus the short rib bc she is a Vegetarian they wete more than happy to accommodate and her food was equally as delicious!!“

“I was in town for the weekend and came across this bar. Let me say the hospitality was amazing. I talked to this one security, i forgot his name (big bearded white guy on the second floor ), he gave me recommendations on what other bars were around and ideas on how to spend my time in CT. The bartenders were amazing and the drinks were great. The bathrooms could be a little bit more clean but overall the experience Was great“

“I have been going to Franks on and off for 15 years. (My father used to lived above the bad in the 1970s but that is a story for another time). This place is quiet and quick service. The staff is also appealing to the eye. I highly recommend.“
