“I recently discovered this African restaurant. The grilled chicken is really delicious and that together with their fried yam is my favorite. Their portions are good and the menu is typically Ghanaian. They are easy to locate, have ample parking and pricing is moderate.“

“Came at about 8pm place was spotless, bathrooms and floors were immaculate and the food was made fresh for me within seconds and was a perfect 3 piece with fries that were on point!The managers here were super friendly and the staff here I could tell work very hard today!Great hospitality and place was above and beyond for me with the food and the welcoming.

“I hate that they slowly repeat your mobile order, even after you say no changes because you are running late for work. I'm probably the only one, but the whole point of using the mobile ordering is that I ensure my order is accurate and speeds up the process. I don't like to talk to people because of my disability, so mobile ordering has been a life saver so if someone says no changes, don't slowly read their order and ask if they would like to make any changes. Acknowledge I have already said as much as if I mattered.“

“The other day I was craving Cheek’s, so I ordered my absolute go-to: the Grilled Deluxe Sandwich with spicy chipotle sauce and a side of onion rings. It is honestly the best sandwich out there. The chicken is grilled to perfection, the chipotle sauce gives it the perfect kick, and here is my ultimate pro-tip: put an onion ring inside the sandwich for an incredible crunch!
Speaking of the onion rings—if you have ever been to Six Flags and had Johnny Rockets' onion rings but can't find anything similar, go to Cheek’s. They are actually even better!

“I think this must be a training issue because it’s new this year and happens every single time - I never get my drink. I order on the app and sit at a table. I get my food, and then they walk away. Once in awhile they bring me my drink, but usually not before I’m done with my food. This is at the least the fifth time this has happened here, maybe closer to the tenth.“

“We went here with my in-laws and my kids. Every single one of us got something different. My mother-in-law got delicious barbecue. I had Puerto Rican food that was absolutely to die for. It was great that everyone could have something different and still sit together. There was music playing and the vibe was really good. We will definitely go back again.“

“Five stars for significant improvement on 8/20. Okay so, as the other reviews stated, our first experience here was less than stellar. The chicken we got was so laden with grease a few of us got really upset stomachs from eating it. It seemed like the chicken wasn't put to dry out after coming out of the fryer and went straight into the container, still dripping in fry oil. Additionally, the banana pudding we got, the bananas were completely green and hard. We wanted to try it again since the west hartford location is so good. This time when we got the chicken, it was not dripping in grease at all. The chicken was delicious! I also got the banana pudding again, and the bananas were nice and ripe, very nice pudding.
If you guys read reviews, please please please take heed of mine and multiple others and *let your chicken rest after it comes out of the fryer*. Also, never use green bananas for the pudding. Keep up the good work.“

“Ordered a delivery for two of us which was actually a lot of food, and drink too. We cannot say thank you enough for the kindness of the staff members who prepared our order tonight. It was packed carefully, and nothing was forgotten. The beverages were delicious as was the temperature and deliciousness of the food. We want to encourage everyone to contact this KFC too. “I stopped eating Jamaican food years ago unless it came out of my kitchen. I was Feenin for some Jamaican food one night I was at work late. Got on door dash there was cream time. Hmmm what is this I ordered something simple because I’ve been traumatize from the food coming out of Hartford. I ordered fried chicken, rice and peas, and an order of festival. My god so simple and so delicious. I’ve probably ordered from them about 20 more times after that. The oxtail, the stew chicken, the curry goat, must o go on. This place is incredible. To the point where I had to call in and tell them how good the food was. I will soon go into this place because I need to meet the people who create this food and to just go check out the atmosphere. Keep cooking up that good food. Thank you“
